The jets aren't just for looks--they actually do the job. The layout is comfortable, and the therapy seat in particular is a standout. After a long day, it hits exactly where you need it to. What's really impressed me is how easy it's been to take care of. With the Spa Boy and Smart PH system, we've gone over two months without adding chemicals or cleaning the filters. That's been a pleasant surprise and makes ownership a whole lot easier than I expected. Delivery and setup were smooth and everything was handled professionally. Some were large corporations and some smaller operations. Most estimates came in very close in price. To me price was not the number one factor, after reading reviews and talking to people in the industry, we chose to go with So Cal Custom Pools. I was very impressed with Jimi and how everything from start to finish was handled. Little things to me are important, like show up when you say you will, complete a job to the best of your ability. Jimi showed up every time when he said he would, the pool was completed on time and looks amazing. I would always know when someone was coming to the house, I received either a call of text prior to someone showing up. We started with demo, the demo crew removed all the old plaster, tile and cooping, when the crew was completed the yard was swept and cleaned after. Everything looked clean and the crew took pride in the work. Next we had the tile and coping installed. I did have 2 small change orders. I changed the water feature and had the tile guys do a little more work than was originally expected. This was the only increase to the pricing and everything else came out exactly as expected. Once the tile and coping were installed the pebble was installed. The crew showed up and completed this in the morning. As soon as the plaster was completed we started to fill the pool immediately. The employees are helpful, but I often have to ask questions and ask for explanation/clarification. Leslie's carries a variety of pool and spa essentials. They also offer free in-store water testing and free in-store labor on repairs. I recommend having your water tested, especially during the warm/busy summer months. For in-store repairs, you just pay for parts. Sweet deal, but parts can be pricey. Like every other store, Leslie's has a rewards program; Leslie's Rewards Program. They offer special offers and savings...haven't seen any, yet. I signed up a year ago and during my recent visit the employee was unable to locate my account so my purchase didn't count for rewards credit. If you are new to the pool/spa community (like me) go to their website for wonderful resources. There's information about algae, chemicals, pool pumps, and pool safety...happy reading.
