This rating a solely on the Vietnamese sandwiches. I have not tried the pho here. I would say this place has one of the best sandwiches in town, particularly cold cut special sandwich (Bánh Mì Thịt Nguội / Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt). It's not too common for a restaurant to have this as an option either! It's one of the more traditional types of Vietnamese sandwich and has Vietnamese style cold cuts/deli meat and pâté. The sandwiches are always super fresh and are a good portion size. The baguette is always super light, crispy, and fresh. I've also tried the grilled pork sandwich and it's also very good. The meat is super flavorful, tender, and fresh. The veggies inside the sandwich make it a great meal. I always make a point to stop you when I'm on this side of town. The service is always super friendly and there's plenty of seating. It's in order building, but seems clean inside. Definitely give this place a try, especially if you're craving a good Vietnamese sandwich!

Sweetest staff and delicious grilled pork Bahn mi, the bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the pork was saucy, smoky, and delicious (+ cute wrapping paper) 10/10

Came here for lunch two days ago. It is a solid pho place outside of the strip. The price is a little high but you do get a huge bowl of pho. Broth is very flavorful you can taste the herbs and spices and it's served very hot. Meat is cooked well, decent portions. They also give chili flakes sauce which is nice. Bathroom is a little dirty. Plenty of parking and lots of seats, didn't have much of a line during the afternoon. Overall 7.3/10, would come again!

They really make the best pho soup in town. I've been to so many in this town. I've been in Vegas since 2000, and so far, THIS place wins. The answer, is in their broth. You will see what I'm talking about. Grilled chicken roll is also great. You won't be sorry.

Food: simple Vietnamese dishes. Good Pho Broth which is the best indicator for quality authentic dishes. This restaurant uses thicker Pho noodles. Service: attentive staff Ambience: good spacings and comfortable vibe

They say soup is a spouse and pho is a lover. And that's true on this out of the way gem near UNLV just half a block from where the 201 & 109 bus routes meet. The atmosphere is bright, and the service very friendly. All the traditional things are here: pho, rice bowls, noodle bowls, and banh mi. My pho was flavorful & full of various cuts of beef. Mom's noodle bowl was big enough to take home for leftovers. And everything was spot on. As of 31 Oct 2025, the price point was around $20, and a pitcher of ice water was served up before we had a chance to order. As far as Vietnamese cuisine goes, these folks have got it going on. Enjoy!

The food is so tasty. The beef was flavorful, thick cut of what I think is flank steak, generous serving of rice, two eggs, salad, cheese pickled onions and carrots, pho broth and sauce. So plenty of food. Service was great because everyone was very sweet. The restaurant was packed and they were short staffed but still handled it well. The place was clean. Overall I recommend!

I haven't been here since I went to UNLV for my Undergrad which was 3 years ago. And I'm so glad my husband and I went! I forgot how much I love the food at this Vietnamese restaurant. The menu isn't extensive but it's enough to fulfill your cravings. Service was great, the food was served piping hot and prices are aren't that bad too!

I was in town for a day and near UNLV for an event. I felt like a quick banh mi for lunch and a jolt of Vietnamese coffee. Yelped this spot that got a decent amount of reviews. Totally worth visiting this stripmall spot. I decided instead to get a grilled chicken rice plate because it looked better in the photos. Not bad. I've had better. The chicken a little bit rubbery, but flavors were there and they had the typical fish sauce side along with the pickled carrots and daikon. They give you a nice complimentary small soup which hit the spot. And my Vietnamese was nice and strong and creamy. Overall, food ok. Yet, the reason I gave them 4 stars was for the service. The waitress was very friendly and eager to please. The staff was quick to serve water and handout utensils. They check on you and ask in a pleasant way if everything is ok. If I'm in the area again, I definitely would come back and try other things on the menu.

    Grilled pork Banh Mi

I went in and tried the grilled pork Banh Mi and it was so good. One of the best I've had in this city (I've tried a lot). The bread was perfectly crisp and soft, the meat had an amazing grilled flavor and they didn't skimp out at all (much more meat than other spots), and the rest of the toppings were so balanced. Somehow that wasn't even the best part. The woman who greeted me was so nice. She made me feel very welcome and even brought me ice water cause it's so hot outside. I didn't eat inside, but the look of the place was very cozy and warm. I will be coming back. Probably tomorrow even.

I was craving Pho on a cold day and this place was closest with decent reviews so I decided to try it. It is in a strip mall located close to UNLV. You enter into a brightly lit restaurant and I was greeted quickly. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet with beef to go. It was still hot when I reached the house and had everything I ordered packaged up nicely. I didn't find the broth to be as rich and it lacked the umami I am used to getting in other pho restaurants. The portion was large, the vegetables were quite fresh and the beef was very tender. The price was a bit more than I am used to paying. I just wish the broth was more flavorful and probably won't return due to that.

We absolutely loved our experience at Pho Thanh Huong! The food was sooo delicious.....we finished every single dish! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The lady (I think her name is Geeh, possibly the owner) was incredibly sweet, always smiling, and so polite. Her warm hospitality made the meal even better. We don't even mind driving all the way from Aliante just to eat here, the food and service are totally worth it! Definitely one of our new favorite spots!

Great Vietnamese restaurant, went by for quick lunch, table of 8, This restaurant located across the street from UNLV. Went in during lunch rush, the place can get packed Love their dishes, the pork chop is well marinated, the rice is cooked perfectly, it's not over cooked or dried. Fresh veggies. Good selection of menus. I'm looking forward to try others on their menu.

It's one of those longtime neighborhood spots that's built a loyal following over the years. The menu focuses on traditional dishes, everything is well prepared and authentic. Flavor-wise it's good, though not the best Vietnamese food I've had, especially compared to what you'd find in SoCal. The last time I was here I got the bun rieu and it was ok, not my favorite version of the dish. I'd stick to the pho which feels like a safer choice here and more in line with what they do best. The space itself is spacious and casual. Back in the day, I would have considered this a solid 'cheap eats' option, but that's no longer the case. Like everywhere else in Vegas, prices feel high for what you get. That said, service was good, the staff was efficient, and the food came out quickly. Overall, it's a reliable choice for quality Vietnamese food that I'll keep in my rotation.

I remember their pho being much better before. I normally order pho tai but went with Shaking Beef Pho this time. Prices have for sure gone up! $25 for a bowl of pho that barely tasted like pho!! This one adds some sate or chili in it but it still lacked any of the pho spice flavors. One of my friends also ordered this as well and agreed. My other friend ordered the Oxtail Pho. I tried a sip of his broth and it was the same. No pho spices at all. It's already a bad sign when you walk into a pho spot or when they bring the bowls out and you don't smell the aroma of pho. My friend's oxtail wasn't even cooked long enough. The pros: the noodles were cooked perfectly and the shaking beef in the pho was tender. Our server was also nice. Not sure if maybe it was just an off day or maybe they were still making the broth and forgot the spice. Idk but I will be choosing a different pho restaurant next time I'm in Vegas
