But while they eat there orange chicken and things of that sort, I'm enjoying there vegetable soup with tofu and rice. Friday on October 6th, I ordered the Orange Chicken lunch special . The Orange Chicken had no chicken inside but all breading, I poked at just about every piece of orange chicken and opened it up and there was nothing but 1-2 that had some weird looking meat inside. Food is great! Super fresh and high quality meats and veggies. Atmosphere is not so great, however it is super quiet if that's what you're looking for. Good service. Definitely come in or order delivery if you want good and reasonably priced chinese in the area. read more

Ummmm...I did not like this place. Confused how it gets 4 stars. Hot and Sour soup had BEEF in it and was not Hot the slightest. The Szchewan Chicken sause was aweful. And the peices of Chicken was sooo large and tough I needed a steak knife Not a butter knife...to cut it were it was edible. Egg roll was ok. Steamed rice was ok. I'm still in the hunt for a good Chinese place. Shame on those folks calling that "Chinese food" ! save your money...skip this place. Liang's Chinese restaurant has fallen off about a year now I gave them three tries recently today we spent $69 everybody was disappointed everybody got something different the rice is old and hard that I get the jumbo shrimp just to make sure they deveined which they are not so I'm picking through them as I eat the gravy is just watery no taste the shrimp Egg foo young man is just horrible the patties are burnt I'm done I'm done I gave them enough tries and I'm not gonna continue to eat somewhere in the food is not good they act like we will just eat anything!!! read more

Had ham egg foo young and shrimp fried rice. The rice was good. Plenty of little dirty shrimp. The egg foo young was good, the heavy it was in was disgusting. Too sweet!!! Gravy should be savory, not sweet. Hate the Chinese spots that do this. read more

I usually have a good experience ordering from this restaurant until tonight when I began to eat my take out meal it tasted funny . I soon found out why it tasted that way I found a cigarette butt in my food. That only means the cooks smoke over the food as they're cooking. I immediately called the restaurant and voiced my concern, it's funny how some people understand you when you're trying to give them money but don't seem to understand when you have a complaint. I was told to bring back the food the next business day for a refund. I'll see how that goes but I took pictures of my meal and will be forwarding to the Illinois Department of health for follow up. I am very much a vegetarian which means I do not eat MEAT. What is so hard to understand about that? I literally ordered vegetable fried rice and I am half way into the rice and I find pieces of meat. I was in my night class eating & I almost threw up I was disgusted. After not eating meat in years meat can seriously make me very sick. I could not believe that they were inconsiderate enough to not even SCRAPE THE FREAKING GRILL OFF from previous orders. If you're allergic to something don't come here cause I'm certain they won't give a damn. Sorry lost a customer. Been coming here for years meat is a huge huge no no turn off for me. Called & they said they wanted to see it. i always came here for the beef and broccoli lunch special and was always happy with everything. today, I decided to order $40 worth of food and try a little bit of everything. wrong decision. got home, they forgot my egg rolls and crab Rangoon. I asked if they could deliver them to me down the street so my food wouldn't get cold. NO! I drive there, return home to cold orange chicken, hard and chewy sweet and sour chicken, carrots and onions in my BEEF AND BROCCOLI, and these 8 tiny shrimp in my LARGE shrimp and garlic sauce and an over abundance of broccoli. so I call back to complain ONLY about the beef and broccoli, which I fore mentioned I ALWAYS ordered before CORRECTLY, so I KNOW what I ordered \. the rude lady tells me I ordered it wrong and refused to reimbursement for just the beef and broccoli. I wish I could give this place ZERO STARS, because they failed more than one aspect and im not just ranting about incorrect food. my advice to anyone is to check their food BEFORE they give them their hard earned money. they refuse to make it right, and according to liangs garden, the customer IS NOT always right. read more
