In 2022 my tire came off while driving luckily I was at the bottom of the mountain and at the top during winter they told me to have it towed to them which I did and then the next day I had issues with my 4 Wheel Dr. Which again I brought back to them and not even a week later another tire started having the same issues where the lug nuts and bolts had come off while driving but yet I just had to give him another chance this year, bad choice and they don't care or have any Accountability so now I'm forced to sue read more

Needed wiper blades and a tire inflation while driving through the Siskiyous, knew I could count on Les Schwab for service. The store is under construction, but don't let that fool you. Was able to run in the temporary office, got pulled up to a bay, and was able to get back on the road in 10 minutes. Service was good and was typical for other stores. Stopped here after having car trouble on a roadtrip to Portland. We were very nervous after my car began shaking and driving in a very bumpy manner. Keith was so helpful! He explained what the issue could be and offered to test drive the car free of charge. He did so and diagnosed the problem - the rotors were worn down and would eventually need repair. He said we could do it now and gave a quote but also told us the car would make the trip okay. I have never felt disrespected over the 3 years I've been goin to Les swab in ashland for a brake and tire inspection and probably because these new employees aren't well trained how to be professional when discussing stuff that a customer came in to get checked for. I've been going there to get my tires and brakes checked all the time and for somehow the short Smurf dude with the beard didnt want to tell me what was going on with my brakes but wanted me to pay him to deeply diagnose what was going on with it and ask to pay $150 for it which is so wrong on a free brake inspection like I just wanna know whats Wrong with the brakes and he refused but wanted to be paid to tell me what's wrong with it.then he decided to pull out my vehicle and won't help me at all which is very disrespectful. read more

Came in by appointment to have 2 front tires replaced after getting a flat. Good customer service. Work done correctly, and in a reasonable amount of time (about a half hour). They also informed me that I needed a wheel alignment (front and back); something Volkswagen of Medford did not spot on my last "inspection". I will come back to this location for the rear tires and the 4 wheel alignment. Price quoted is fair. My only disappointment is that Les Schwab does not offer any Veteran's discount at this location (perhaps all Les Schwab now?). Hence, the 4 star rating (would have been 5). I recently had a very strange experience trying to buy snow cables from the Les Schwab shop in Ashland. I asked to buy a particular set of snow cables. I had called that morning and confirmed the price and availability. The sales guy at the shop quoted me a price that was 70. more for the same cables. Very odd. He then tried to direct me to get some snow chains instead. Don't know why. Bigger markup? Commission structure? After much back and forth, he finally agreed that he could sell me the cables for the originally quoted price. Good thing I had checked Amazon for the pricing first. Very bizarre encounter. I normally deal with Discount Tire in Medford but I went here to get my tires rebalanced after 3 failed attempts there. Les Schwab in Ashland FINALLY got it right, and diagnosed the actual problem which was loose hub centric rings on my aftermarket wheels. TL:DR - Amazing service from friendly people. Please give them your business. My experience with Les Schwabe today was a lesson in customer service. I drove home late last night, and my neighbor pointed out my rear tire was flat. In the morning, I tried to change the tire, but the lug nuts were on so tight it was like they were welded on. I called Les Schwabe and spoke with Madison, who was very helpful. They sent somebody to my house remarkably quickly. Madison warned me that house calls were expensive, but I had no choice. The service rep, Jeremy, came by my house and told me he would fill the tire with his compressor and I could drive it to the store. The service people took me in right away and I noticed that in addition to coming by my house and helping, Jeremy was fixing my tire. He fixed it very quickly and when it came time to pay, Jeremy chatted with me for a minute and then told me "No charge. Welcome to Les Schwabe country." I was flabbergasted. No charge? This is how you make a customer for life. Thank you to everyone at Les Schwab, but particularly Madison and Jeremy for your exemplary customer service. You really are the best. read more

I just love love Les Schwab. Brand new car, tire pressure monitoring system warning comes on. I'm far from home but I know and trust Les Schwab and here's one just 1.5 miles away. I show up about 4:15 and they close at 6. I'm thinking I'm probably going to have to spend the night in Ashland - - "No problem we can get it fixed today" the service person told me. About 40 minutes later, it is fixed - - a screw in the tire. "No charge" - - I would have happily paid $50 for that service! I'm a life long Les Schwab customer. read more

In this day and age, it's hard to find truly amazing service. Seems like everything is do-it-yourself these days. Les Schwab is a glowing exception. Our family has been to this location 3 times, and all 3 times were outstanding service. Just yesterday I went as a walk-in, as I noticed that I had picked up a nail in one of my tires and wanted to know if I needed a patch or replacement. The crewmember was able to extract it with no problem, and the tire was intact. Best of all - No Charge! Top-notch service, with no fee. That's earning loyalty for life right there. Everyone I've worked with here from the front desk to the tire crew have been outstanding. They clearly have a unified mission in delivering the best service end-to-end. I was traveling through Oregon on family business when my 5k maintenance was needed. I called around 1pm on Saturday and they said they could fit me in for a tire rotation. I really didn't need anything else as I drive a PHEV and the 5k interval is mainly inspection and tire rotation. I will do the rest when I get back home. Keith answered the phone and said to come on over. Cost was $28 which was fine for me. I was shopping on convenience and quality. Martin handled the tire rotation, set the pressure to my request, and torqued the lug nuts to my preferred setting. Since my tire wear was getting thin, they did recommend buying a new set. I expected them to say that as they have 55k miles on them and they were getting thin. I will replace my tires upon returning home. Overall, thank you Keith and Martin. read more

Our Tesla got a flat while we were stopping by Ashland on a road trip from California. Unfortunately for us, we were about 200 miles from the nearest Tesla service center and the tire we needed didn't exist in the entire state of Oregon. We called Mitch at Les Schwab tires and not only did he make numerous calls to other tire centers in the area on our behalf, but he also was patient in helping us think through a way to get home. Ultimately, Mitch recommended that we install a tire of the same size so we could get back home to California. When we got to Les Schwab, he greeted us warmly and installed the tire in no time. I was on a road trip when I got a nail in my car. Unfortunately for me it was unrepairable. I found myself in Ashland and stayed at a nearby hotel. It was a Sunday and of course most tire shops are not open but Monday morning at 7:50am I called to see if they had a tire in my size and the manager answered the phone even tho they don't open until 8 lol that's great customer service right there!! They had my size and took me in as a walk in and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and the shop itself was clean and organized. I've never posted a review ever but after many strange interactions with various les swabs I felt I needed to say something. had my tires rotated. didn't notice that they damaged my wheel and also cut into my sidewall. saw it a couple days later. They had to know they damaged my tire and wheel. but I let it go. my car needed some brake pads. told me I need new calipers and rotors also. That was a lie! only needed brake pads. I fix it myself and everything is fine. another time I had a small screw in a tire dead center in the top of the tire. because I had slight wear on the outside of tire they said it was impossible to fix and tried to upsale me 4 tires. the guy Justin at the Ashland location said it couldn't be fixed which is a complete lie. he was very rude and I told him I wouldn't come back here and he said that's great! the word is out that your company policy of upselling by basically lying and telling people they need new parts is straight up hustling people. I hope people get a second opinion before giving these folks your money. read more

I tend to love Les Schwab Tire Centers in general; however, the one located in Ashland OR is impeccable! I have lived WAY WAY up in the mountains since I was a kid, so I visit Les Schwab often getting my studded winter tires on and off, getting the rest of the family's vehicles' studded tires on and off, having them scrape the lava-rocks (that the snowplow dumps for traction) off of my break pads, replacing the shocks on my Jeep after one too many off-roading misshapes... Yes, Les Schwab is NOT the absolute cheapest place to get these things replaced or repaired, but they are worth the little bit of extra cost because of the outstanding and unparalleled customer service they provide. For instance, if you buy your tires from them they will rotate them as often as every 3,000 miles and repair flats all for FREE. Not to mention that you can just pull in and they'll check your tire pressure and top them off with out even having to get out of your car (if you're tires are from them). I have saved SO MUCH money overall by paying a little bit more up front (for usually a bit better quality of a tire too) because I have never once had to pay to get a flat fixed. Really the most important thing to me is that, especially at the Ashland shop, they're not totally sexist jerks! As a woman I find myself having to prove that I am not an idiot or a rube and I won't be swindled with the meaningless "up-sells" etc. because I look like I don't know anything about cars. I have only had that classic male mechanic move pulled on me once at a Les Schwab in Eugene, but here in Ashland I have never experienced (or even heard rumor of) this kind of behavior. They are HONEST!!! Their service speaks for itself and they don't need any tricks or shady moves to make money because they care about their reputation above all else. read more

was a long time customer until just recently . was quoted $220 to dismount 4 tires, and install 4 used tires, and balance all 4. I have had many tires changed out here and never was the amount this high. I was told it's because they were not Les schwabs tires ( although they didn't even ask if they were or not . ). earlier this same day I had 4 tires dismounted, this was $20. So $200 to mount and balance 4 tires ? Theyare pretty quick since their main business is tires, it's about a 20 minute job. I ended up taking my business to another tire place in Medford which only charged $100 for that same service . I love to give my money to the local places , but if you want to gouge me in the process, then you lose a customer. to be fair , this price was given to me by an employee I have never seen there, I said there is no way that was an accurate quote.... but another employee ( also never seen there before) backed up the quote , saying that her quote was accurate . I appreciate the employees who have been there a while , they do know their job well, and I have been treated fairly most times in the past , but to just double the cost of the services because I did not purchase new tires from them is very unfair. again these were used tires . lastly I will say that the prices never seem to be the same , it depends on the person writing the invoice , and if they are in a good mood you might get a lower price , or if they are having a bad day , that exact same service might cost quite a bit more. they ask for your number to bring up your information / history , so they could see I have done plenty of work in the past , so why .....why... would you push away a local customer ? read more

Ashland Les Schwab has employees not wearing masks and three people in waiting area who are not wearing masks. The manager says that is o.k. with him. No way he would ask a customer to put their mask back on if they are sitting in their waiting area. And that if I don't like it I should go stand outside. He further made the point that people don't have to wear masks inside businesses. He says the Governor's Mandate is MERELY a suggestion. I am stunned by the absurdity. I am equally stunned by how mad it makes me. So, if you actually care about our State and County doing better with Covid, DON'T go to Les Schwab. read more

I hate to have to give such a poor review since I've been a les schwab customer for a while now. I took my car in for some new tires, and of course the techs recommended the usual items to get fixed along with the tire change. I gave in to the upselling this time and had my alignment redone and my shocks switched out. First issue - The balancing of the car was done in correctly, my steering wheel began vibrating when I drove over 60 mph on the free way. Second issue - they upsold me on an alignment that wasn't even done correctly. Again I was the highway and my car still pulled to the right. So that was a poor alignment job that cost over a 100 bucks and done incorrectly. Third Issue- since they messed with my frame, I ve now started hearing a creaking noise when braking, that I wasn't experiencing before. Overall my car doesn't drive the same, much less responsive and looser steering than before I brought my car in. It's a shame when your car was better off before bringing it in for adjustments and new tires. Will be extremely hard to trust les schwab after this since the work wasn't done correctly the first time and will be more cautious when taking their recommendation on work that needs to be done. read more
