I took a fleet vehicle here because the battery kept dying. The staff told me the battery was the problem and said they would replace it with a "better one." I waited nearly three hours for the work to be completed. After leaving, I drove about 30 minutes and parked the truck. When I returned, the truck would not start. After jump-starting it, I discovered that the positive battery terminal was loose. I called Les Schwab and explained what I found. They told me to bring the vehicle back. During the conversation, I asked whether they had tested the charging system before replacing the battery, and they told me they had not. Based on this experience, I would not recommend taking fleet vehicles here. The repair appears to have been rushed, the battery terminal was left loose, and the charging system was never properly diagnosed before the battery was replaced. read more

Definitely never coming back i am beyond irritated with this location, i called in advance to make an appointment to get two new tires. I gave the lady on the phone my car information and they even charged me 50$ to order in the tires. I come in and apparently due to their policy they cannot change two tires it would have to be all four. I told the employee, why couldn't they have told me an advance so i can go somewhere else and not waste my time. I even missed work today to come in. he did apologize but its such an inconvenience that the person who was on the phone did not tell me in advance. read more

One star because we needed to click on one to review, they would have 0 stars.... We got a blowout on the freeway, drove here since we always do business with Les Schwab. At this spot, Diego told us he can take us and we're the third in line. An hour later, we go in to check status and he said there were 7 cars ahead of me. We said you told us we're the third car and he denied saying that and said it would take another two hours. We went next door to Americas Tires and they got us in right away and had it done within 45 minutes and for $100 LESS! They were fantastic and we made sure they knew why we went to them. He mentioned a lot of Les Schwab customers go to them, he's heard the same complaints. So when we went back in to let Les Schwab know to cancel the service because they were done next door, Diego shook his head and made a very rude gesture to disregard us. I bought 4 tires because you wouldn't sell me only 1 to replace the flat tire being an all wheel drive . The car was 12 months old and 3 tires all had less then 15K miles . You promised if I bought 4 you would send the 3 good tires which wouldn't fit in my car to my home les Schwab dealer so when I needed new tires I would only need to buy 1. Went to Les Schwab's in Ceres very recently and had a really good experience for a tire rotation and checkup. Originally we were scheduled for 11:30 but due to a change in our schedule, we arrived at 8:30 and they let us get in the que. After breakfasting on a delicious McDonalds sausage McMuffin with egg, we returned shortly, slipped right into our spot, and were out in half an hour. I came out of work at 5:10pm on a Tuesday evening a couple weeks ago and noticed a nail wedged in my tire. I attempted to shimmy it out, but quickly realized it was in there pretty good... I still had to pick up my toddler from her child care... It was now 5:30 and I was searching for a tire repair shop close to where I was driving. I found that this Les Scwab Tire Center in Ceres was open until 6pm. I went in, toddler in tow, and explained to Josh (working the front desk) that I had a nail in my tire and I was concerned about not taking care of it right away. Josh was super friendly and immediately jumped in to action. He had someone pull my vehicle in to one of the open bays and examined the nail/damage. Josh confirmed that the nail had in fact caused a puncture, but he reassured me they could fix the problem. I had just bought my car less than two weeks prior and realized I had left the wheel locks in a box in my garage. It was now 5:45pm and I told Josh I did not have the wheel locks handy. I asked if I could have my husband bring them to the store for me. Josh said absolutely- without hesitation... With traffic it took my husband 15 minutes to get to my location. So shortly after 6pm, when the business was supposed to be closed, my husband showed up with the wheel locks. I rushed them into the guy who was helping me with my vehicle (sorry- didn't catch his name). I stood at the counter and asked Josh if I could go ahead and pay for the service so that I didn't take up any more of their time. Then Josh told me that the service was free! I was shocked! First, I felt bad that I came in so late in the day, then I kept multiple people over their closing time to help with my vehicle, and now they tell me that the service they provided is free?!... I couldn't believe it. I felt really guilty, but was so thankful for all they had done for me. Within minutes they had removed my tire, took it apart, patched up the puncture, and put my tire back on and had it as good as new... I expressed my gratitude and by 6:20pm I was on my way home... The service and attitudes were unbelievable- in the best way possible! At no time did one single person who was working display any type of negative vibe or frustration towards me for causing them to stay past closing time. They were all very gracious and kind. To show my appreciation- I had 3 large pizzas delivered to them the following day. It was the right thing to do!! read more

It was a Wednesday afternoon and my family members were going on a long trip in there rv before taking off we checked the tire pressure on the rear tires and the outer tires were super low then we noticed the inner rv rear tires did not have valve extenders which made it very difficult to air them up we stopped at Les Schwab at 5:40 pm and was treated very kindly by Quade he said he would take care of us and ohh boy he did ! With the help of Jeff who was the hero and aired up the rear tires for us . I'm so thankful because they took care of us so kindly rite before they were closing and we probably would have had no other choice if they would have denied us . When my low tire pressure light came on, Les Schwab was the closest shop. I had never been and was loyal to another shop. I stopped in and was greeted right away and was told my car would be ready within 30 min. They found a screw lodged in my tire, fixed it and didn't charge me! I have taking both my cars to Les Schwab one of my cars 2 times and my other car 1 to them. They are honest they will help you immediately. They will not lie to you. I have never had to take my car back to them to refix something. I have not had to take my car somewhere else to be refixed they are reliable ,honest, and very reasonable in price I will and have recommended them to friends and family. The one on Hatch in Modesto is the best. I bring my company car here all the time. They have great service especially if you purchase their tires. Love their lifetime warranty on them!! I popped by tires a couple of times and they were able replace them pretty quickly. Also, we get complementary tire rotation as well. We purchased new tires for the truck from Les Schwab in Idaho before leaving on this trip. On hwy 99 our tow vehicle right tire blew. Luckily we exited safely to the next exit and iunhitched. Les Schwab definitely stands up to their reputation! My daughter is a new driver and had a flat tire yesterday on her way to work. I've dealt with Les Schwab for all my vehicle needs so I quickly called them. It was about an hour before Les schwab closed and they still came to our rescue! Josh was quick to help, he came out in a service truck and put on her spare tire. He even followed us back to the shop to make sure we made it safe. We had a whole set of tires put on and he also inspected the brakes and suspension parts to make sure the car was safe. The whole process only took about an hour, from the time I called to the time we walked out the door! The customer service here is amazing and you can tell they really care about their customers! Frightfully bad and incompetent customer service. I had used Les Schwab in Nevada, Oregon and California...note the word had. First, I've found that it is a huge runaround to get the company to uphold their warranty. It seems in their view the customer has done something to void their guarantees. Anyhow, I had my car worked on in another state and my mechanic had purchased a battery for me. My car had been running great but went to start it and the battery was dead dead....brought it in..they tested it, charged it and concluded it was a lemon battery... now is when it gets unacceptable. They have already wasted two hours of my time...they don't have the right battery but will upgrade me for a fee....aside from that hey can't find any of my transactions with their company...essentially I was told they needed to look up the receipt and excuse excuse excuse... so now.i drive to the shop AGAIN...show them the original receipt and get a replacement...3-4 hours of my time wasted. not recommended. never again. not for tires not for batteries...not for service. read more

Clean store and nice waiting area...where you'll likely spend a good part of your day if you're not among the first in line at 8:00 a.m. Appointment times don't have any priority so don't bother. Best to drop car off early, have someone pick you up and wait for them to call you when ready. Tires I have purchased there have been great but if you make an appointment for a tire rotation and still have to wait over an hour...I gave up after an hour and 15 minutes as they hadn't even pulled my car into a bay...then I rather pay to get it done during an oil change. I will only go to this location after I had a warranty issue with my tires. They were able to look at my vehicle, determine that it was nothing that would compromise safety, and promised to fix any problem if one should arrise. They do excellent brake and tire service, I've yet to need my struts serviced but I would gladly take it to them. The price is higher than most places, but if you are anywhere in the western United States they will honor your warranty and the warranties are comprehensive. Plus all the products they sell are good quality. It's worth every penny. read more

Time for 2 front tires n I called around for pricing and guess what? Schwab was a bit less than WalMart and $100 per tire cheaper than America's Tire. Just saying. Reluctantly I dropped the car off and waited at home. Good thing too cos it wasn't ready until they were going to alarm the joint for the night! But guess what? The same car I was told in July of 2016 when it had under 20K on it, needed four new shocks, a sway bar, and 4 tires: all of which I declined and took my car elsewhere. Now with 55k more miles on it, low and behold it needed nothing! AMAZING! You have restored my faith! It seems as tho they have straightened out the concept of 'upselling' to their staff, and/or have staff of better morals. I hope they stop upselling people. It's gross. Btw, The tires are fantastic! Terrible customer service.... first day It took them 2 hours to rotate the front tires and change 1 back tire. I made arrangements to come back the next day between 11:30-12;00 to drop of my vehicle for work to be done and I would pick it up between 3:30-4:00. Mechanic said that's fine. The following day I drop off vehicle remind them of the arrangements that I was told was ok. I called at 3:30 to find out the status of pick up. I was told there was 1 more ticket in front of my car. Mechanic was behind. They hadn't even started it!! Told them I was on my way to pick it up. Got there.. asked for my keys. They didn't apologize they didn't try to even make anything better. Just handed me the keys and turned around. All those commercials about Les Schwab... it's not the one on Hatch Rd in Ceres. 3 days later... I take my vehicle to another shop And they send me a picture ... Les Schwab put the wrong size tire on my vehicle !!! read more
