    Pork belly

Absolutely amazing! Some of the best dishes out I've had in awhile. My husband and I came here during our honeymoon as a nice celebratory night out, and Copita did not disappoint! We shared the baked Brie, artichoke heart, and pork belly apps. Baked Brie might have been the best of the the three, closely followed by artichoke (tho my husband would say pork belly). And then got the lobster pasta main. Which was delish! Pics attached. Cocktails were really good too - we got and enjoyed the smoke and choke, and the soured sailor Also, the service was wonderful, we enjoyed sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartender.

Very cute little restaurant. Food is cooked perfectly, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff.

Excellent meal and our server was super sweet. We were seated at nice table next to window. The Lamb pops were devine. I expected something small, however they were 3 huge chops. Clams also delicious, huge portion, great broth. Halibut and Spicy Cioppinio were both perfection. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Food was delicious. Small menu, with many great options. Friendly service, worth the splurge!

They have an extensive wine cellar and we started with a nice California Sauvignon Blanc and enjoyed the ambience of a roaring fire and the view of the bay! I started with a bowl of Lobster Seafood Chowder which was absolutely decadent with large and small chunks of lobster and potatoes, bacon ,leeks, cream and a dash of sherry! My wife had seared Halibut over a bed of creamy lemon risotto! I had the Seared Scallop appetizer which was 3 diver scallops in a marvelous sauce with greens! We topped it off by sharing the Blueberry Crème Brulee! An amazing dinner from start to finish! The presentation was fantastic and the chef should be commended! Friendly courteous service!

To start, our waitress was fantastic, she was very quick and attentive, zero complaints there. Our appetizers were great, we selected the pork belly and lobster bisque to start but then our entrees were not what we were expecting. I had the salmon and my boyfriend had one of their specials, the halibut, which we both found to be underwhelming. The star of the show turned out to be the carrot cake which was a ginormous slice and was perfectly moist. A must try! I don't know if maybe we selected the wrong entree dishes, not too sure if I would return for anything other than their carrot cake.

Reservations are limited, but they accept lots of walk-ins; prepare to wait a bit. While the restaurant is large enough, they also offer outdoor seating on comfy picnic tables with umbrellas. If you don't feel like waiting, they have a cafe where you can order the legendary popovers. Parking can be very tricky, but there are connected parking lots if you're willing to schlep a bit. Despite it being Labor Day, we only had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated for lunch. They have a great gift shop next door that you can browse while you wait. Plenty of Acadia and Maine merch, including popover mix. Our table was outside, which was great for the sun and warm weather, plus a beautiful view of Jordan Pond and the Bubbles, but unfortunately, there were so. many. bees. They warned us about the bees ahead of time, but at times they were a bit much. Our waiter recommended not getting jam with our popovers to avoid attracting the bees, and they're just not as good with just butter. Service is fantastic, despite it always being so busy. Our server was from Germany, and was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The menu is pretty expansive for a national park restaurant, and isn't too pricey for something a bit more upscale. They have plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and GF options, so there's something for everyone. My partner ordered the vegan veggie wrap and thought everything was super fresh. While I was very tempted by the New England Baked Haddock, I opted for something lighter and ordered the house salad and the vegetable chili. The house salad was perfectly dressed and fresh, and the chili was hearty without being overwhelming. Totally filling! Some might find the restaurant to be a bit overrated, but I think it's worth visiting once. Or at least grabbing some popovers to go. Get the jam!

Lots of waiting and honking etc. and overall it took about 30 minutes to find parking. There is a good giftshop so you can spend your wait time there or after you eat. We ordered the grilled cheese, the popover, and blueberry lemonade. Grilled cheese and chips were good. Popovers with jam and butter were good. If you get the 2 popover menu item you should know that you only get 1 at a time and they wait for you to finish before getting the other one. Blueberry lemonade was sweet but it had blueberry bits in it which I was not personally a fan of. We sat inside but The location is pretty and exactly as pretty as pictured. If you can take the time to walk down to the "pond" While the line and wait was long where we sat wasn't completely full. Even with that our server was just not the best. Took too long to even take our drink order, long wait between popovers just not the best service. The food runners were booking it to take food outside but we rarely saw our waitress. I say if you have a long gap in time go for it. Food isn't life changing or anything. I don't know if I would go back.
