I came in with high expectations based on my previous experiences; however, I left slightly disappointed this time. My Bloody Mary arrived with a single, wilted stalk which dampened the excitement I'd felt planning this brunch. The Korean style brunch bowl was lacking flavor and the choice of rice was disappointing as it was very bland and tasted like the bottom quality bulk rice you might find at a discount warehouse. Service was both lackluster and minimal. I'm hoping it was an off day as I've otherwise been pleased rather than an indication on a downward slide.

I found a video on TikTok raving about the food at this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. The video wasn't exaggerating. The hostess and server were friendly. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to sit us at tables near the bar. The food was great. Would definitely be going back and would recommend you to try it.

I stumbled upon this place because I was staying at the Marriott across the street & this was within walking distance, so very convenient. My waitress was so nice & accommodating. The drinks were amazing. However, the lobster & shrimp spring rolls left much to be desired. They lacked a lot of flavor. For my main course, I was deciding between the corn soup and the poke bowl. The waitress let me sample the corn soup and it was delicious! The poke bowl was tasty, but did not come with rice. Once I put it over rice it was better. If I returned I would definitely go back for the corn soup.

Went here for lunch with my job!!! We weren't certain if they would be able to accommodate us as a group of 11 and to our surprise they were. Everyone said their meals were awesome. Even the bread was delicious!!! Would love to check this place out for dinner the next time I'm in Greensboro.

Good food- Great service! Party of 5 tonight and we all agreed we would not rush back to visit but the food was good. When we walked in the restaurant had a funny smell like a rotten mop was used to scrub the floor by the front door or something so that was not a good first impression. We ordered appetizers, entrees, alcoholic beverages and desserts. The star of the show tonight was the Peach cheesecake.

A group of us made reservations and met here for some much-needed laughter over great food! First, this place is beautiful! The staff made it even more beautiful! And, the food was sincerely mind-blowingly delicious! I had the Grilled Angus Ribeye delivered on a HOT PLATE! My favorite thing about great restaurants is that they serve your food on a hot plate!!! Several people in our group ordered the steak and they all commented on how perfectly cooked their steaks were! The potatoes that came with the steak had tons of great flavor!!! I just cannot say enough about how amazing my entire meal was! My daughter ordered the Butternut Bisque! This was a creamy bowl of thick soup with exceptional spice flavors in every spoonful! We split the Maple Pecan Tart. If you appreciate Pecan Pie, you will LOVE THIS! The bed of sauce it rests on was a tart raspberry sauce that complemented the sweet pecans. I need to mention the staff again! WOW! TOP NOTCH!!! We stayed for hours! Never once did our Man stop filling our waters and making sure our wine glasses were covered. Every detail was noticed! He really was a professional that took pride! Make sure to make reservations here! This place fills up, and I can see why! Most Sincerely, Dayla

Service was awesome, atmosphere is beautiful, and food is delicious. Had the crab cake special and the red pepper sauce was from another planet. Love this place for a fun lunch and will keep coming back!

Romantic and beautiful ambiance with a taste of chef crafted eats. I had the grilled Mahi Mahi , fish was cooked to perfection, the pear puree was surprisingly good, it tasted like pear infused mashed potato's. The only downside was the plates were small

The service was fantastic and they were very flexible on our large group's variety of different dietary restrictions. The food was very good and well cooked. The set menu was great and had pescatarian and vegetarian options for me. Ambiance wise we were in their back room since we had a larger group and it was very comfortable and clean. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the city.

Decided to end my Greensboro visit with a light dinner at one of its most well-reviewed restaurants. Decor is elegant yet has a modern feel to it. Staff is friendly and i was seated promptly. Lobster and shrimp spring rolls- I came by specifically for this dish and...I could've just rerouted to my hotel and saved myself the time and bill. While you can faintly taste...something in it, I can't really pinpoint if I'm tasting crab or shrimp or just minced onion. The accompanying sauces, while tasty, completely overpower the dish...which is actually probably a good thing. Starry Night cocktail - bland. Just bland. These are the only items I tried, so I think it deserves a chance, at least for the ambiance and service

I finally made it to Undercurrent for lunch. It wasn't busy when I arrived and as I was admiring the artwork I was told the paintings were done by the owner and that I should wander around and look including the private room in the back. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The service was very friendly as well. I went with the Waldorf Salad for lunch. Warm bread was brought out before that arrived. The salad did not disappoint. Undercurrent will be a restaurant stop on my future trips to Greensboro.

Went here for brunch luck for us. They were able to accommodate had the whole family out today. Staff was very friendly hostess greeted us right away. They already had our table ready set up with waters and fresh little mini biscuits. Top of them had a nice little crunch soft and warm on the inside packed with a lot of flavor. Plus they had butter and strawberry jam on the table made for a great little treat. I ordered the bloody Mary. Very good. My wife ordered the salmon. Toast looked amazing. Had a little bit of bite. Definitely worth it. I had the shrimp and grits. They use a tomato sauce in there the aesthetic pair as well with the sweetness of the grits shrimp was well seasoned not overcooked Our daughter had the breakfast burger had a fried egg on there. She didn't order the bacon jam look like a great burger. She was on the other side of the table so they didn't get to pick off her plate.lol love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely be back to try their dinner.

Great service and food! Came here for date night. We have only been here for brunch in the past. Decided to try dinner. Started with the bruschetta...yum! Perfect portions. Drinks were different. I had the black tie which was a nice twist on bourbon. My husband had a smoked tequila cocktail that was delicious. It's different having tequila that isn't blended or shaken with ice. Loved it! For dinner I got the ribeye with ratatouille and it was cooked perfectly. Paired nicely with a glass of Malbec. My husband got the yellowfin tuna special over linguini and it was so good! For dessert we did the peach cobbler which came with Cointreaux ice cream. The pastry was baked perfectly and not too hard. The ice cream melted in your mouth. The flavors just worked. Out server and the staff were attentive and courteous!

The staff is wonderful, shoutout to Luke with the Disney pins for always bringing great energy. The food and wine never miss. I've loved everything from relaxing with a glass of wine to sharing a bottle with a friend or joining the weekly themed wine tastings. They also serve desserts from The Salted Phoenix, if you've ever seen them at the Corner Farmers Market, you know how good they are. The lineup of recent events has been excellent, with something new to look forward to every week. I recently went to one of their Tuesday themed trivia nights, and it was absolutely hilarious (and surprisingly competitive). The Twilight theme night had me laughing the whole time -- a little chaotic, a lot of fun, and some of the side conversations went way deep. I'm already eyeing future trivia nights, I'll be back when the theme lets me unleash my useless pop culture knowledge, maybe 2000s Broadway or Disney Channel movies? Last Saturday's house/jazz DJ set with Jon.Viz was amazing. The vibe was intimate, warm, and totally unique. To top it all off, they have a wine club that I'm planning to join in January 2026. The selection is thoughtful, affordable, and clearly curated by people who genuinely love what they do. Lewis & Elm has that rare mix of comfort, community, and creativity -- a perfect little escape right in the middle of Greensboro. P.S. the check comes in a small book where guests can leave notes. It's a lovely detail that makes each visit feel special. I definitely recommend writing one.
