I stopped in recently for Gas and it was just a good gas station. However, I decided I needed to go to the bathroom and wow do they do a good job of keeping the bathrooms clean. So many service stations do not - these folks know how to keep customers happy. read more

Gassing up and got a love the Giant fuel rewards cuz I save 60cents/per gallon, whoop whoop! The service station and it's operations staff are very nice and helpful. I come here often and I thought I reviewed them before but either I didn't or I reviewed the wrong shell, lol. This one can be tricky to get into from from the road & it looks like an older, beat up station but it does look like redoing it. This one is conveniently located in Annandale off Little River Turnpike & the best thing about it is how large is it. The fuel pumps are in such a big area that it is super easy to get in and out. A new feature they have as you start fueling is a little computer screen that plays advertisements to keep you company while you pump, lol. They have air ($1.50 cash for 3 min or a calibrated air pump for $1.50 cash or $1.75 credit card), vacuums, food mart service center, & they sell propane & ice. I chose the calibrating one but it would not let me calibrate it to what I wanted/needed & I was stuck with the preset psi so that's a bummer. It says on the Yelp site that they are closed today, Sunday, but they are very much open! read more

I have used this service station off and on over several decades and have found good service at reasonable prices. The ownership of the station has changed in recent years. I took my vehicle over this morning for an annual inspection and an oil change. I had received a text advertising Mobil 1 synthetic oil change for 5 gallons at $ 85. The person in charge kept changing prices on me starting at $ 145 and ending at $ 107. I agreed to the price given that I was told that my Chevy Tahoe used 8 gallons of oil. When the work was completed I request a receipt. The man in charge refused to give me a receipt showing the work performed. I left the service station without any proof that my oil was changed using Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I will not be using their services in the futute. read more

As other reviews have said, don't get your car inspected here. Very aggressive and rude inspector, Farooqui, scammed me. He screamed that there was too much air in the tire and started a fuss asking who put it in. And he charged me for labor and light bulb without any prior advice. The tire pressure light did not go off, and when I checked the taillight bulb, I found that both sides had not been replaced as picture below. I got a refund after arguing with the owner, but I never want to go back, and I don't recommend this place. read more

I had been going to this Shell station for years for my car inspections (as well as gas and other services). The man that did the inspections was a great guy. I always looked forward to speaking with him. Last week I went back there for an inspection and there was a new guy doing them. I was going to drive my car into the bay but he said "no, I must drive it in" (said in a very rude, mean, unfriendly way). I told him that this is a specialty car and I have always driven it in myself. I told him the former inspection guy has been letting my do this for years. He said "he isn't here any more, if you don't like it, go somewhere else!" I was shocked and said "what"? He repeated what he said and told me to go somewhere else. Horrible customer service for a front-line guy dealing with customers! I went inside and spoke the Amir, the service manager, and he said sorry for the way the inspection guy spoke to me but, he can't do anything about it. I asked to speak with the owner and he gave me the name of Chelsea. He said to call back mornings to speak with her. I tried several times and she was never there. I last spoke with a woman who again said that Chelsea was not there. I asked her to give me a number where I can reach her and she would not. I asked for her name and she said it was "Sue". I asked her for her real name and she said "Sue is what people call me". Rather than leave this review, I tried to deal directly with the Station owner to discuss the poor customer service but, now I see where it comes from. I brought my car in this morning for a check up on my Ford Focus S because there was smoke coming from the exhaust system and to find that one of the sensors was burned out and they were able to fix it for me. I will recommend the station to all who need there car fixed read more

Car issues are never fun, but Amir and team at Shell 7413 helped us make the best of a bad situation. Thanks to them we were back up and running in a short amount of time. We found ourselves with a fuel leak issue nearbye and were lucky enough to be closeby. Amir's team was able to take a look at the car right after we brought it in. They had an initial diagnosis completed in no more than 15 minutes and then, with our go-ahead, proceeded with the fix. No more than an hour later, we were back up and running without having to had to call a tow-truck or cab, and at a very fair price. While it would have been nice to not have the issues in the first place, I don't think we could have been any more fortunate to end up in the care of Shell. Based on our experience, I highly recommend visiting them if you're looking for a dependable mechanic in the region. read more

My brake light came on. I was looking for someplace close to home so when the area coupons arrived I looked for vehicle repair places. They were within walking distance of the house and I had a coupon (for brake work no less, which made me think it was an area upon which they focused). Then, naturally, I checked Yelp. They had 5 stars but only one review, although at least it was relatively recent. & so, I decided to give them a try. We dropped it off on Monday morning. They said it was ready before the end of the day. We had plans Monday night but went to get it Tuesday morning. The price was less than I had expected and I was able to use the coupon. I went to my vehicle turned the key and much to my shagrin the screen flashed "check brake lining" and the brake light was still on. I was NOT happy. The garage guy who was there was not helpful, at all. We waited for the lead mechanic to come in since he said he would get in at 8am. He looked at the light, put the vehicle up and gave it a look. He apologized for not having taken a look before we were told it was ready and, respecting our schedules, suggested he would assess the situation and be in contact. He defused me pretty quickly by simply being willing to admit he had dropped the ball. When he called my husband with an update a couple of hours later the vehicle was ready, there was no longer a brake related warning, and there was no additional charge. We will probably try them again and I am hopeful that I will become a fan... read more

This shell is reasonably priced and well kept. However the cashier lady is rude and inconsiderate. I just wanted to ask a simply question and she kept herself busy doing nothing. I ended up asking it from the service guy and he was much help and nice person. I will look forward to the price and the customer service itself. read more

Worst service ever!!!! My brother took his car there one and the mechanic forgot to tighten up the ball joints. I took my car there yesterday and they said they had the problem figured out but my car kept overheating again and at the end of it they just wanted to refund me my money and have me leave. I would never take my car there again Amir didn't know what he was talking told me he was going to give a discount never did. I would strongly recommend to stay away from this place!!!! read more

Current management is great. They will tell you honestly anything that they find wrong with your car and then let you know how urgent it is to fix it. They allow people to make appointments so that you don't have to leave your car indefinitely if it isn't absolutely necessary. I have an older car so they will often give me a few price/quality options for parts and then let me choose what I think the best investment is. Good quality work at a fair price. Not only does this service station keep the price of of their gasoline at a very competitive level (They are more often than not priced lower than the "competition") but the service department came through for me when I needed help quickly. My left front tire had a screw in it and I had no choice but to drive on it since it began as a very slow leak. The air began leaking at a more rapid pace and I had a docotor's appointment in Silver Spring Md. lesss than an hour hour away during the 495 rush hour(s). All my tire required was to have the screw removed and a plug put in it's place to stop the air from leaking and the tech. recognized that emmediately. Three minutes later and at a very fair price I was on my way. I buy my gas at Annandale Shell as much as possible not only for the price (Giant gas reward points really come in handy!) but also for the fact that they helped me out when I needed it. If you find yourself anywhere near the Little River Turnpike exit on 495 in Annandale Va. and need gas or service, I highly reccomend Annandale Shell! I have been used this place for years and they are always fully booked. The reason is when I ask something, they are honestly responded as it is. If certain service is not needed, they told me. When I bring performance part and ask them to install it, they do it by reasonable labor charge. Get there early, otherwise you may have to wait for hours due to a lot of works in line. read more

i usually don't write bad reviews but this frustrated me to the MAX ! my car was having issues with a misfire in the engine . so i was recommended to take it to this shell station to get it repaired . So everything was going good . got my updates on what was wrong with the car , told them i would order my own parts and bring it .i brought them the parts Wednesday . I was told that my car would be done Friday morning everything looked great and will be ready to go Friday morning so i took a Uber over there spending money to get there to pick up and they tell me it's STILL not ready . Told me that they repaired the things they told me was wrong but "NOW THERE'S MORE PROBLEMS" the communication was horrible, i don't understand how you don't tell someone this and don't give them a update ,instead of waiting till someone get's there to say anything . I am so happy this Shell station is under new management. Finally a station with the focus on customer service, speak English and pay attention to details. My family had used this station for years with great results until the previous management made it uncomfortable for us. I had service on my car and am thrilled with the service, the products and most importantly with the treatment I received.
