My partner and I got takeout for lunch, nutella crepe, chicken schwarma crepe and 2 turkish coffees which I went in to order. This place definitely feels authentic and the gentlemen behind the counter (perhaps the owner?) was friendly and welcoming. The coffees and chicken schwarma crepe were fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The Nutella crepe was fine - pretty standard nutella with banana and strawberries. The only thing to keep in mind here is that the service is a bit slow so drop by when you have some time to wait for your food or maybe call ahead if they take phone orders. Personally, I don't really consider this a deal breaker or reason for a lower rating, but it is mentionable in such a fast paced area. read more

Cute & comfortable cafe new to Issaquah in the Gilman Village near Lucky Homes. Nutella crepe was very good, also the Labne pita sandwich, fresh tasting. Star & cheese sandwich was too much zatar, way too much. Turkish coffee, after the initial shock is good. Ask for more hot water as you finish it. Turkish coffee is almost $10 so it's a treat. I like supporting small business and Levant cafe in Issaquah's charming Gilman Village is one that I'll come back to. First time going to Levant and I was happy with the service. The hot chocolate and savory halloumi crepe was delicious. The staff/owner was friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was bright, spacious, clean and a great place to meet friends. Their selection of savory and sweet dishes is great. The ingredients they use taste clean and fresh. Update: I have gone here twice already and I still stand by my first impression. Stopped here for a to go order. Husband's hummus and pita plate: Hummus mediocre at best, pita stale and hard. My chicken shawarma crepe: could only eat a little. The food here was pretty good and I like that they have products at the front and how they've transformed the inside from the business before them. I also liked that I could see them making the food and that they put whole ingredients into the food they were making. I happened to be nearby so decided to try this place out. (Was expecting to come to Bloom Juice but apparently it is now replaced by Levant Cafe.) The Milk Tea with condensed milk is quite good. The Kibbeh with Pita and Hummus is delicious. Just a light bite but very flavorful. Service is very friendly and prompt. Also love the openness of the place with nice Middle Eastern vibe and decor. We happened upon this place as we were strolling through Gilman Village. We weren't hungry at the time so we ordered their Baba Ghanoush, Turkish Coffee, and Hot Tea. All were delicious. I was at Gilman village shopping, came upon what it used to be to be a smoothie store , and now is a crepe restaurant. I walk in there as a gentleman was ordering in front of me. There are3 LCD monitors on the right for menus adjacent to the counter. It looks like a small restaurant run by family. The decoration has some Turkish decorations. The seating area is very spacious. It also has a skylight in the ceiling. I ordered an Italian soda and a chocolate crepe with bananas and strawberries. I pick one of the tables underneath the skylight. While I was waiting for my food and drink, I realized there are some ants crawling on the table and when they are getting close to me I flicked them away. Minutes later there's a bigger ant coming towards me and I flicked it away too 5 minutes later there's an ant on my arm, I looked up on the skylight, there's a nest of ants on the skylight walking around the entire rim of the skylight and ceiling. It's beyond disgusting! I quickly move myself to one of the side tables near the wall and brush myself, hair, clothes, arms , purse, and also my shopping bags. Hoping nothing follow me home. And as for the crepe, the crepe is good the chocolate is good , but the strawberries and bananas are so thin that you can almost see through. But I think they should fix the ants issue first since it's a restaurant. Nobody like extra protein in their crepes, especially the ones falling from out of no where. read more
