I've been here twice now and have left a very happy customer! The studio is nice, bright and clean. The ladies are all very nice and accommodating. They are gentle but fast. I never felt like they were damaging my nails. I just got a French pedicure and all of a sudden I looked down, and it was smudged!!! Super happy with my medi and pedi from here! They were having a promo for a gel mani and regular pedi for $73. My nail artist Linda was super attentive and kept checking that I was okay with the length and the shape of my French tip. I appreciated how she'd paint and cure my nails 2 nails at a time to avoid any mishaps and get each shape right. This is also a rare spot that includes exfoliation and a light massage in their pedicure (very much appreciated!). They do charge less if you pay in cash but do accept credit card :) read more

I gave them a simple design to do which was a deep striped French the lady told me she'll try so she did and I didn't like it so then she offered me stickers bc I was crying in her chair bc I'm already paying 95 dollars for essentially press on's, and was willing to pay the extra 35 for the two color striped French design bc apparently the 95 dollar set comes with one color only if you get the whole nail painted but it's an extra 25 for French with two colors 35 for the design aspect which was the stripes. when she attempted to put the stickers on she kept folding them which caused me to tell her just forget the stickers that she offered to do but couldn't seem to do correctly, then at the end tells me if it falls off or you have any lifting you can come back and we'll fix it for free... so not only did I leave with plain nails with glitter but I also paid 95 dollars for it and they couldn't even get the design right. and let me also mention how I am a nail tech and literally always do my nails myself and wanted to treat myself which is the reason I was crying bc I got press on's from cvs and target that look better than this for about 6 bucks read more

I am so sad. I live maybe 500 feet away and had really high hopes that this new salon would be my go-to. It wasn't the best manicure and a little clumpy but it's ok. I just needed my nails to look nice for a work trip the next week. 2 days after a funny bunny gel manicure. The thumb and index chipped. I simply went back and got it fixed before I left. Less than a week later. (FIVE DAYS) The other side chipped and essentially peeled off like a sticker. If you want your expensive gel manicure to last less than a week. Come here. read more

Horrible experience. First of all I asked for 3 different very basic nail looks and they said: we don't do chrome French, we don't do ombré. I felt forced to do a basic French for my birthday nails. I asked for dip powder and a clear base; I got a milky opaque pink but when I asked them do u have anything more clear they said "this will look clear". It lost definitely did not. I got cut in the process and the lady kept pushing on my cut during the process. The whole look came out lumpy and gross. Never had my nails look so horrible. It's patchy, lumpy, and not what I wanted. Not tk mention with tip I ended up paying $100 something and felt forced to give tip because she said venmo didn't work for the lady that did mine and I had to preselect. The salon itself is clean and bright, however my gel manicure barely lasted a week (aka it peeled right off). Also got a gel pedicure which lasted but the polish was lumpy/uneven. Wish I could say more about this place. read more

I walked in for a manicure pedicure and there was no wait. The salon is only a month old and the inside is clean and bright. The decor is beautiful and the music they played was peaceful and relaxing. The whole place feels more like a high end spa than a nail salon. The pedicure area is in a separate room with a cushioned bench and individual porcelain tubs. They offered me a complimentary bottle of water and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I'm very happy with the way my nails turned out. I will definitely be back. read more

This place has become my go-to place for pedicures. The salon is very clean, the staff are very friendly, and they do an excellent job with manis/pedis. They have a wide variety of spa pedicures if you really want to relax and treat yourself. The technicians are always very careful when I come in with my feet in less than ideal shape and I always walk out with my feet feeling and looking great. They have free wifi, provide bottled water, and have frequent customer program. They do have a website but it is often just easier to call ahead to make an appointment as they get incredibly busy at times. read more

So disappointing... I've liked in LIC for two years and have yet to find a nail salon that is even half decent (I've been traveling into Murray Hill this whole time). I figured I'd give this place a shot even though there were several poor reviews. First of all, there were 2 people getting their nails done on a Friday afternoon (you would think a busy time) and I had to wait 30 minutes. I also walked in and three employees walked by me without greeting me or asking me if I needed help. I had to kind of wave them down. Super weird and probably should have taken my signal then, but I'm a bit desperate as I have an event tomorrow and it's also torrentially raining so really did not want to travel. Anyway, I got a powder (SNS) manicure. Pretty standard. I've done this manicure 100 times and could tell she wasn't following the normal process, but I let that go. Once she finished there was powder all over my nails / skins. It looks like my 2 year old twins did my nails. She tried to fix it but it really is a total mess. She blamed it on the fact that I did black powder... but again this is a really regular choice for me and I've never had this issue. I then got charged, and this IS my fault because I should have asked, but the price was OUTRAGEOUS. I've never paid this much for a dip manicure in my life. And to pay that and have it look SO bad was really painful. Then as I was paying another tech came over and told me "if it falls off this week we'll fix it for free". I honestly laughed out loud because they all but told me they did a crap job and it would probably not last. I guess I appreciate their honesty! All to say, i do NOT recommend. Long wait times, dismissive staff, very unprofessional looking manicure, and absurd prices. Back to Murray Hill for my manicures I go! EDIT: the powder dip did, indeed, start to chip terribly after 48 hours (as the woman, Coco, predicted it would). So I paid 70 dollars for a sloppy manicure that lasted 2 days. Do not go here unless you want to get scammed! I made an appointment to have my dip powder soaked off ($10 per their booking system online) and when I arrived, one of the ladies working there tried convincing me I don't have an appointment (because they were busy) but eventually found it. After she found it, she said I made an appointment for gel soak off, and told her there was no option to book for dip powder soak off. Everywhere I have been consider gel/dip removal the same. She kept saying I'm wrong, and that she will charge me $25 to take off the dip. As she said that, she was smiling and made it seem obvious that she very much made this price up right now, because other people without appointments were waiting to get their extensions and mani pedis done (more expensive). I said I will be leaving and she laughed at me because both of us knew what she was saying was ridiculous. She just wanted to make more money off of the other customers, or upcharge me if I chose to stay. I'm so happy I left, I will NEVER be going back to those scammers! read more

This place is awesome! I came here with my parents - they both got scrub pedicures, which were super thorough. The space is very clean and it was a really relaxing, pleasant experience. wanted to like this place as I live closeby, however feel that they were aggressively buffing/drilling my nails. It was a bit painful and I felt nervous. I got UV Gel extensions and 2 of my nails broke the first week! and another nail broke week 2! I was in the area to get some work done on my car down the street and needed to waste some time. What better way than to get a mani. This place is new, clean, and well designed with separate areas for manis and pedis. Nice selection of both regular and gel polish. Staff is efficient and polite. Perhaps the most refreshing - the sanitizing machine was actually running while I was getting my mani. I've lived in NYC for 10 years and frequented many nail salons, but have never actually seen the sanitizer running. This place is not convenient at all for me, but worth the drive out of the way to come back. Prices are fair with an added benefit of a punch card to save 5% on your 5th service and 10% on your 10th. This is my 5th time here. My first few times were fine but this time, Yoyo did my nails and it was a terrible experience. The entire time, she was drilling and buffing my nails so aggressively that my nail beds started to feel sore and I can tell she was drilling too much. One of my nails is shorter than the rest so I asked for an extension nail on it. She glued it on so badly that there was a gap between the fake nail and my real nail and the fake nail was sticking up. I told her multiple times that it was bad and it shouldn't be like that. She wouldn't listen and said adding powder on top would smoothen out the bump. When I pointed out one more time it did not look right, she sighed and very aggressively finally took off the fake nail with a drill. The drill went into my skin and I flinched and pulled my hand back but she just kept going. My finger is now sore and it feels like my nail is too thin. I had also asked for coffin shape for my nails but she kept making them square and I had to constantly ask for every single nail to be skinnier coffin shape. At the end, she apologized and said I was right but this was a really unpleasant experience because she was giving me attitude and rolling her eyes for something SHE had done wrong. It did not seem like she had much experience in doing gel polish and adding extension nails. Other nail techs were fine before but I'm still not coming back here. read more
