We had a small issue with…read morethe car that needed some welding on the frame (the front end had to be removed), and I think the welding job was done very well. My issue is with everything else. The original estimate went up significantly, and the car was delivered in awful condition and with complete disregard. It was dirty and dusty inside and out, the engine wasn't running properly and had to be fixed, the cooling system had air in it, and the hood wasn't aligned correctly. We only complained about the hood alignment, but Tom was well aware of all the other issues. We tried to work with him to get the hood aligned, and it was a nightmare. You feel like you're not welcome there, and even after a second attempt, we walked away with the hood still not aligned -- now we'll just deal with it ourselves. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone because of the carelessness, and I honestly regret trusting them.

My accident affected my front tire and bumper, no engine damage or any sort of damage that would have required them to mess around with the inside of my car. Immediately after driving my car, I knew it was not the same anymore. My car would shake like the tires weren't aligned properly, my trunk would open out of nowhere (especially while on a highway), and just drove overall poorly. Before my accident, the car drove just great at 66,000 miles. I don't want to believe they swapped out parts while having my car for that long, but I guess I'll never know what went on behind closed doors. After a recent accident, my dad's car was towed to a different auto body shop in the area. Upon "inspection" that shop determined that the vehicle should be totaled. We contacted Bobby at Star Car, who had the vehicle towed to his shop the following day for a second opinion. Bobby determined that the vehicle was not totaled and was able to repair my Dad's car cost effectively. Not only did he repair the vehicle, while he was driving the car to realign it, he noticed that the breaks were pulling and took it upon himself to further inspect it. He determined that both caliber's on the front wheels were frozen and repaired them, making the vehicle completely safe. All this to say, Bobby and the entire staff at Star Car consistently go above and beyond.
