Lata the owner is an excellent stylist. And the price is good. HOWEVER, the salon looks unclean. There's hair all over the floor and on the chairs. It looks like Lata doesn't clean up till the end of the day! Also, she's very bad about returning phone calls. I give her 5 stars on hair styling and 1 star on cleanliness. I started coming here over a year ago for just regular root touch ups and have since gotten cuts and balayage! Karla is my go to but Lata touched up my roots and gave me fresh trim the last time I was there. Always great results and great service! I called to make an appointment for 2:30 on a friday I come in i'm ready and everything latta the owner of level one says sit down make yourself comfortable so i do just that i'm looking around the salon and i notice just how much hair is on the floor they don't clean up after every customer nothing ... not very clean for a salon... but whatever I DONT GET SEATED UNTIL 4:03!!! I was dropped off by my mom and my mother asked what time she should come back at so she isn't late because it is a 15-20 min drive for us and she was like oh come back at like 4:00-4:30 so my mom leaves and she texts me around 3:30 asking if i'm almost done or whats the update i tell her i wasn't even seated yet... that is so unprofessional the fact that they took up my whole day for a stupid color appointment which wasn't worth the $170 (just for color no haircut included) i payed but we will get into that later. I didn't leave the salon until after closing so it was 8:00 when i left and they close at 7 im pretty sure on fridays ... I was going from black hair to brown which i understand is different but why in the world would u tell me to come at that time just for me to wait for 2 hours!!! Karla bleached my hair 2 times it was very orange like very orange I did some research online and saw that it's not supposed to be very orange when you want to go from black to brown bc NOW i have orange red brown hair... its so ugly i hate it so much and i wasted $170!! on bs i texted to ask what to do and i still didn't get a response. over all i don't recommend this place at all go somewhere else where ur money will be worth it bc 10000% it's not worth $170 for come home looking like shit and feeling upset and angry over hair!! a decent amount of my hair has been falling out after every shower:) read more

I went to get a haircut and got layers done from Carla. She was very sweet and a kind hearted person. She gave me tips and tricks on how to blow dry my hair at home. We had a nice conversation while I was there. She's very good at her work and she definitely did an amazing job on my hair. I will also be getting my hair colored by her very soon. Karla is my girl! I came in last week for a haircut, armpit length w/ layers. When I washed my hair that week, I realized I didn't like the length on me. Karla did everything I requested and duplicated the photos I showed her, so it wasn't something that she did. It was moreso something I later on realized didn't fit me/my face personally. So I came in again today for another cut. I showed her photos of a long bob with the shortest length hitting my shoulders and the longest length hitting my collar bone. Best believe she took her time making sure I was satisfied with the cut and thinning out my very thick hair perfectly. I love the look and weight of my new hair and glad I came back to Karla! My appointments were easy to make. I live nearby so I was able to come in on the day I made the appointment, which was a huge plus! The staff are nice and knowledgeable, and love to share tips on how to maintain and style your hair. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Julie and her mom are the best! I use to go to argyle for my hair and was never satisfied ever since i started coming to them for my hair i always leave happy. They know what i want and always hook it up. Everybody there is so kind and friendly and her mom always offer me drinks and food. Lata has been cutting my hair since I was 13 years old (I'm now 25) and also colored/ highlighted my hair until her daughter Julie started working here 2-3 years ago. She is an amazing colorist and pays attention to detail. She is so thoughtful and never disappoints. At this salon you get the full hair experience, which is hard to find nowadays. I think the one who cut my hair was named Carla, I can't remember.. but I desperately needed a haircut and had just got off work not knowing they were closing soon. By the time I got there it was ten minutes till closing and I honestly expected to recieve a half assed rushed cut but the end result was so beautiful I got so many compliments. Since I knew I'd be running errands for my parents prior to the event, I busted up in here, hoping I didn't need an appointment. Thankfully, they told me it'd be no problem...and off to work the nice employee went (I forgot her name, but I swore it began with a B!). She did a wonderful job - flipping out the ends slightly and giving my hair some bounce. I have decided that I don't really like my hair when it's stick straight. Why not have some waves/curls if you can? Once again, I was in love the style of my hair...and wondered why I am not blessed with the ability to use a round brush like that. The salon is small and cozy...and I saw a whole swarm of regulars pop in while I was there. This place has been here forever, so they must do a good job. The best thing are the prices! They only charged me $28 for my blowdry and style! What a steal! (I actually think it's less, but since I have so much hair, they had to up it a little bit. No big.) Julie is the best! I came in with an orange/redish-brown hair color that was grown out and asked for a balayage with blonde. She corrected my hair color, left me with a beautiful ash blonde I'd say. I came in the following month for my second trip towards my goal hence I would love to be close to platnium by the summer, she wanted to save my hair from falling with an opalex treatment which is an additional price and I didn't hear of it before coming (ladies you need it if you colored your hair) and let me tell you it worked wonders and my ends were repaired after the coloring! My color lasted such a long time, I toned it weeks later because blonde comes with lots of maintenance!! It's a love hate relationship lol however I'm very happy and would refer anyone to come in. This is the great place I've ever been for hair cut. Latta and Tina are the best people who knows their job professionally.
