I was so excited to try this place after seeing all the online hype and boy was I disappointed when we walked in the first thing I noticed was that it looked like a fast food joint with no ambiance. A bowl of Big bone pho, which is what I went there to try was $30 so I went with the brisket pho instead and it was not that great to be honest but what really upset me about this place was that we were a party of 4 and we met accidentally ran into a friend on the way inside and she joined us but what we didn't know was that they add a gratuity automatically on parties of 5 or more which is usually the standard for 8 or more at most restaurants but 5! First time here and love it. I had the PHỜ CHÍN which is Brisket and Flank, (good amount of) and it has such a delicious beef broth. I like their container with 4 different sauces/condiments you can add to your Pho. The employees are great, I was with my cousin and niece who is 4. They were so sweet to my niece when she ordered and when she dropped her napkin. The place is very clean and they are organized in getting people seated. Our Pho came out quick. Honestly, there was so much food that you could easily order extra rice noodles and share this! If you want everything cooked and served in a bowl, you can order the "Pho it Up". It has everything, similar to a pho dac biet. The Big Bone Soup was another huge monstrousness. This is slow cooked bone marrow pho. The "Pho for you" option allow you to customize your pho bowl. The house special rice was quality and came with pork chop, fried egg, and Vietnamese sausage. My 11 year old son enjoyed and demolished this big plate of food. Found this brand new Vietnamese place on St. Rose during a random restaurant search on Yelp. Consuming Vietnamese food is quite a rarity for me so I was excited about what to expect from this place. We walked in and it was very busy. But since there were two of us and a table of two was open right next to the entrance, we were seated right away. Though there was a QR code that we could scan on our phones to view the menu, we were also given physical menus. They had a lot of coffee choices on their menu, but I had to skip them because I tend to get no sleep if I drink coffee at night. The bowls are big, the taste is very good. I guess my only complaint is that you seem to get very little meat compared to other pho places. Large amount of noodles and vegetables which makes it a great dish and the prices are not bad, I just would not pay the extra money for meat as they seem to not give you that much. The dish I had was very good, the place was empty when I first got there but filled up quickly as 6pm approached. It's not much of an exaggeration to say that I could eat pho almost every day, which made it all the more surprising that I hadn't gone out for a nice hot, steaming bowl of pho goodness in almost 6 months. I broke that streak by having lunch at Let's Get Pho and following up that visit a couple of weeks later with my wife and a friend visiting from out of town. Like seemingly most every pho joint, Let's Get Pho is in a strip mall. The dining room is comparatively small compared to many of its competitors, but on both lunchtime visits, once midweek and another on a Saturday, there was a table immediately available. On both visits, I ordered the Spring Roll ($10) and the Pho It Up ($20) served with thinly sliced eye round steak, beef tendon, beef balls, tripe, braised brisket, and flank. On both visits, I found the spring roll to be flavorful, made with fresh ingredients, but a bit dry with the rice paper wrapper being more al dente than others I've had. It wasn't bad by any means, but I have had others that I've enjoyed more. My Pho It Up, however, was one of the better bowls of pho that I can remember having in years perhaps ever. The beef broth was darker in color, but not cloudy or murky. It possessed wonderful beefiness that was perfectly balanced by the requisite pho spices. The rice vermicelli was cooked to the proper doneness and the bowl was filled with a generous amount of beef, offal, and meatballs. In terms of price, the Pho It Up seemed pricier than most comparable bowls of pho that I've had, but I thought that, for the most part, it lived up to its premium price. Let's Get Pho did well in providing consistent quality and service on both of my visits. In my mind, it's probably in my top 3 for a bowl of beef pho. Just discovered this place. Normally I drive to Pho Sigon 8 when I'm in the mood. They have been consistently good over the years, and worth the drive. Now this new place, closer to me is a close second. It's a small family friendly restaurant that offers table for two or more.
