Now a Liberty Gas Station. They advertise 10 cent off / gallon with purchase of a car wash. However when I pumped it literally took like a minute per gallon if not longer. It was like .001 gallons pumping per second. That's like super freaking slow. I only pumped to 5 gallons before I couldn't take it any longer, then proceded into the car wash. Not a very good car wash if you ask me. Still had lots of dirt and grime left on the car. The blow dry phase...forget about it...you're better off just driving off on the highway. Better yet save your money and go to a real car wash with real live attendants. read more

Zero stars. Gassed up regular gas yesterday (no car wash). Pump said $4.159 per gallon and $30.95 purchase. Receipt showed 7.487 gallons and $4.179 per gallon with a final charge of $38.95. That's $5.20 per gallon! Should be investigated. Won't gas up there anymore. read more

Friendly service on the filling-station side, and great snack shop... manager was professional and nice enough to let me plug in my electric vehicle in a pinch, when I was low on charge. 2 Stars are for pretty cheap gas. HOWEVER, made the mistake of going to them for my inspection a few years ago and I was deeply disappointed. Didn't pass because of brakes. Took it to another mechanic who said brakes were fine, but by law, had to do something to meet the inspection. Just put on new pads and sent me back to Liberty. Passed then. Haven't had new rotors put on and it's been at least 3 years. Hmmm.... really needed new brakes??? Felt fishy. Also, beware the soft-core porn mags covering the waiting bench if you have kids!! read more

I live in the Annandale neighborhood and have been going to Liberty Service station for over 15 years.The gas price is the lowest in town. The owner and the mechanics are very professional and friendly. Their repair mechanics are outstanding with Victor, Jose and 2 others are always willing to help fix my issues with a smile and a fair price. They complete my emission and State inspection quickly and professionally. I give all 5 of the employees and owner 5 stars. I would give this location 0 stars if I could! Waited in the car wash line for 30 minutes only to find out that it was cash only, there were no signs prior to getting in the big line. Horrible job by management, especially when the machine supports credit cards and they don't use it! read more

I would have given this place ZERO stars if it were possible. Do NOT get gas or a carwash here. I got RIPPED OFF. I bought a carwash when I got gas a few weeks back, but didn't need the carwash right away, so I set the receipt aside for a later date --- or so I thought. It had an expiration date, which had passed, so when I asked the manager to either give me a replacement voucher or a refund. He wouldn't do either. So, he had the $7 I had paid for it, and I got NOTHING for it. He said the computer system wouldn't let him issue a replacement, but this was a BALD-FACED LIE, because this happened once before to me, and whoever was on duty that day issued one without question. read more

Today I stopped by to use the code they had given me earlier so i can get a free free. I was unable to used it because someone had used my code for a free car wash 4 days earlier. How in a world someone knew my code, only the insider would know or perhaps sold my code and pocket the $. That is what I suspect. So, a free car wash for me is no free wash at all. DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE FIXED HERE. the owner is a horrible man. He verbally abused me & his employees. I got my truck fixed but a month later my check engine light came back on for the same problem. "Did you want your vehicle fixed or to pass emissions?" he asked me. I didn't realize there was a difference. Apparently I paid them to pass emissions to not fix my truck. I have written 3 emails to the corporation hoping someone cares about customer service....but i doubt anyone does. read more

The owner is completely unhelpful and has no sense of customer service. I bought $30 of gas and for some reason his bank kept charging my card the $30 over and over and over. By the time I discovered the problem (getting my card turned down in a restaurant), LIBERTY had depleted my account by almost $5,000. I went to the owner and he said "that's your problem." My bank is trying to recover the money but it will take weeks. He could have contacted his bank and credited my account immediately. PLEASE DON'T GIVE THIS GUY ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS! read more

If I could give a zero "star" - here it would go! Horrible customer service!!! We went to wash our car, and beside the fact that the washer just wet the rear of the car and signaled that the wash is done (front of the car still dry and dirty, no soap/foam, no drying - nothing). Gas station attendant was rude and told us that there is nothing he will do since he wasn't there to see it. I guess my dirty and dusty car wasn't enough proof for him. Who is the owner of this place omg!!!! I have an small truck an old guy refuse to do the oil change because he said he has to go underneath the car. They pass the ball between each other until this old guy said no we won't do it. Do not take your car here for an oil change. They are very slow and will overcharge you even they give you a "free" car wash. It took them almost two hours to do my oil change because they had to order the filter from a part store somewhere else. Finally, they charged me $49.10 for the oil/filter change. Note that the Sunoco gas station down the block charged me $35 for the same job. So I guess I paid $14 for the "free" car wash. I will not come back here again. read more

My experience with the service was a ripoff. I came in with my brake pads and rotors. Apparently my front rotors were the wrong ones. They reinstall my old ones and still charge me 600. Which is outrageous. And the service manager said I still did the work because I had to reinstall your old one. And I ask why didn't you get me the right one. Because you didn't buy them from me. Why didn't you call me so I can get the right ones. Because you would be holding up my bay and keeping me from making more money. Please don't ever go there. Go to liberty off rt. 50. Very professional, polite, helpful and honest. I stopped by a few days ago as one of the tires on my car was losing pressure. They found and resolved the problem within 10 minutes. I have to say that I had pretty different experience lately in the surrounding similar shops. Thus, I will be back at this one in the future. read more

It's a small gas station. Usually very crowded. It used to have the best gas prices in that area. I don't believe they do anymore.

My boyfriend and I went to get gas here and since we were there he decided to get his car inspected there too. He asked one of the men that work there if they were still open and they said yes and they'll inspect his car and to just wait. So my boyfriend and I waited about 30 minutes until we we realized they closed their door for inspections. We went back to tell them that someone told us to wait and they just ignored the fact. We wasted our time going there. I'm just very upset with the service we were given. read more

The mechanic said he knew what must be the cause of the problem, but the problem was not fixed. The mechanic repeated the process until I gave up trying to fix the problem and to waste more money. The cause turned out to have had nothing to do with anything the mechanic had done and it was fixed at 10% of the cost from the Liberty. read more

Failed safety inspection on my 4 year old bmw, Rolando the mechanic said my headlights were misaligned and he could conveniently fix in a few minutes for just $30. Since the car was under warranty I took it to the dealership and they said it was just fine and passed me. I went back to Rolando for an explanation and he wasn't willing to explain, saying his machine told him it was too misaligned. Total BS. read more
