I tried Lettuce Eat for the first time today and am SO impressed! Their daily/weekly menu is available online (FB), it was recommended to me by a coworker. I'm on the Keto/low carb diet so ordering out is always a bit complicated, NOT HERE! I went with the Italian Artisan salad, it was $9 with home made dressing and a bottle of water delivered. No extra fee for delivery (as long as two or more orders are placed for the same location) was added on which is unheard of around here and an amazing bonus especially when you come to work unprepared or just don't want to leave to grab food & lose your parking space! I wasn't sure what to expect since I hadn't ordered before (size, flavor, speed of delivery, etc.) but it all blew me away! I ordered around 8:10am and the food was delivered at 10:15am. The gal who delivered was friendly and quick, I paid with a card & within 2 minutes I was back upstairs working. Each order was in its own brown bag with the person's name and order written out. It came with plastic cutlery, the dressing in a small container wrapped in a baggie for leakage protection, and a frozen bottle of water. THIS SERVICE IS AMAZING. Oh, and the food is fantastic! They let me customize my salad to exclude the beans/chickpeas (not Keto friendly) and instead they amped up the meat & cheese & onions for me. The salad itself is very large, fresh and crisp, and they use REAL shaved Parmesan and thick sliced salami. The dressing is phenomenal, and they gave plenty of it! I was VERY happy with today's order and experience, and look forward to placing additional orders in the future and trying different items on the menu. Fantastic service, fantastic food. By far the most well-oiled food prepping machine I've come across in years. You cannot find a more friendly staff who are easy to communicate with, accepts all major forms of payments (cash/card/check/Venmo), and delivery right to your door or place of work. Their staple salads as well as seasonal salads are killer and can easily serve two people (or one person two meals), and their rotated keto and non-keto menu make daily meals more enjoyable than most have time for. Honestly I love this place , I love the food BUT whoever works the phone should be put to stir the sauces instead. Super unprofessional and zero customer service skills. We have been ordering for YEARS, 5+ orders every other day. We canceled 2 orders and all of a sudden "this happens again we won't be delivering to you anymore" but when they forget our order, mess up our order, or put two pieces of ham on our chef salad. My co-workers and I absolutely love ordering from them at least once a week. They have a variety of salads and homemade dressings to choose from. One salad is good enough for at least two days worth of food or big enough to share with someone. $7.00 for a salad and a water ? You cannot beat that. My coworker noticed that on Facebook they have a weekly entrée menu where they have a different entrée, salad, and water all for $7.00. The Mac & Cheese is homemade and is soo delicious. I cant wait to try more from the menu. They also have chili verde, shrimp pasta, chicken lo mien, and other options on certain days. They update the menu every week. They are so awesome. My order was accidently switched and they came and brought me my order. Some places do not care about fixing the customers orders but they genuinely care about their customers. Not willing to correct mistakes! I made a large order and miscalculated the total that I payed through Venmo. Instead of notifying me that I was a few dollars off, they just didn't include one of the meals. When I contacted them about the problem, which was still early, I was notified that they thought I ordered one less meal and the extra was a tip. My order was very clear and could not be mistaken for one less order! I was also notified the driver could not deliver the extra meal and that I would be given a credit for next time, not even a refund for the extra I paid! There will not be a next time so I guess I'm just out the money. Very disappointed. We have had bad experiences with them before but this one is the final one. Their salads are great but I choose not to order from people who don't value their customers. I ordered a salad and it was delivered with the dressing spilled all over the bag. It was italian dressing which means, oil all over! When I took the bag the dressing spilled all over my dress and hands. The only response I received was "Oh sorry, something went wrong with your dressing", as I went to clean myself up. When I returned she was gone and the bag was still sitting on the counter. I took the bag, cleaned off the counter and spent another 5 minutes of my 30 minute lunch cleaning it's contents so I could eat part of the salad. (One of my coworkers gave me their dressing...otherwise I guess I would have eaten a dry salad??) Then...she texted for payment. LOL I reminded her of the mess and that there was no dressing left. She said, "The salad was still edible!" She didn't offer to bring another dressing, take half off of the price, nothing! I am extremely disappointed because I was looking forward to my meals all week. I ordered on Tuesday for a delivery on Thursday in which they asked what time I would like it delivered they then gave me a window of another time which was not feasible for me. I continued with the order trying to be flexible, but figured out I could not get there at the delivery time. I let the number I ordered from know and they just said maybe next time... there goes my meals for the the next three days. I was looking forward to integrating their meals into my weekly routine at least three times per week. Such a great idea, but poor execution.
