The technician was great and made me feel comfortable. The front office staff need to be mindful of the patients and what they are talking about. Came to this location for an ultrasound to be done for my daughter. Building is not hard to find, street parking limited as it is right in Ventura blvd, kind of hectic street. I believe they have a lot to park in which you will have to pay for, not sure how much the fee is. But over all normal decent experience upon arrival noticed a very big clean lobby/waiting room. Ladies upfront were very nice easy to talk to. Evelyn was very sweet & gave my daughter a lollipop and stickers. Very welcoming. I got checked in almost immediately. Waited for about 20 min as there was a few ahead of us. When we got called we were helped by a female tech which I appreciate. She was very friendly and very kind + patient she made sure my daughter felt comfortable and did her ultrasound with warm gel. I am a physician and had a chest CT 14 days ago for evaluation of an incidental nodule on a prior imaging study. After 14 days of waiting for a result, the report is still not posted on the portal. I have called the facility 3 times to complain and sent several emails, to no avail. No one should have to wait this long for a result. I will go elsewhere for future imaging studies. read more

I'm so angry about how this company treated me. I had a doctor's order for an hip arthrogram. On THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, Radnet incorrectly scheduled my appointment and then called me back to say they had to cancel . I've wasted so much time sitting on calls with customer service reps who don't understand the type of care their company provides. My doctor has now given me a referral to a different imaging provider. But I'm deeply upset that my care has been delayed because of the incompetence of Radnet's customer service reps. read more

The people at Radnet, including Tarzana Manager are the most incompetent employees I have ever had to deal with. It is now days 6 since I called to schedule 2 MRI's and they still have not submitted my paperwork for Pre Authorization. They requested Doctors medical records only after I called and was argued with about requesting medical records which were needed to get Pre Authorization. I called again next day to make sure they received only to be told it could take 4-8 hours for them to receive because goes to central location where they then have to distribute - SO UNPRODUCTIVE & WASTE OF PATIENT TIME!!! Called next day only to be told still not submitted, STAT cases go first- MEANING MY FILE KEEPS GETTING PUT AT BOTTOM - AGAIN UNPRODUCTIVE & MORE UNACCEPTABLE WAITING TIME TO GET MRI!!! Called again next day, asked for Manager, told not in, after 20 minute with an another incompetent & rude employee, I found out she was in another office close by she splits her time in. All employee had to say was she was in other office & provide phone number. I then spoke to Manager who promised to elevate my Pre Authorization request and call me the next day to update me. Never heard from her, I called late on the next day to find out she was out of the office. It is now Monday and I have yet to hear from Manager.This company is INCOMPETENT AND MISMANAGED FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. My doctor had requested a follow-up ultrasound. First time for me to do any imaging with Liberty Pacific. Showed up at the scheduled appointment time, got a phone call while in the parking lot. Service rep said that their radiology doctor says that they cannot do this procedure. Their doctor says need an MRI. Not true. Agent on the phone was unable to provide any real assistance. Claim to have called me the day before. Received no voicemails or messages. Avoid this place if possible. read more

I'm not sure what the problem is at this specific location. First, let me just state that the front office staff are always phenomenal here! They are friendly & have also been helpful. The issue that seems to be the problem are the techs in the back office area. Perhaps they hate their jobs or are unhappy working for this company because once again I had a tech by the name of Anthony who took me back for my Xray. Didn't bother to say good morning, no smile, no eye contact, didn't bother to tell me his name. He looked miserable. He Just verified my name & D.O.B. Was rough when positioning me for the X-Ray and lacked communication with what he was doing. Didn't seem to care one bit. I wish Cedars Sinai would get their own Imaging Center in the San Fernando Valley so their patients don't have to be subjected to suboptimal care. The scheduling department is a nightmare here. If you call twice, you will get two different answers. It seems the people are not qualified, nor experienced in handling the orders from doctors' offices. Once you are scheduled, call back because none of the information they gave you will be accurate for that visit. They will also tell you different information about your insurance coverage, depending on who you speak with at the facility. It is very confusing and as complicated as any scheduling could possibly be. The technicians, however, are very nice and made the procedure effortless. read more

I went to their other office first, but they told me there was an hour wait and sent me here instead. I checked in at 10:39, and it's now 11:31 and I'm still waiting. When I asked the front desk how much longer it would be, they said they had no idea. Am I just supposed to wait until they close? The whole process feels super disorganized. Honestly, I should've stayed at their main office, I probably would've been seen by now. When I first arrived, the front desk told me it'd only be about a 5-minute wait. I'm leaving a review after the horrendous treatment I received at this location I came because I needed to have an MRI. My appointment was at 2:15 on Saturday, 13 December as always. I arrived early as I was informed I should do. I arrived at 1:55 told the obnoxious and rude receptionist. I was here for my scheduled appointment. They said OK we'll check you in. I said great. They told me oh we're running 30 minutes behind so you'll have to just wait when I asked why they were running behind. The response was unbelievably hostile from the receptionist. She told me it just is and you'll have to wait. I asked why she was speaking to me like this. She said you'll have to just wait or do you want me to cancel? I said obviously I don't want to cancel. I'm in unbelievable pain and I wanna find out what my issue is which is why I'm here on time for my MRI. She told me well then you'll just have to wait. I told her I was going to sit in my car outside. She told me if you're more than five minutes late 30 minutes prior to your appointment. She was going to cancel my appointment. Her attitude was absolutely shocking this is a medical facility and I was treated with unbelievable contempt and rudeness by this person sitting on the reception desk. I'm writing this review prior to going back in to sit and wait for 30 minutes. Also would like to note there isn't one single other patient sitting in this huge reception area. Brenda and Jasmin are the worst. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Their combined lack of reasoning ability and critical thinking warrants deeper scientific observation. First, my wife's exam is cancelled two days prior her appointment. Then, when we show up for my 4-year-old's appointment, on time, and after spending 20 minutes reconfirming our insurance and collecting our copay, they tell us we're late and that the ultrasound technician can no longer see us. "Excuse me, what?" Their response? "You were not early enough so they already took the person after you." "Ok ... so give me their appointment?" "I'm sorry it doesn't work that way." My wife and entire family are practitioners, and we've never seen nor heard of something so utterly ridiculous. One of the WORST experiences I've ever had in a medical office, in my entire life. The entire front desk staff needs to be replaced. Extremely rude and highly unprofessional. I will never be back and would never refer anyone here, ever. My son was in need of an MRI, which is already a highly stressful experience for any parent, or any person needing one. It's rarely a good sign that someone needs an MRI, so it goes without saying that the staff should be caring and compassionate. The staff here was the exact opposite. The moment we walked in, there were about 10 young females, almost all in their early 20s, behind the counter - and no one in line. As we approached the counter, each one of them stared and sized me up and down, as if I was a classmate walking into a new school. It was super odd, and immediately off-putting. I'm a woman in my 40s with my child, not their peer. They literally sat and watched us walk up to the front of the line, and let us stand there (with no one else at the counter or in line). No one motioned or called us over to help - they all just stared. So I finally walked up to the counter and said "we have an appointment". They asked for our info, and I gave it, to which they responded: "your appointment is next week. We rescheduled." I told them I had literally just made the appointment that day. They said they tried to call me to reschedule because they needed more info. I pointed out that I had no missed calls & my doctor had provided everything they asked for. They began arguing with me - and I say "they" because this was a mean girls group effort: I had the initial girl we approached, a couple other females that appeared to be leads that were chiming in, and the entirety of the rest of the group all sat around and stared at us, eavesdropping, as though this was all a show. It was extremely upsetting, in an already stressful situation. The group ended up telling me I had to pay full out-of-pocket for the visit, even though I showed proof that I have a PPO, and was referred by my doctor. They called my insurance, who was able to do little by phone. I couldn't reach my son's doctor, so we ended up walking out without getting the medically necessary MRI because I knew my insurance should pay for it & I refused to pay it myself. Afterwards, my son's doctor called me apologizing profusely and insisting she had personally sent the backup documentation that was required to bill the MRI to my insurance. In the end, it appears that information was given to a 3rd party scheduler, and must not have been shared with Liberty Pacific. Clearly, I do not hold Liberty Pacific responsible for that. I do, however, hold Liberty Pacific 100% responsible for how they made my son and I feel, at a very vulnerable time in our lives, when we needed the care & compassion of medical professionals, and not the tacky, catty nonsense of a bunch of uncaring front desk staff. They made a really bad, unfortunate situation so much worse than it had to be. read more

This time I showed up to my appointment, just to get informed that my appointment was cancelled again. This time they did not even bother to call. My last review was in 2023 but my first MRIs at this location were actually done in 2018 (weeks went by before they were approved, but this time the approval was very fast.) But...Radnet takes way too long to read the MRIs and release the report. 10+ days is way, way too long. It should be a few days. If the scan was Friday, you get it done on Mon/Tues and doc/patient has it by Wed. Imagine if someone's scan showed a life-threateningly serious issue? You have them sit at home and wait for more than a week before the radiologist gets around to reading your scans? Hire more radiologists if you are short on manpower. Lord knows you charge insurance companies enough money for your services, and you need to work "timeliness" into your business philosophy. Secondly...I was charged the full amount of the MRI at the appointment. But come to find out, I only owed X amount for the co-pay. So they overcharged me by hundreds of dollars, which I had to take even more time to call their billing department about, and request the refund. With MRI's, it's always a run-around. I went to Radner Imaging Center today for an ultrasound appointment scheduled at 9:10 AM. Their call center booked it last week and confirmed that they had already contacted my doctor and received all the necessary information before scheduling me. However, when I arrived, the receptionist told me I needed to provide a prescription from my doctor and that without it, I could not be seen -- even though I was there specifically for an ultrasound. This was very confusing because they had already confirmed they received everything required in order to schedule the appointment. If something was missing, I should have been informed before my appointment -- not after I arrived. I took time out of my day only to be turned away due to their internal miscommunication. This is not the first time their call center has made mistakes like this. There seems to be a serious communication issue between the call center and the front desk. I visited Liberty Pacific Advanced Imaging for an X-ray, CT, and MRI--all scheduled for the same appointment. Unfortunately, the scheduling process was a hassle. My calls were routed offshore--first to the Philippines--where I struggled to understand the agent due to a poor connection full of static. I had to shout to communicate, and both my first and second calls were dropped before I could finish booking. Thankfully, on the third try, my call was routed to the Caribbean. The agent there was clear, kind, and helpful--what a relief! Once I arrived at the Tarzana location on Etiwanda Ave., everything changed for the better. The office staff and technicians were welcoming, professional, and courteous. The facility was clean, spacious, and well-organized--from the front desk to the exam rooms. There's a clear disconnect between the frustrating scheduling process and the excellent in-person experience. I hope management heir facility staff. I'm very disappointed with my recent experience here. I arrived just 10 minutes late for my appointment and was told they could not see me. This was especially frustrating because there have been many times in the past where I had to wait well beyond my scheduled time while they were still with another patient. What made it worse was that I had fasted since last night to prepare for this appointment, so being turned away over a few minutes felt unfair and inconsiderate. I understand that schedules need to be kept, but a little flexibility -- especially given that delays have happened on their end before -- would go a long way toward better patient care. read more

I called Liberty Pacific Advanced Imaging (part of Radnet) to ask questions regarding imaging for my disabled sister. I was connected to a call center that I believe is not within the U.S. The person I talked to could not answer my questions and put me on hold 3 times. I was on the phone for 33 minutes but could not get any of my questions answered. I asked if I could talk to a technician who works at the imaging center, in hopes that they could help me. But the call center person was not able to do that. I could not find a phone number that connects directly to the imaging center. All calls go to an off-shore call center. It's easy to schedule an appointment from Radnet's site, but there is no provision for canceling an appointment. I called to cancel but again was connected to the call center. It took me 19 minutes on the phone to cancel. It's interesting that my sister's doctor and my doctor refer us to a Radnet facility when imaging is needed. I believe the doctors are getting a kick-back from Radnet. read more

It took 14 minutes for the representative to understand that I just want to confirm my appoinment. He kept trying to set a new appointment. Then I asked if it was a certain machine, to avoid rescheduling. My last appointment they sent me somewhere that did not have the correct machine and wasted a lot of time. He couldn't confirm, but then he could, but then he wasn't sure. It was a shit show. F*ck Radnet for outsourcing and making things so impossible. TO OTHER MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS: This place does NOT honor STAT requests ... nor do their staff understand the genuine urgency of a STAT request. This is the second day in a row we have used this location and the second day in a row we have had to chase STAT results (which we were supposed to receive last night). In this case our patient may have appendicitis. There is no concern. The staff feel no urgency. Radiology reporting is being poorly managed. There is no "provider line" for a Doctor's office to call and get a missing report expedited. Who is running this circus??? If there was an option for zero stars I would gladly give it. My mother in law who is battling dementia waited a month for a PET scan of the brain. We had to arrange for transportation to and from which was a 45 min one way trip. Upon arrival my mother in law received a text message notifying her that her appointment was cancelled. When we called to inquire why, they told us they did not have the contrast medication. Now things like this do happen, however for a 2 PM visit there is zero excuse why she was not notified before the visit. The women who answered the phone offered zero help. Clearly this is a time sensitive situation given her rapid mental decline and the facility could have cared less. Its absolutely disturbing that they think a text message is adequate communication to cancel and appointment that we waited a month for. Patients deserve better! read more

This is the best lab ! I've had MRIs, CT scans ,Ultrasounds , X-rays at Liberty Pacific for over 4 years. I'll start with the desk staff: efficient, kind and friendly The technicians in each imaging room I've experienced are above and beyond excellent at what they do, take the time to make you comfortable in ways no other labs do! I used to feel exhausted, somewhat stressed from the many MRIs I've need for my TBI, but at Liberty Pacific they have a way of minimizing the stress. Technician seemed nice at first till he asked me to go back with my husband and then kicked me out of the room. If no one's supposed to be with a patient, there's no reason to ask them to go to the back with them.The technician was a hundred percent.Unprofessional had to return after six hours because the technician it did the precaud to tell my husband that he was not allowed to take his diabetic medicine.They only said, and he was not allowed to take metformin. Nothing like wasting a complete day when you have the first appointment of the day and end up having to come in the last appointment of the day. I unfortunately have been going here because it's conveniently located in the same building as my physician, who sends my orders to this lab. The front-office staff is neutral, not rude, and not pleasant. That's fine, you don't have to be cheery and sympathetic to your patients. The back office staff is cordial, and that's the only reason I gave an extra star rating. I don't like that this office charges you before you even have any work done, and before you get the EOB from the insurance company. Usually they have to run the charge by insurance and then determine patient responsibility. There have been a couple of times where they overcharged me (saying insurance won't pay as much) and then I had to chase them down for my refund. Second is they do NOT know how to draw blood. Every time I've been here they've had to attempt (i.e. poke me) 2-3x before they got it right. In contract, every other place I've been to has consistently been able to draw blood quickly and painlessly. I'll post a pic so you can judge for yourself. These incompetent idiots cost me thousands of dollars because I run a business I have to close in order to make these appointments. They called me THREE hours before my appointment and tried canceling costing me SIX clients at $235 a piece. The rescheduling went horrible, and they were absolutely rude, the Northridge office lied to me and tried telling me it wasn't their fault after the call center admitted that they messed up. The "call lead" had no clue what she was talking about and didn't even realize that they contracted a call center outside of the US to work for them.
