A bell went off in my brain and according to my math, the bill should have been a little under $100, I mean, yeah, maybe all he had were those two hundos and needed to leave a tip, but something told me to ask him if they included gratuity. He didn't have his reading glasses on and asked me to take a closer look at the bill. Sure enough, they included gratuity. That's just shady business practice to me. Most restaurants nowadays have a written notice on the menu or the server will kindly tell you gratuity is included, but not at this place. He was pissed, because he was absolutely going to leave a nice cash tip. Even though the food was delicious and we both want to go back, it just left a bad taste in our mouths.
