Apple fritters not pictured. Never knew this place existed till I read reviews on Yelp. People saying they came from all over to try the pastries. Had to join the crowd and try them myself. Some, I was eager to get, weren't available when I went. They said they didn't make as many, when schools were in session. I'll have it go back in the summer, when sales increase. Anyway, the ones I chose today were delicious. My favorite was the Maple Old-fashioned (yum yum!) Hope they have that every time I go because I will want it again and again. read more

I've been trying to make it to this place for years!! While the daily closing time is listed as 3:00 p.m., the store actually closes when they sell out of donuts. And as popular as this spot is, they sell out well before 3:00 every single day! So on several occasions over the past five years, I've driven an hour down to Lewisburg at 1:00 or 2:00, only to find a closed store at the end of a fruitless trip. Finally, I made the pilgrimage to the Lewisburg Donut Shop on a weekday morning and found it open! Hallelujah! And indeed, the donuts did not disappoint. The apple fritter is among the best I've had, almost as good as Fox's in Green Hills. But that maple with a soft, yeasty, melt-in-your-mouth dough is astounding! Absolutely incredible. I came down from Nashville and had to try this place. I stopped in in the morning and Sophia who was working behind the counter greeted me right away and was extremely helpful. I saw they were out of Apple Fritters l (my go to anywhere) but they told me they were making fresh new ones now. I didn't have allot of time so I grabbed a glaze and pumpkin to go. I can't begin to tell you how perfect the pumpkin donut was. The perfect crunch to the edges and the flavor was on point without being too sweet. The glaze I can go on and on about as well but the pumpkin is unmatched. So good, I came back later and got an Apple fritter. They remembered me right when I came in, a testament to customer service to a place that's been around for 11 years. I got my Apple fritter and ate it in the car. Another fabulous visit to Lewisburg Donuts. They are a bit out of the way but worth the effort. They have multiple varieties of fritters. I purchased an apple fritter, pineapple fritter, apple pecan fritter, and pineapple walnut fritter. Along with glazed and chocolate iced old-fashioned donuts. I called in advance of my visit and they saved the donuts for me. When I got there I was able to have curbside delivery and the process was seamless. My family lives in Lewisburg and I drove past this cute doughnut shop and figured I needed to try it. Obviously I needed to keep the Yelp world informed about doughnuts right? These doughnuts were amazing!!! There was a large variety or different flavors and multiple kinds with sprinkles (sprinkles make everything taste better) so my kid was thrilled. My husband ordered a bear claw and proclaimed it to the delicious. There were lots of drinks to choose from as well. There are a couple tables where you can enjoy your doughnut there, or take them to go. Tip: order doughnut holes. I don't know why these ones were so special but they practically melted in my mouth! read more

Ok, so I'm a city girl in small town and have eaten my fair share of pastries. I loved the donuts here. I had like 5 different ones. They were soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The maple peanut was new, but tasted like a peanut butter sandwhich. I loved the fact that u can pick a donut and stuff it with any flavor you choose. My favorite was a reg donut with chocolate and an amazing whipped cream filling. Literally finger licking good. Also, they serve some of the best fried rice. You can't beat the freshness, trust me i know, in NYC there is a chinese restaurant every 2 blocks and u taste the grease and oil, which u don't taste here.. loved it. read more

The place has great donuts, but they also have very good fried rice and pho. The call their pho noodle soup. It arrives in a huge bowl. You can get beef, chicken or vegetable in your soup. They also have egg roles, chicken salad on croissant and it appears they have some breakfast sandwiches too, but I've never gotten those. It's a very modest building, but they have tables so you can eat there or you can order takeout. While their offerings are limited, I will tell you that this is the absolute best Asian restaurant in this town, then you can get a donut for dessert. read more

The Smell of fresh baked pastries greets you immediately.. Long John and bismarks are Unfilled, which gives you the option to select one of 5 fillings.. Fruits, fluff & Bavarian cream.. First of all the donuts are made fresh every day and are all fantastic. This is a great little place and the family who owns it are extremely courteous and friendly. I have had the pork fried rice and the combo fried rice and both are amazing. There are 2 Chinese restaurants in town and they wish they had fried rice half this good. The egg rolls are fresh and delicious as well. The star of the show is hands down the Pho. I love Pho and she makes some of the best I have ever had. She only makes so much every day so call ahead.
