Well, had to follow my favorite bartender, Bobby, to this place. Beautiful views to enjoy, and parking was fairly easy. I just had the arugula salad and prawns "dipper" from the regular menu, both were excellent! I didn't have any drinks but their speciality menu definitely looks yummy!

My family has been going to the Lighthouse for years. We love it. It's a mainstay for lunch and dinner. Surrounded by water and San Francisco Bay views. Fantastic food, drinks and service at great prices. Suggest the fruit pancakes at breakfast and the Danish meatballs at dinner-don't miss.

We had a great time on Mother's Day! Arrived comically late due to traffic, but they held our reservation! We sat outside by the water, a bit chilly under the umbrellas, but still quite pleasant. We shared the salmon lox bagel, and the salmon eggs Benedict. Both were quite generous with the salmon lox! I wish there had been more hash brown with the Benedict's, but could be I'm just used to that being typically voluminous portion. We had the creme brûlée and their bottomless mimosas too! It felt quite laid back, even on a hectic brunch day like Mother's Day, and the servers didn't leave our glasses empty for too long. Would come back if in the the area! Parking was ok - great considering the busy day - it's within a apartment looking complex in the suburbs and there was also street parking . You walk past a pool and tennis courts to get to it. Felt like it was a local watering hole.

This is a great spot for some breakfast brunch or dinner. Tucked away in the Marin mountains with beautiful views. Of the bay waters. The staff is great. Very personable and friendly. Jack was our server and did an amazing job. Service is fast and very attentive. The food is very good. I tried some coconut shrimp and Parmesan fries as an appetizer. Fries were great flavored and crispy on the outside and soft inside. The perfect fry. The shrimp was super good. Had all the great fresh flavors. Also had the California club sandwich that comes on Ciabatta bread with avocado and some of the best bacon. So crispy. Absolutely delicious. It comes with choice of side. I had the coleslaw. Definitely made the right choice. Homemade for sure. Super creamy and full of flavor. Also had the Lighthouse Cheesesteak sandwich with a super tender sirloin steak and cheese with peppers and a side salad. This was a great spot. Really enjoyed this restaurant.

Best kept secret in Marin and a delightful place to dine, unwind and share the Bay waterfront and seabirds experience. The photos show the quality and the service is friendly, fast and professional. We love their salads and the bar is comfy. Now there's a restaurant with water views which is perfect for Al fresco lunches overlooking a beautiful pool and quiet. I liked this off the beaten track discovery and hope it gives you food for thought

Wanted a spot on the water for lunch on the way back to Santa Rosa from SF and found the Lighthouse Bar & Grill. We made reservations for 3 at 1PM and got seated as soon as we arrived. It was a nice day so we sat outside and the views were great! It took about 15 minutes until we were approached to take our drink order. I also checked-in via Yelp to get the free fries and our server knew nothing about them so we did not get them. We ordered beers and they came to our table fast. The rest of the service was just OK. There was only 1 server for the 6+ tables outside and who knows how many they had inside. Food was just OK too. Nothing special but I would go again for the views and a nice outside area.

I found my local Tuesday spot! $3 chicken and beef homestyle tacos. Nachos were amazing, with a generous portion of delicious guacamole. The battered fish taco for $7 off the Taco Tuesday menu was well worth the extra few bucks! I also enjoyed watching the fog roll in over Angel Island and Belvedere! Hidden gem of a place with great prices for the area.

Ambiance is lovely and never crowded on weeknights . Our favorite waitress is Sarah, who is lovely. The food was always mediocre but there has been a drastic improvement. We had a t-bone steak which was marvelous and the chicken marsala dinner was very good. They serve Honig wine which I adore! Come back if you haven't been in a year. It has improved.

Fantastic and underrated. Drinks are solid but they don't have a cocktail menu, so make sure you know what you want. They made me a great espresso martini! Food is excellent, I loved their homemade veggie patty, it's what brought me back as a return customer. So good. Other winners are the crowd (or really, lack thereof; nice to have open space and no wait at peak hours) and the beautiful view with wind protection. Interiors are a little outdated, but so are the prices so I'm not mad about it...you can get cocktails and a meal for 2 at around $50. Very quiet and serene, lovely. Hidden gem!

So you get a small and intimate feel where seated outdoors (so pleasant) or indoors. They have live jazz style music playing. Happy hour is 4-6 pm at the "bar section" only, separate from the main restaurant. Go early as its first come first serve. I tried the crispy buffalo wings which was good. Matt had been talking about Brazilian steakhouse every time he saw something that reminded him remotely of Fogo de Chao, so I figured this opportunity might be of interest to him. Come to find out that the day after I make the reservation he asks if I'd be willing to go a Brazilian steakhouse for the long weekend, so I got to surprise him with the fact that I already had a reservation. I'm not the biggest fan of Fogo de Chao based on my prior experiences there. I do believe that I have been to a Show de Carnes location before and had another great experience, but also Show de Carnes's Memorial Day promotion was slightly better than Fogo's and I much preferred that their location was outside of the city even if on the other side of the bridge. I did have to call the morning of to delay our reservation slightly, but it was taken care of for us without hassle. We even got seated closer to the original reservation time when we ended up running early. There isn't much space to wait in the front lobby area especially on a packed night, but everything looks very upscale from the wine bottles on the wall to the crystals above the self-serve side buffet. As far as mandatory meats, I have a couple of personal rules when it comes to Brazilian steakhouse, including go light on the sides and only go for the beef. Picanha is my favorite, extra rare too, so I made myself a whole pincanha meat salad while probably giving the guy cutting the meat a good scare. The grilled pineapple is also a must, followed by the cheese and honey. Matt got a lot more variety but it takes a while for the guys to come around with meat that has already been sliced up some so I can get to the parts that I like. We got a papaya cream and passion fruit mousse for dessert, which we probably really didn't need but enjoyed thoroughly as we are both dessert people. As it was a busy night, it was not too easy to flag a server down. I saw picanhas skip our table left and right so I'm not sure there's an established route for them to bring the meat around. The staff did seem to work together with great teamwork, and someone always stopped by to make sure we had more water and our choice of sides. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone that is a protein or all you can eat fan. The regular price per person is definitely steep in my humble opinion, but if you can catch a promo it'll be a great time. Also, don't choose between still or sparkling, ask for tap. I will not be getting got again next time.

Eating on patio is super lovely on a nice day, counter ordering was fast, and staff friendly. Got both flavors of chowder ($12/bowl) and would recommend the white especially for the nuanced taste- herby, creamy? Couldn't place what was different but wasn't your average chowder! We were hungry and in a rush to get to our boat rental and didn't even notice the specials. We got the red chowder, white chowder, soft shell bao tacos, fish tacos, pasta con vongole, and Louie salad for a group of 5. We took everything to go and had it on the boat. Everything was great especially the white chowder, fish tacos, and soft shell crab bao tacos, except the pasta con vongole was too salty. After looking at the pictures we decided we have to come back on Saturday. On Saturday the wait was 50 minutes, and the line went all the way around the fence. So many of the specials including the whole fish, which we went back for, got taken off of the list while we were waiting...tragic. If you're going on the weekend beware!! We ate in at the restaurant this time as we didn't have a reservation to get to. The outside was pretty hot and there's some seating inside and also in an adjacent room that nobody seemed to notice. We were still able to get 2 specials: rockfish ceviche and dumplings. The dumplings were so good - their homemade chili sauce is sweet and a mild spicy that builds. Rockfish was a bit lime-y, but a delicacy nonetheless. I would definitely come back on a weekday to enjoy the specials again!
