My son had an unfortunate situation happen to him and his car and quite frankly, I didn't think that Les Schwab was going to be able to fix the issue. I remember telling him that he needs to contact Toyota or a specialized shop that deals with his particular issue. Boy. Was I wrong. He took his car over to the Les Schwab location conveniently located down the street and the team was professional, courteous, and offered three possible outcomes. After about a week's time, his car was ready, It was an expensive repair bill but my son asked if he could finance the bill. They ran his credit check and set up payments for him. I believe the neighborly team leader was Pat who helped my son. Super grateful that my son was able to get his car repaired by qualified technicians and for him to have a reasonable payment solution. read more

I took my vehicle in specifically for a vibration. I had an alignment and balance done and the employee missed a wheel bearing and hub issue. Now I'm at another shop spending $1,500. Don't worry I'm not asking for my money back because this place is not worth it. if you have more than tires, brakes, and rotation issues, go to a car shop. read more

NOT what they use be as I used them for years! (Ustick /Records) will never go there again the way I was treated (12/19/25) took my car in to have an alignment and my tires rotated. When I went to pay the young man that worked on my car said my tires did not need to be rotated they were fine...he was sure of it so he didn't rotate them. My car does not get driven much so I hardly have miles on it. So when I noticed the light come on I have a low tire pressure I took my car back there (2/23/26) explained my low tire pressure light came on.... would they please rotate my tires as well. The tire man that helped me informed me my tires in the front were very worn and would need replacement soon. After it was all done I was at the counter having to listen to this tire man tell he wouldn't charge me $35. for the rotation since I had the alignment. The tire man was not nice and kept talking down to me....When did they start charging for tire rotation? I will never go there again after the treatment I received! We needed our tires rotated, but apparently the tires were so worn down, we got talked into brand new tires. Ok, my husband got talked into it. I stared blankly as they began to talk about wear and tread and mileage. I dunno. The work was done quickly and with no fuss. The whole process took about 20 minutes, from diagnosing the old tires as having one foot in the grave to rolling out of the shop with shiny new tires. I appreciated that they didn't try to upsell us and simply answered my husband's questions and followed his directives. They also let us know about some other necessary maintenances (axles? struts? I dunno), but when my husband said he could take care of it, they happily gave him the information and sent us on our way. I will never get excited about car maintenance, but I was happy to have Les Schwab's customer service. read more

It is extremely hard to skip out on a place that I have trusted for so many years that is extremely close to my house. I decided to bite the bullet and went back to this Les Schwab first for tire rotations and then for a major shock repair. I could tell that things have definitely improved since my last dismal experience. What impressed me the most was on a Saturday almost a half-hour after closing time, an employee who was on his way out took the time to stop and help me get my truck back, which I had dropped off earlier that day. My 16-year-old daughter got a flat on her Mustang while it was snowing Saturday December 11th. I rushed over to help her and got the spare put on. I took the tire with the flat over to Les Schwab at 5:10. A boy came out and informed me that they closed at 5. I asked if I could just use the compressor. This kid looks at me and says "Our compressors are off for the night". I look over at the open bay and can clearly see someone putting on a tire using an air impact gun - using air. So I walk over and politely ask, can I use one of your hoses to put some air in this tire. The man says "I can't help you, I'm taking care of someone else" and walks away. That's the kinds of experiences I have had here. read more

I am older woman whose husband is no longer able to care for our car. We tried to get service here, but the people here were very rude and treated me like I could not understand what they were saying. Between the behavior of the staff and that they did not follow any of the safety precautions for the corona virus I did not feel respected nor safe enough to get service here. Very unprofessional... Stopped by with my mom to donate some food for the donation bins they have in the lobby and parked out front to get in and out as quick as possible whilst still leaving room for cars to get in and out. This technician started backing out a customer's car from the service bay and looked disappointed that he had to reverse an extra time and quickly flipped me off while passing by to go park the vehicle in the back, he then started walking back to the service bays while shaking his head. I then got out of the vehicle shouting at him but he kept walking away. I then later found out his name was spencer. Can't believe people like this can be hired, very pathetic to see this behavior from little spencer. read more

I went in for a tire rotation, my tires are 3 years and 1 was replaced last year because it blew and couldn't be fixed. They didn't want to give me much for the warranty and I had to fight for a fair price which was eventually given to me by the manager. After this year's rotation they told me I needed new tires and new front brakes. Tyler was extremely rude and told me it would be 600$ for new front brakes. Then he told me I wouldn't get much money towards new tires from the warrenty. He didn't not seem to care when I told him one of the tires was only one year old. I have only driven 30,000 miles on these tires that have a 50,000 mile warranty. I called Midas and got new front brakes for $170 and I feel like they will honor their warranty better than this company. read more

I brought my car in for a patch in a slow-leaking rear tire. While I was waiting, I overheard an older man talking with one of the team -- he needed, but could not afford, a new tire. As he was on his way out, the team asked him to wait and began calling all their other stores in the area, hoping they could find the older man a cheaper used tire... but they were unable to locate one. Instead of letting the man go on a bad tire, one of the managers donated him a brand-new tire for free. (additionally, they didn't ask me to pay the standard $25 for patching MY tire) I tell ya - this is what I love about Boise. Eric (manager) and Zak (team member) acted out of sheer kindness to help this man... and for that they have forever earned my future business, and hopefully the business of anyone who takes the time to read this review. read more

I got a flat tire yesterday after all tire shops had already closed so this morning I went to Les Schwab to get the tire patched on my way to work. I showed up 5 min before they opened and the mechanic, I believe his name was Skylar, came to my car door a minute before opening to help me. He asked me how long I had before I needed to leave for work, I told him 20 minutes and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I got a quote for all season tires for my other vehicle and the service representative and the mechanic were both awesome! There was no charge to patch my tire because they were able to fix it! I've never heard of not getting charged before. I will be back soon for new tires on my other vehicle and for future oil changes! Thanks for the quick and professional customer service! read more

I had to leave my car for several hours today to have a flat fixed. So why, you say, would I give them 5 stars for having to wait? Because the fact that they even got to it with the load of cars they had today was amazing to me. It appeared that every car in Meridian and environs was there to have their studded tires put on. Now since I have a Subaru, I haven't switched tires for years. I just wanted the not so slow leak fixed. The guys in the bays said it has been like today since the snow last Thursday. I sympathized with them and asked if it got a little exhausting to be get there at 0700 and not leave until the cars were done? Yes, he said, it will be after 2000 before they are done tonight. So working in that cold for over 12 hours gets my "At a Boy/Man." This is probably the newest Schwab store around here and has the obligatory free popcorn, free WiFi, and clean rest rooms. And to boot, they didn't charge for the tire repair. I don't think I have ever paid for a flat repair from Schwab. Great policy. I would dock a half point if there was a 4.5 score because they, like so many businesses in Meridian and Boise, they haven't plowed the sidewalks on their property. Isn't there an ordinance requiring sidewalk clearing in so many hours? If not, there should be. But there isn't a 4.5 stars, I think a 5 star is still warranted. read more

My universal axles on my Tacoma went out yesterday so I did some price comparing. When I called Les Schwab they were very respectful and honest, and with awesome prices compared to the competitors. Tom worked on my Tacoma and did a flawless job. He showed me the parts that went out and explained every nook and cranny of the system. Not only did he replace the parts for a great price (which took all day), he UPGRADED my universal axle system to make my truck more reliable and properly lubricated on the joint! I understand that Les Schwab can be on the high side For tires and automotive services. But the customer service in this particular shop is outstanding! When you have a flat tire they take care of you right away with a smile.. For free! It truly makes me think of them for replacement tires even though they are more expensive. What was going to be a $1200 small hole turned into a free flat tire repair and a boatload of stress lifted off my shoulders. Woman at the front desk (brown hair) is extremely unfriendly and was acting like she was pissed off that she was working.... who wants to interact with that. Didn't give any type of quote time or information on how long the wait would be. An hour into sitting in the waiting room I've seen 5 different cars get worked on before my simple flat tire. 15 minute fix and situation at every other Les Schwab.... unfortunate that this branch isn't providing the same quality as other locations. This is the only time I've been here so they may be better with different staff but don't come on Monday afternoons.... big yikes read more

I wish I could leave a positive review, but can't. Took my car in to have a patch repair. Skyler showed me that the flat had eaten into the side walls of the tire, but couldn't be replaced. I saw a replacement and was trying to ask questions to understand the scenario. "So it can't be patched?" I asked. He looked at me like I was an idiot and said sarcastically, "No, it can't." I asked him why he was treating me like I was stupid when I was asking for clarification. He said, "Usually when I show them the sidewalls they accept it" and then he continued scolding. "Are you going to keep talking?" I asked. "I'll meet you at the front." Inside I tried to reset and asked him about the steps they had done and if they had found nails/screws (they had). I was able to talk with Eric the manager, and he was much more understanding and talked through any questions I had. I hate going to mechanics/tire repair shops in general, especially for tire patches, and this didn't help. read more

He was dripping sweat, covered in brake dust and dirt from working all day in a hot garage. When I came back to my car after getting groceries this morning at Winco there was a note on my windshield to see my rear passenger tire. It was flat as a pancake!! I buzzed over to the nearest gas station to air it up and then went directly to the Les Schwab across from the speedway. Years ago I went here to have a flat repaired. My blazer was loaded to the gills with camping gear and kiddos. The flat was irreparable and the spare was no better. However, rather than selling me a new set of tires, which, as a single mom there was no way I could afford at the time. They gave me a take off tire that was suitable. Did you catch that....they GAVE it to me, no charge! It only took them less than 30 minutes to get me in and out that morning. What could have really put a hitch in our camping plans was barely a hiccup thanks to Les Schwab! I was equally pleased this morning. The shop was busy but the front end folks were quick and efficient and still quite friendly! I was in and out in under 20 min. They plugged the hole left by a small nail and again didn't charge me! I hate the tires that came with the Forrester when I purchased it and as soon as they are worn enough to replace I bet you can guess who will get my business!! Fantastic job, Les Schwab! So I went to Les Schwab today to change from my winter tires to my summer tires. Last year I bought tires and when I was sold on the tires the rep explained there wouldn't be a cost for swapping over the tires and that is why I was bought the more expensive ones. So you could imagine how upset I was today when I was told it would be a $79 charge to swap. And if my tire was bigger than 17 inch tire my cost would be $99. I felt I was mislead in the future cost just to sell a tire and all the other services that comes with buy with Les Swab. As I was waiting I called Commercial Tire and and they said regardless of where I bought the tire, a winter tire change over cost would be $53. I told the Les Schwab rep to stop and give me my keys because they just lost a client and went a block a way to Commercial Tire. What they don't realize is that I have a couple other automobiles that need this service done and also will need new tires later this year. I the industry I am in I have a network of over 8000 people in the Treasure Valley I work with and I will definitely be posting my experience on social media. It's not that I could not afford the cost but during these times where there are many consumers out of work every dollar counts. So I will be recommending Commercial Tire because they are more affordable and willing to help he local consumer. read more

Very disappointed in Les schwab. We bought new tires for our Jeep from another tire place. My husband called and gave them specific tire measurements on the tires we bought and that we needed them changed out. A quote was given 137$. When we got to the store we were then told it would be a 100$ more than what the quote was by phone. Left there went to Discount tire and it was 77$. So we will not be recommending les schwab to any family or friends. Discount tire has all our tire buisness. read more

Amazing service until it wasn't. They misdiagnosed a car I was going to buy or thinking of buying. Turned out the car needed thousands of dollars of work underneath from front to back. Ruben, the guy that inspected it said it just might need some struts and shocks because they were original and 3 new tires, but it turns out that it needed absolutely everything plus a fouth Tire. This was found by the tech that pulled it in to fix the struts and shocks. I would have never bought this car if he had not misdiagnosed vehicle. I'm still waiting for them to take off struts and shocks and tires off my bill. They come to me for a lot of things and a lot of work, but they need to comp me the rest of the way because this is 100% not my fault. I have been a customer for well over 20 years and my family as well, and I feel like they should stand by their motto " Doing the right thing since 1952." I'm still waiting to hear back from corporate headquarters about the rest of a refund. Hopefully this will be resolved without me having to take them to court. read more

Came in today, said i need an alignment done. I explained i worked in less than 5mins and that id be back to grab my vehicles during lunch. The (girl and boy) at tge desk said yes that will work. I just went to grab my car and they are closed! No call! no heads up! NOTHING! My house is 20 miles out! Also MY CAR WAS UNLOCKED IN THE PARKING LOT BY ITS SELF! Less Schwab made it vary clear, that they do not care for the customer, and their vehicle! I have vidio proof that my car was unlocked! Vary displeased! Fed up with Less Schwab treating me poorly everytime im in. Hope it gose out of business, and they get something more descent in, INCLUDING the employees. read more

I went in to get my flat tire replaced and Eric told me that because I had all wheel drive I had to get 4 new tires not just the 1. I told him that I would just go somewhere else for a second opinion because I had just gotten all new tires 6 months ago, and he shot me a dirty look and said okay. He brought my car around and before he handed me my keys (while I was holding my 14 month old baby) he looked at my daughter and said 'good luck leaving here little girl, both of your front tires are going to pop.' That comment was so aggressive and unnecessary I was in shock. Because he couldn't sell me 4 new tires when I only needed 1 he tried to intimidate me and threatened my daughter. Les schwab is clearly not the family friendly and dependable establishment they say they are if that's how they conduct business. I will never return to this location because of Eric and probably will never walk into a Les Schwab again. read more
