Keep in mind, the quality of Leverocks isn't like you're paying $80 a plate. So my reviews are for quality and price. Leverocks is so reasonably priced, and the quality of the food that relates to its price point is excellent. I ordered fish and chips for $15.95. This was a great deal for a generous portion of white fish, deep fried, crispy and well coated batter, along with well seasoned french fries underneath. A freshly made small batch of coleslaw accompanied the order. Lemon and tartar sauce were on the side. For $15.95 I loved this dinner special. Yes there were a lot of old people in here, but keep in mind old people know where the deals are. I had a draft beer at $4.50, that accompanied my dinner. My dear friend had a wedge salad with shrimp. I don't know what the price was, but it was close to $15. What she got was a generous portion of lettuce with five well seasoned sautéed large shrimp. On top of the wedge salad was blue cheese dressing that she said was delicious. The shrimp were in a little bowl on the side. We shared a lovely slice of Keylime pie for dessert. This definitely was restaurant made, and delicious. Well worth $7.00 With the tip, dinner for two with a drink and dessert came to $60 and change. This was a great great deal. So if you're in Saint Pete, we're on Saint Pete Beach looking for value, consider Leverocks [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very clean, and our server was very attentive, and well educated on the menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She was well deserving of a 25% tip, which I left. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sitting inside the restaurant, somehow the surroundings seemed familiar! Yes, folks this was a converted old Ponderosa steakhouse two Leverocks[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

never had a bad meal at Leverocks since 1969. Try fresh fish all the time. Service is outstanding especially Kyle and Lauren.

I was pleasantly surprised with a wonderful dinner at Leverocks recently. I haven't been here in over 20 years. I was impressed by the specials which included grouper cheeks and chair grilled octopus. My raw oysters were fresh and delicious and the bacon wrapped scallops with shrimp were also delicious. A little overcooked, but had great flavor. Bread with oil dipping was delicious. Also, you do have to ask for it now.

5/5 Leverock's Seafood has been my go-to spot in South Pasadena for years -- and for good reason! The food, service, and consistency are always top-notch. Their shrimp dinner is my absolute favorite -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and it comes with two delicious sides that never disappoint. Their happy hour is a great deal, especially with two-for-one wines, which makes it an easy choice for a relaxing afternoon or evening out. And whatever you do, don't leave without trying the peanut butter pie -- it's authentic, rich, and the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. Whether it's a casual dinner or a night out with friends, Leverock's always delivers on quality and friendly service. Highly recommend!

This place has delicious seafood that is always so fresh and with many different options. The service was pretty good, we had to wait a bit for a table but it wasn't too long. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is pretty nice, the decorations aren't anything special but it is always clean and bright in there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely one of our favorite seafood spots by the beach!

    Chicken Cordon Blue FRIED???

I first ordered stuffed Talipia and sweet potatoes fries and sent it back to kitchen. The fries were burnt and shriveled up and the talipia was discolored and hidden under sauce. I ordered chicken Cordon Blu and got breaded chicken also burnt to ugly brown. I talked to manager anded if they ever change fryer oil and cleaned the unit. She said they paid a company. WELL, Get another company. I took it home and took off breading and was shocked at small rolled up piece hard chicken was inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant has sure gone down hill since it moved off the waterfront.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I've lived here for over two decades, and this is easily the worst food I've ever come across. Nothing was fresh. The tap water was the best thing on the table, oh, and the kale garnish.. Salad is hard to mess up, but they did it effortlessly. Too much dressing (said it was house, it wasn't house). The fish was oily, and came with such little rice pilaf hiding underneath it, I thought that they had omitted it altogether. The fries were straight freezer to plate. I never put hot sauce on fries, but I did today out of sheer desperation. This meal made me sad. Really, really sad.

Leverock's Great Seafood was not great, sadly. Came in on a reasonably busy Friday night and was seated immediately. Place had some cool decor and Christmas lights up inside. Started off great with the drinks and bread/olive oil for dipping. But the problems started with the main course. The shrimp pasta still had the tails on the shrimp. While this isn't awful, it's also not ideal from a patron standpoint. It would probably only take a few seconds to snip the tails off. My grouper sandwich: bite #1 had a bone. Weird. Bite #2 also had a bone. Things aren't going well here. The 3rd bite had a 3rd bone and I was pretty well done with my grouper sandwich. Fortunately, the wait staff recognized the issues. Couldn't do anything for the shrimp in the pasta, but did take my grouper sandwich back and brought some fried shrimp (my second choice from the menu). It was fine, but the fries were slightly undercooked and a bit starchy. This was really a 2.5 star experience, but I'll round up because the service was solid and I was told by many locals that this was an outlier. Regardless, with the bevy of great dining places in the area, I probably won't be coming back here.

We walked over here with our pups and sat outside on the side walk. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, giving them water and a dog menu. We ordered the pride bagel sandwich and I'm still thinking about how delicious it is. We also ordered the biscuits and gravy which my husband polished off. When we visited, it was very busy and buzzing, but the service never missed a beat. Our server was friendly, on top of her game and offered helpful recommendations. Despite the crowd, our food arrived in a timely manner and hot. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly-when you cut into them, the yolk oozed out exactly the way a perfectly poached egg should. That said, he felt there wan't quite enough hollandaise sauce, and the sauce leaned a little too lemony for his taste. The English muffin also could have been toasted a bit more. The hash browns, however, were the star of the dish-perfectly crisp and well seasoned. I went with the Key West BLT with blackened mahi-mahi, served on a toasted sourdough with garlic aioli. The fish was blackened perfectly-well seasoned with lots of flavor-and paired nicely with the sandwich. I originally planned to order the house chips, but they were not available. Our server recommended the French fries instead because of their unique shape, and she was right-they were crispy and nicely seasoned. Most of the seating is outdoors under umbrellas, which adds to the laid-back Florida vibe. Overall, this is a lively neighborhood spot that feels full of locals who clearly love coming here. We'll be back to try more dishes.

During our visit, I realized the owners seemed familiar, and after chatting with them, learned they were behind a few other local restaurants I've enjoyed over the years. Small world! The restaurant is very small with limited seating, but that appears to be intentional and fits the concept. The wine selection was enjoyable, and I really loved the overall idea and atmosphere they've created. When it gets busy, it's easy to see how challenging it can be for a two-person team to balance service and hospitality while keeping everything running smoothly. Even so, the effort, passion, and attention to detail are obvious. Overall, a wonderful addition to the area. 10/10--we'll definitely be back and hopefully snag one of those sandwiches next time!
