Well, I received a call from the corporate office assuring me the error was theirs, that they did get screens from a variety of suppliers which was not fully known by existing staff and that I was correct. I reiterated by belief that this was a failed process and the staff person did a good job with the tough situation he was put in to handle. I paid $172 to have my iPhone screen replaced and that talked me into purchasing a plastic screen protector film. 9 days later, I dropped my phone onto a wooden chair that I was standing over and it shattered!! Even with the screen protector they talked me into purchasing. My original iPhone screen would NEVER have shattered if it had dropped 2 feet beneath me onto a chair!!!! I called them to see if they could repair it since it had been such a short period of time and this was my first experience using lifeline for a repair. However had I not been proactive and calling I would have never known bc they failed to call me after having it 4 days instead of the 4 hours they promised. I could have used my laptop as it was with some blurred spots until a replacement was available. I decided to take my laptop to Simply Mac. They immediately informed me my apple care would have covered the screen. However since I have no screen my warranty is voided. The next bomb was lifeline is not an authorized Apple repair center. Approved Apple repair centers get parts directly from Apple. My screen is available and will ship today. Lastly, they bent the frame and it's questionable if the screen can be properly installed now. Simply Mac is handling everything with Mac for me. My rep felt terrible. He is working to get my unit replaced and report this business. Buyer Beware!!! read more

Definetly a life saver! While moving this past friday my iphone 5 decided it didnt want to live anymore and jumped right out of my hand (I swear I didnt drop it!). I immediatly took it to Verizon bc I had insurance and since I was moving all weekend I needed my phone. Well apparently insurance is useless. I cracked my phone was looking to get the screen on my LG G3 fixed. I found this place on Yelp and got my phone screen repaired here. I was so happy with the service that I recommended it to my friend when she broke her screen a week later. Fast forward a month and the LifeLine screens have both started to crack just from regular use (they both have not been dropped since the repair). The glass that they use to fix the screen must be cheaper than the manufacturer glass. Spend the extra money and go directly to LG, Apple or Samsung to get your phone repaired. read more

The name "Life Line" could not be a more fitting name for this business. Over the last 2 years I have taken three different phones into the Green Hills location for diagnosis and repair. Each time I have been impressed. Unfortunately , my husband's phone was beyond repair but I felt like the technician went above and beyond to see if his older model phone could be revived to save his pictures. Deciding to opt out of a contract phone, I bought one of my younger teens a used phone here and it is still going strong. If you have a cracked screen or your phone becomes possessed with odd behavior this is the place to get help. I am very disappointed in the store. I went there because of the yelp reviews. When I first came and replace my screen they were very nice and friendly and did it in a timely manner. The screen was peeling off three days later and I went back and they read glued it and said if that didn't work to come back. I went back because the screen was peeling off and when I pushed it down it cracked the screen. I can no longer use the touchscreen and limited to voice text. I called the store ahead of time to tell them that I accidentally cracked the screen when trying to push their screen back down and they said bring it by and they would take a look when they looked at it they said they would not replace it. I explained that the reason that it is cracked is because the first screen was defective. I left work and now I have to sit over an hour in traffic to get back and they did nothing for me. I would not recommend them. They should have replaced the screen the first time instead of just gluing it down. It had only been a few days. Now I have to pay to get a new screen and I will go somewhere else. read more

Had my broken screen replaced on I phone 6. Within 1 week my screen started doing funny things. Took it back and they told me I had cracked it again. I knew I hadn't. They would not do anything. Took it to an independent repair place and they told me that life line had left some screw in screwed and the pressure of it cracked an internal screen. Awful service! I had my phone desired on a Friday. The LCD screen began to malfunction & the top screen was lifting up less than a week later. I took the phone in for repair because I was told the repair work was warranted for 120days. Although there was no damage to the phone's screen, I was told they would not replace my screen under warranty because the LCD was damaged. I was told that the screen had lifted & something may have gotten under the screen which is faulty repair work. So'$142.00 & less than a week later, my phone is not working again. read more

This is a long story but I would listen to it if you have the time to read it. So a few months ago I brought my smart phone in to lifeline to replace a bad charging port on my phone. They did a wonderful job and didn't charge a ridiculous price. The initial visit was not the problem. The problem happened another couple months later when the charging port broke again. I immediately brought it back to lifeline and they said that it was still under warranty so they would run some "tests" to see what was causing the issue. I gave them a cell phone number they could call to tell me what was happening, but they never called. I am a very busy person so I had my mother go to their store to find out what was going on. They told my mother that the motherboard of the phone was "fried". The reason why I put that word in quotations is because that was the exact word they told my mother. For those of you who don't know, a fried motherboard renders the entire phone useless. They also said they tried putting in a new charging port, but that it did not work. I did not believe them. It was the same issue that I had the first time so I asked my brother to take my phone apart because he is a certified computer hardware technician. After he took it apart, he told me that the motherboard was fine and that the only thing wrong with it was the charging port. So my brother and I went into the store ourselves and started asking the guy at the desk some questions and he was useless. He actually got scared when he found out my brother was a certified computer hardware technician so he ran into the back of the store and got the assistant manager. The assistant manager then came out and had some questions for my brother like, "what sort of tests did you run to make sure the motherboard was functioning properly?" My brother told him that he did a visual inspection and that everything looks to be in order, and then asked the assistant manager what sort of tests they ran to tell that the motherboard was broken to which he replied, " we do not have a checklist to run through and even if we did that's an internal matter that we can not tell the customer". This raised me and my brother's suspicions so we went home and ordered an $11 charging port for my phone on Amazon to try and fix it ourselves. Today we got the part and installed it into my phone and wouldn't you know the phone is charging up again. I think that this store will not stand behind the work that they do and are telling people lies because if it were not for my brother, I probably would have believed them and gone out and purchased a brand new phone. Most of us who bring our devices bring them to people who we trust are doing the right thing and telling us the truth. I don't know if it was because they didn't want to fix my phone for free since it was still under warranty or what, but these people are terrible. Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE! read more

Sometimes business owners never get the chance to make it right for their customer, and sometimes they do. As such the case here, I had done business with these guys for over a year. I had one poor experience as of late and posed my experience on Yelp Saturday afternoon. Only to have the owner call me Saturday evening to make it right. At first I was put off that they would phone me at 9:45pm on a Saturday, however, after speaking with him a few minutes I saw that his reputation for customer service meant more to him than anything and he wasn't going to right off any customer or experience. Granted social media and yelp sites do impact how we do business today as customers, they also give the businesses a chance to be better and change a poor experience to a great one. Matt and his team ( Singh ) stepped up and made it right and ask for what they needed in return; a voice- if you have a poor experience no one will care more about it than Matt, so with that knowing no one is perfect, go ahead and use these guys.
