They were short staffed so we had the manager, Pablo, as our server. He couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Service was outstanding throughout. All of the orders came out together and correct - not a small feat with a party this size and everyone altering the way the food was to be prepared. My wife and I shared the wedge salad to start ($17). Huge portion and loaded with the typical wedge goodies. Delish! I ordered the salmon pasta special for my entree ($45). Also a huge portion loaded with large shrimp, lots of salmon, olives, tomato, and more with a delicious red sauce. Fantastic dish. And way too much to eat at one sitting (reheated pasta dish for dinner tomorrow!). My wife had the chicken Toscana ($35). Grilled chicken on a pasta with marinara and cream sauce. Excellent! Excellent food, service and ambiance. A bit on the pricy side but worth it.

The staff was nice and unfortunately that's where the good ends. My husband ordered the Kobe burger, medium rare and ended up with medium well. He said the burger tasted like a frozen patty. I ordered the turkey melt with no onions and it came with extra onions. The one good thing about my plate was the house pear salad. It was really tasty and the poached pears were delicious. The butter cake we had for dessert, came out so fast it was if all they had to do was get it from the freezer and heat it up. It was not good. Suffice to say we will not be going back and we were left wondering why there were so many good reviews.

This little restaurant is amazing, absolutely love that it's stuck around on CSU Channel Islands'…read morecampus for so long. When I was a student here, I often frequented Mom Wong's or Tortillas and they're still here which is incredible. Mom Wong's is very student-friendly prices as well. Each dish pictured here was about $10-12 and the portions are huge! Seriously, if I was still a student here I'd be going here every week because I'd have enough food for three days. Now for the quality of the food... each dish was great. The chow mein, which included chicken and shrimp, was awesome. Seasoned nicely and not too greasy. The orange chicken, which looked and tasted a bit more like sweet and sour chicken (not mad about that!), was also very good and retained its crispiness. The fried rice, which is what my wife ordered, was good, kinda soy sauce heavy but it had a nice flavor overall. (Tbh idk why but I've never been a huge fan of fried rice).

Inside the restaurant, the ambiance is casual. I ordered the Juicy pork dumpling($10.99 ) and Milk tea with boba ($4.49). The dumplings were very juicy and a little sweet. That would be nice if they had some ginger slices and black vinegar for the dumplings. About boba tea, it's good. I prefer the tea to be stronger. Boba tea was warm, which means it's fresh, but needed more ice. They always serve in to-go containers. This place is good for friends, couples, and families. Parking is in front of the restaurant.
