That said, the pizza itself was really good. The crust was thick, salty, and a bit oily in that satisfying way, and the ingredients tasted fresh. One thing to note is the portion size, don't underestimate it. Even a small Detroit-style pizza is dense and can easily feed 2-4 people. I said it before in my review of the other Blue Pan across town but it's quite literally the best pizza I've ever had. My daughter was with me this trip and she's not a fan of thicker pizzas. She ended up eating two pieces herself. You need to go try this place it is just too good to pass up.
