This place is amazing!! Had never heard of it before, but smelled the bacon as I was biking past and had to stop off on my way back through Sausalito. It was fast and busy, a rare combo. Service was awesome and everyone seemed to be getting a jump on the day an enjoying a solid diner style breakfast. Food was perfect. Definitely getting the blueberry pancakes next time, but couldn't fit all that on the bike.

My wife and I went to the "Lighthouse Cafe" today and had a great experience. The waitress was great and cooks were right in front of us. We sat at the counter. There was a line outside the door, but we didn't have to wait on seating because of the counter space. There is seating inside as well as outside. It has a family vibe making it a great place to dine. The food was also great. My wife had a banana pancake with hash browns and I had egg Benedict. If you're looking for a great place to go and get good food try Lighthouse. All in all, I give light house four stars

Arrived at 10am on Sunday, party of 2. We waiting in line for about 10 min before sitting at one of their outdoor tables. We had outstanding service from the waitress who was helping us. She made sure we had everything we needed, and was so sweet! We both got eggs Benedict, which are only available for Brunch on the weekend. They were delicious! The only thing to note is that the prices are quite expensive. We spent $65 after tax on our two meals, 1 coffee, and a side of toast.

My buddy chose this place for our big breakfast before our big hike. I fully approve. I got the ultimate breakfast and it comes with a huge mixed fruit pancake that I split with my buddy. He got a spicy scramble. We hiked 31 miles and frankly didn't really need to fuel up during the hike so this breakfast really did the job. Casual. Great service. Cozy. Street parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

I thought that the service was friendly, fast. I appreciated that they checked on us as well.. The food was pretty good, very tasty..I really liked my Philly sando and potato salad..I did think it could have had more filling..It was lacking filling..But it was very tasty.. My guy had the Corned Beef Hash and he said it was pretty good. We enjoyed our visit to the LightHouse. BTW, we sat on the patio with our dog. I appreciate dog friendly outdoor spaces..Thankyou

Visited this spot on a Saturday morning with two friends and although there was a long line to get a table (~10 folks in front of us), we were sat in ~20 min. The staff was attentive to get our orders as soon as possible, but once we received our food it was a bit hard to get their attention for additional request. However, the place was very busy, which might have played a role. We ordered the Augustin's stuffed hash brown, the Annette's scrambled eggs and the Raspberry pancakes. The Augustin's stuffed was for sure the top plate. The hash browns were crunchy and the stuffing was very tasty, just perfect! The raspberry pancakes were ok, nothing unique or memorable about them. Lastly the Annette's scrambled eggs were good, the sausage is a bit spicy, but it balances out with the rest of the flavors. Overall, would revisit this spot for the Augustin's stuffed hash brown, they were so tasty! Important to note, they have outdoor pet friendly seating if that's of interest.

Tasty Sourdough; tasty taters. Arrived early, went right in and grabbed a booth. Well coordinated service, open kitchen with a counter. I was hoping for a greasy spoon, mom n pop...what I found was clean and bright, looked relatively recently refreshed with newer booths. Patio seating outdoors. As others mentioned: small bathroom, multitasking waitress on the phone, potentially long wait and no sign up sheet, just wait outside...and tourist priced. But the food was good, perfect portions. Look forward to trying the pancakes and breakfast burrito next time.

Road Trip for the weekend and So happy we ran into this Cafe spot for brunch. Located in the cute town in Sausalito, Ca! Super cute little lighthouse. Plenty of street parking when we arrived. There was a small line outside the cafe but not much of a wait as they have seating indoors and outdoors. We were asked what we preferred and we went with outdoors. Our server started off with our drinks while we looked at the menu. We ordered Huevos rancheros, Eggs benedict, some pancakes. They had fresh squeezed orange juice which the kids loved and unlimited coffee for us coffee drinkers. everything was10/10 absolutely delicious. the servers were nice and friendly. we will definitely be stopping by again when in town.

Little brunch spot on the coast of Sausalito. Wait in a short line to get in. There is no wait list or reservations. There's a counter, some indoor booths and a little outdoor patio. Would not recommend for a large group because it's quite small. Service was a little cold, but not bad. They didn't really say hello or acknowledge us, but they got us everything we needed and we didn't have to wait long. Coffee was good, and so was the food. I really enjoyed the crab and lobster melt, which was like a grilled cheese mixed with a lobster roll? The clam chowder was not the best ever but still good! My kids enjoyed the Mickey pancake which was quite cute. Would recommend if you're in the area and looking for a quick brunch with a friend or two.

Excellent breakfast in Sausalito! We were driving through and happened to see this cute restaurant/coffee shop and decided to have some breakfast. Walking in we knew it was going to be excellent as it was busy first thing in the early morning with locals. Hostess/waitress was very friendly and got us served immediately. The cooks were so fast and the food came out to perfection. If we ever go to the area again I would absolutely stop by

The food i s still great. I love the Crab and Lobster Sandwich. The reception is is something else. They need to make a better way of greeting and making customers line up. One of the server is a little bossy and doesn't know how to be cordial. They have a lot of people lining up so she can get sassy. The seats outside could be nice to look at but when the breeze comes in, it's cold.

10/10 absolutely loved it here! Good old fashion diner interior with a cute blue exterior that matched the town of Sausalito! It's such a cute spot, very small interior so don't really recommend coming in a huge group but perfect for small families or groups of 2-3! Service was great, you can tell they are attentive of who is a regular and who is new in town haha. They're all so kind and patient, quick service and food came in under 10 minutes! All the food listed is 10/10, would highly recommend stopping by here for food and then walking over to the main strip to stroll, grab a coffee or ice cream and shop. - Clam Chower was a favorite of mine and my boyfriend. We both agreed it's better than SF clam chowder bowls! It's super thick as apposed to being creamy but not in a nasty way. It's very hearty and filled with potato in each bite. Loved it!! - Large pancake was 10/10, the edges were crisped up (which I love) and the blueberries popped with each bite. No complaints, perfectly sweet and delicious. - House potatoes 8/10 nothing to write about but very delicious with the hot sauce provided on the table! Yum yum yum. Would recommend coming here earlier in the day, but if there's a line don't be scared! It's so worth the wait. Prices are not scary and you're getting so much food for your buck!

I wouldn't think so. It's tiny inside and animals that are not specifically service animals probably wouldn't be allowed. I've never seen one inside in any case.

Ever since I first heard about Fish oh so long ago, I'd been wanting to try them, but just never had much of a reason to come here. Other than to, you know, eat here. However, I had so much faith, in fact, that I even recommended this place to my buddy before I even made my way here. Thankfully, they didn't let me down, as both he and his wife loved the food here! More importantly, now that I've been, so do we! Although it takes a little bit of work to find them (they're on Bridgeway, but away from the touristy part and set back in a marina), Fish is well worth the effort. Not only is the vibe cozy and relaxed, but they've got a ton of seating both inside and out (love sitting by the water!). And, of course, the menu is awesome, as it's filled with so many options, from chowders, raw oysters, and salads to seafood entrees, pastas, and, of course, fish & chips. Plus, they also have menu boards highlighting the day's selection of raw oysters, crab, fresh fish, special entrees, "fish bits", and desserts that are just as interesting and unique! -- WHITE CHOWDER - Traditional New England Clam Chowder with Surf Clams, Cream, Bacon, Potatoes, Onion, Celery, White Wine, and Dried Herbs This was terrific! Although it could've been slightly thicker/chunkier, I liked the consistency of this - smooth but with chunks of potatoes. I also really liked how tender and meaty the clam was, too! -- RAW OYSTERS - Shigoku Oysters (WA) I had never even heard of Shigoku oysters before these, but they were terrific! The oysters were about medium sized with deep shells, which made them super to eat and I liked how they had a bit of sweetness and a bright finish to them. -- WHOLE ROASTED DUNGENESS CRAB with Tomato Sugo Drawn From Roasted Crab Shells over Soft Polenta I don't often order whole crabs like this at restaurants, but this was undeniably tasty. Aside from how messy this was to eat, the crab was sweet, the legs were pretty meaty, and I really liked how the sugo helped reinforce the taste of crab with the polenta. -- PASTA CON VONGOLE - Clams Served over Fresh Housemade Organic Egg and Semolina Linguine with Olive Oil, Butter, White Wine, Garlic, and Red Chili Flake LOVED that they didn't skimp on the clams, which were all so good, as well as the sauce and how it had a slight kick to it. The pasta had a very bouncy bite, too, but I wish there had been more of it and that it was able to hold onto the sauce better. -- FISH & CHIPS - Crispy Beer-Battered Local Rock Cod Served with Housemade Tartar Sauce and Wedge Fries Maybe my hopes/expectations were too high, as this was more decent than amazing. Mainly, while the batter was crispy-ish on the outside, it was a bit mushy on the inside. Still, the cod itself was pretty good and I liked the fries - crisp and not too potato-y. -- GRILLED CALIFORNIA HAMACHI with Housemade Pasta, Shishito Pepper-Cilantro Pesto, and Parmesan I'm so glad we pivoted to this when we saw it on the board - it was so good! The piece of hamachi was sizable, moist, and flavorful while the pasta was just as bouncy and held onto the sauce. If only they didn't use cilantro in their pesto (blech). Despite how Fish's food didn't amaze like how I had hoped it would, I think that has a lot more to do with the high hopes (expectations?) that had built up from the anticipation of finally coming here than anything else. Really, the only thing that might have been an actual bummer was the Fish & Chips, but even then, it was still notably better than others I've had. Besides, it's not like there's a shortage of delicious to pivot to instead! Fish, you'll definitely be seeing me again!

It was busy and lively (but not overly busy), and we enjoyed sitting outside on the large patio. In general, everyone enjoyed their food. The oysters tasted great (I thought they were briney and complemented well with hot sauce) but were small and probably not worth $4 per. I loved the flavor of the poke and the plate was a generous serving size. My boyfriend liked the crispiness and freshness of the fish and chips, but said there wasn't anything particularly special or standout. Our friends ordered various versions of the tacos and liked them, but they looked difficult to eat (small taco tortillas with heaping toppings!). There isn't much to mention for service since this restaurant does a line order, but it was interesting that waiters consistently tried to drop off the wrong food to our table. Otherwise, our actual food came out relatively quickly despite the lunch rush. After reading some reviews here I knew it was a small place, so I was pleasantly surprised I could get a reservation during our trip to Sausalito. My husband and I had recently enjoyed some caviar for the first time but we are no experts, and I was a little worried that he might not get enough to eat. Turns out we both left perfectly satisfied. The place is tiny but so elegant. The bar is right in front of the kitchen that is sparkling clean and the chef prepares everything right there. There is a little high top table too and there was a couple there when we arrived, but afterward it was just us and we felt like royalty treated to our private dinner. We aren't caviar experts by any means but Yo did a great job explaining the different caviar flights including where it comes from - turns out the white sturgeon is farmed in the Sacramento Delta. We chose the Menage a Trois white sturgeon flight and it was so elegant. Three kinds of caviar plus all these homemade breads and crackers to enjoy it with. Every bite was amazing and I think we only left a couple of chives. Afterward we picked a couple of other dishes - the Chawanamushi and the Dungeness crab ravioli. Both were exquisite- in flavor and presentation. For dessert we had the sweet potato - Yo described it as a ganache - which I couldn't really picture but it was a very accurate description. It came with asian pear and was just the perfect finish to our meal. I had a couple glasses of French bubbly with my meal - normally I can't do more than one glass of champagne but it was crisp and yummy and paired well with everything we ate. When we were finished we got our check in a cute sturgeon pulp science fiction book. It was the final thoughtful detail to a wonderful evening. Chef Lance is a real artist and he really thinks through the ingredients and the flavors. Everything was so delicious and creative. I hope we get to come back again someday.

My sister was cold and really didn't want to have to sit outdoors so we almost opted for to go food, but ultimately chose to dine anyways, and I'm so glad we did. I'll start by saying EVERYTHING was incredible. From the food down to the service we received. All of the staff we interacted with during our time there were very kind and attentive. For starters, when we arrived, I told our waitress we had a dog and she directed us to a table on their "indoor patio ", so we we're basically sat indoors, which was really nice. We weren't cold at all, and had we been, it looked like they had overhead heaters! We ordered their bread service, the warm trout dip, truffle fries, steak & frites, the burger, mussels/clams, the chocolate tart and creme brûlée. It was all delicious. While eating our appetizers, our poor pup got sick and threw up under the table :( we tried to discreetly clean it and felt really embarrassed. Entrées came out a few minutes later, and while eating our entrées, it happened a second time. At that point, we were ready to ask for the food to go, because we were feeling so thoroughly embarrassed. As I started cleaning the vomit a second time, our kind waitress came over and told me she would take care of it. I apologized repeatedly, and we felt sooo bad. She was so kind, and gracious towards us, telling us it was okay. I never got her name, but I wanted to let her know just how much we really appreciated her assistance and for not making us feel worse about what had happened. The way she handled the situation, was the epitome of dog friendly service. I'm not sure why our pup was so sick at the restaurant. My guess is he may have swallowed some water while playing at the beach. I just really wanted to express my gratitude for you all allowing us to enjoy a nice meal and continuously treating us kindly and respectfully after our poor boy got sick in your restaurant. Thank you again! If you're looking for a restaurant with delicious food, great ambiance and even better service, THIS IS IT

pain perdu and the super thin fries that came with the clams were the highlights of my meal…read more everything else i'd probably pass. oysters were not the freshest i've had for the price, omelet itself was yummy but i didn't really like the lamb sausage in it, ordinary croque madame sandwich / clams / mimosas. they have valet for $5, and the staff was all kind. we came on a saturday morning and called 30 min before our eta to make sure there was no wait. really nice vibes by the water and docks in sausalito, but nothing special about the food
