I went in to trade in a car for my dad. I told them up front the truck had $11k left to pay and that it was worth $19k. I wanted to see if they could trade it in and get me something with 0 money down and 0 payments. Just an even swap to get my dad out of the loan. I told them at the very beginning to not waste my time and if they can't do it or don't have a truck for about $8-10K then we'd leave. They were trying to get me into a truck they were selling for $16K and I told them many times that I don't think it will work and I'd be frustrated if they were wasting my time. They assured me that they have ways of figuring out the price due to how much they really got for the truck they wanted to give me. In the end, they said we were $4K off the price. I reached out with an inquiry in hopes to get into a Wrangler. Sam Merenda called several times leaving voicemail's stating that they had plenty of options for me on the lot, which was good, except he continued to call even after I had asked him to reach out through email. I work all day and don't always have a chance to answer my phone. I asked 3 times if there was anyway he could send over the information for the vehicles to my email. EVERY. SINGLE. email I got back from him said "give me a call when you get out of work" or "give me a call when you can".... Not entirely sure why he continued to refuse to send me the information but that kind of shady behavior has definitely deterred me from continuing any type of business with this company. I haven't even talked to the guy and feel completely uncomfortable with his sales tactics. read more

I went to Lifted Trucks to obviously look for a truck. I was very specific on what I wanted. They didn't have anything on their lot that I liked. I told the salesman that and he wouldn't let me leave. SUPER Pushy and kept trying to sell me something I didn't want. I was looking for a Diesel truck and the salesman didn't know anything at all about diesel trucks. Just because a motor is the same size don't mean they don't change things year to year. Finally I just walked out on them in the middle of the salesman talking.... I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I'm struggling on this one. I NEVER leave bad reviews, but I'm really frustrated today. We drove over an hour last Thursday to purchase a Tundra from Lifted Trucks. While the shopping process was smooth, and they did give us a good value for our trade ins, we got the vehicle home to discover three of the four door locks were not functioning, and the key would not unlock the door from the outside. SO after having the truck for 3 days, back to the shop it goes. It took 3 hours of back and forths and employees saying I needed to speak with someone else to finally get a plan. They said it needed to be in the shop by 8am the next day-Tuesday. (Next problem was they didn't offer loaner vehicles- and I would be driving over an hour with 2 kids and no way to get home/nothing to drive in the meantime) TJ did get authorization from a manager to let me borrow a car so I rushed up to drop off the vehicle the night before (for the 8am appointment). I moved my kids into a Durango, the AC was struggling to keep up with the temps and with 1/8 tank of gas I was sent on my way. Next morning, I called at 8:30 and was told by service that my car would be pulled in and checked out any minute, and they would let me know what the plan was for repairs (in the meantime- I was pulled over after picking up my son from school because the blinker is out on the loaner vehicle.) This morning (Wednesday) no word yet so I called for an update and was told that the truck was JUST pulled in for diagnosis today. Because my appointment wasn't actually until Wednesday. (Not what I was told by the manager or when I called Tuesday morning.) . They did confirm that the tech found the same issues we reported but I will have to wait until later for another update. I understand that things happen, but I feel like once that contract was signed, our value as a customer greatly decreased and now we are just an inconvenience. *~* UPDATE *~* I did receive a call very quickly from the GM and the service department after posting this- which I did not expect. They explained that this is not the normal and it was missed communication, a new quality control employee, and probably some bad luck. They are trying to make it right and I appreciate the quick response when I felt like nothing else was working. read more

I started out at Sands Chevrolet early in the morning with a very bad experience with your typical sales guy trying to squeeze every last penny from me and not working with me on price and lying to me about what was available on their lot just to get me down there. The staff at lifted trucks is AWESOME! Lamar my sales guy was very helpful in making sure I was comfortable, Tony the sales manager worked with me on price by getting me where I needed to be, the finance department got me the best rate, and the final signing of the documents was a breeze. Cameron then told me he would do whatever it takes to get me a truck I want at the payment I described after going there today after he called me twice to try an persuade me telling me all the things he's able to do I just spent over 3 hours at the dealership to just waste my time. Wouldn't ever buy a truck from here. Asked in the morning if a certain truck was still available. Was told yes. Drove 40 miles to see this particular truck. Guess what, truck not there and the 'salesperson' had no clue where it was or when it was sold. Typical tactic to get you on the lot. Saw another truck that was similar in the detail department, so since we wasted the 40 mile drive, we took a look. Not exact to what went to see, but had an interest. Took for test drive with 'salesperson' who had absolutely no clue to simple questions like warranty for the lift that THEY installed, and add ons that were listed on the window that the detail shop installs. Says "bedliner", does that mean they are installing a bedliner? 'Salesperson' had no clue!! Now we get to start talking numbers. Truck was listed at @ $32k. Their starting point was $6500 down and 60 months at $743!! Figure that out people, that would end up being @ 23% interest and overall payment of $51k!! for a 2014 truck with 83k miles!! Must note, credit score is north of 750!! After getting back off the floor, I asked what was the APR on the lone? 'Salesperson' had no clue, Again!! After wasting more time, and the 'salesperson' doing his back and forth with his 'manager' we had enough and walked away. They have the worst negotiating tactics and I can only imaging how their vehicles hold up if this is how they try and sell vehicles. read more

I'll start this review off by saying that Liftedtrucks.com was a fabulous company to do business with. However, after the purchase there were some minor issues I came across. That being said, I still view them as a great company to do business with hence the 5 stars. I would do business with them again and not change the fact that I purchased a truck with them. I'll start with the "issues". These issues are very minor and more of a personal preference I have, but it kind of made me upset after-the-fact. 1) They did not provide a full tank of fuel which I didn't catch until I left the lot. 2) The oil change advisory message came up the next day after the purchase. I feel it should have already been completed. 3) They didn't know how to fix the TPMS Warning message I had with the aftermarket wheels and tires they installed. (Which I figured out a couple days later, so all good now). Now that, that is out of the way, the purchase deal was 99% completed over the phone, seeing that I lived 3.5 hours away. Sam was my salesman and out of the 17+ vehicles I've purchased in my lifetime he was the most genuine and sincere salesman I've ever dealt with. You can trust he is doing his absolute best to make the buying experience fun and at the best possible price. I had 2 trades, and they gave me great value/trade-in credit for both of them. ALL over the phone without seeing them, other than pictures. Once I made the 3.5 hour drive up to see them, there weren't any "hidden" charges, gimmicks, or shady changes in the deal. They actually lowered the price more by honoring their company's special incentives. They got me in and out of the dealership in under 2 hours. If you are looking for a lifted truck without the wait of sending it to a shop; or want the lift included in the loan/price; or for just a great looking truck, Liftedtrucks.com is the place to get it. My truck was lifted with a top-grade lift kit and the best off-road wheels and tires money can buy (I researched it all before I drove up to see them). they don't even deserve to get any stars!! my boyfriend and i went in to get a new truck then what we had & they were trying to sell me a newer truck with MORE miles then what our truck has. they kept calling and finally they called after hours for a deal that caught our eye and when we test drove the truck for the second time we found multiple issue wrong with the truck even after they ensured that the truck with through a complete inspection. on top of that the manager came out to speak with us and basically told us that everything the sales rep told us he'd do for us was b.s and we declined the offer and said we didn't want the truck he replied with "then bye" and walked away. HORRIBLE SERVICE. i get better respect from three year old kids then i did with a 30 year old salesmen. read more

I bought a 2011 GMC Duramax with 103k miles. Price was fair I thought, but I didnt get 10 miles down the road before the "Poor Exhaust fluid quality" light came on and stayed on for the 100 mile drive home. I only drive this truck on weekends as I travel for work, so I have only put a couple hundred miles on it. Well, now I get a message on the dash "restricted to 55mph max" and the truck wont go over 55mph. I called and they only said to bring it in and they would diagnose it but any repairs I would have to pay for. Am I supposed to drive 55mph on I-17 so they can "look" at it? just to tell me I have to pay to fix it.....It's frustrating to buy a truck from a dealer, only to not be able to drive it. I guess its not covered under their warranty because it still drives forward and backward, albeit only 55mph. Probably would not go back or recommend Lifted Trucks read more

I test drove a truck over night. I liked the truck, secured my own financing, and went in and asked for an out the door price. I had cash for a down payment as well. When the sales manager came back all of a sudden the price was way higher then asking price, my down payment would have been absorbed by all kinds of bogus fees. I wanted a final price and figured we could negotiate on that to come to something that worked for all party's involved. Nope they talked down to me, trying to tell me about this fee and that fee, the only price they did give me was thousands of dollars higher then the MSRP that they set on the truck. The bad thing is I was a repeat customer ( I bought a truck back in 2004 or 2005). Never again lifted trucks! Your greed is over whelming. Luckily 2.3 miles west on Bell rd I bought a lifted truck and was treated right and got a fair price! read more

The overall sales and purchase experience was very pleasant. My Sales Consultant, Darrell was very knowledge and an overall great guy. During the process, several of the senior staff came over, introduced themselves and made me feel very comfortable. It was as smooth of a process that I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Even more importantly for me, there was an issue with the vehicle that came up after I purchased it. Horrible!!!! My fiance bought a truck, or he though he did and got an ok deal and now a month later he is getting calls feom finance saying his loan didn't go through and they want him to sign a new contract with higher interest and payment. Well he doesnt want that deal so they want the truck back, which is fine but we live 3.5 hrs away and he has to take a day off since Mia the finance person said he can only get a check signed during the week. It is a $2000 down payment so we want that back. Yesterday My fiance spoke with a manager (James) who was extremely rude saying "you have my asset and I want my asset back now or I will get it towed and that cost will come out of your down payment" which is illegal by the way since its a down payment for the purchase of the vehicle, not for charges since they messed up and let a $42k truck off the lot without proper lending. This is called the "spot delivery scam" so people beware!! Get your own lending if you want to shop here. We will be returning the truck Friday and they better get our money back.
