    Pork belly

Absolutely amazing! Some of the best dishes out I've had in awhile. My husband and I came here during our honeymoon as a nice celebratory night out, and Copita did not disappoint! We shared the baked Brie, artichoke heart, and pork belly apps. Baked Brie might have been the best of the the three, closely followed by artichoke (tho my husband would say pork belly). And then got the lobster pasta main. Which was delish! Pics attached. Cocktails were really good too - we got and enjoyed the smoke and choke, and the soured sailor Also, the service was wonderful, we enjoyed sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartender.

Excellent meal and our server was super sweet. We were seated at nice table next to window. The Lamb pops were devine. I expected something small, however they were 3 huge chops. Clams also delicious, huge portion, great broth. Halibut and Spicy Cioppinio were both perfection. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

The view is the only redeeming quality, but the service and value fall far below what you'd expect in Southwest Harbor. On our first visit, my mom ordered blackened haddock and was served halibut instead. No apology, no correction -- just the wrong dish placed in front of her. That should've been our sign not to come back. We returned for our son's 4th birthday, hoping things would be better. They weren't. My beer took over 15 minutes to arrive and showed up warm, even with an ice glass. At that point, it wasn't worth drinking. I also ordered a flatbread and was charged $15 for something smaller than my hand. The portion size was honestly shocking, especially for the price. The worst part was the tip. This wasn't an automatic gratuity like some restaurants add for large parties -- the server manually selected a 20% tip for herself and then claimed our four‑year‑old "hit the button." That felt intentionally misleading and completely unacceptable. Two visits, two bad experiences. Beautiful view, but the service, honesty, and value simply aren't there. Sharing this so others know what to expect.

This restaraunt is located by the Jordan Pond trail and is a great spot to get lunch after the hike…read morearound the Jordan Pond, which takes a couple of hours. Since we came with our dog, we were seated outdoors. The outdoor seating is very vast and you are 8-9 feet from the next table. The views from the restaraunt to the Jordan Pond are excellent as well and make for a good dining experience. Service here is very good and prompt, which you will need after the hike. For food - we got the kale scenario and clam chowder. The clam chowder was excellent and the kale scenario salad was good as well but a little too salty. For the main courses, I got the lobster roll. It wasn't spicy or salty and was simply perfect. My son had the popover pie and he really liked the creamy taste of the chicken and vegetables. My wife and son had the local cider and they liked it. I had the blueberry lemonade and it was very sweet and they didn't have straws, which I didn't like. Overall, I recommend this restaraunt to anyone who is in the area.

I knew without a reservation we would likely have quite a wait time to get a table (which we did…read morehave to wait about 45 minutes or so), but we had just finished a long day of hiking the Bubbles then the Jond Pond loop so I figured we should try to get a table and at least try out the famous popovers. Plus it's a beautiful area, so why not sit down for a little bit and enjoy a meal? While we waited for our table, we explored the area a little bit and also explored their gift shop. There's plenty to buy, and they even sell their jam and popover mix which we bought both to take home for family to try. Once seated, we actually had quite a wait before someone came to take our order as well then there was a long wait for our food to come out also. After a long day of hiking with a toddler and a baby, I instantly regretted choosing to stop for food here. This is definitely not a place to go after being tired from a long day of hiking or when youre hungry or when your babies are ready to call it a day. If I'm being honest, the food wasn't impressive either. It was just okay. The popovers are nothing to brag about. I have never had or heard of popovers before so I didn't know what to expect but I felt they were a bit burned? I also felt they could've given a little more butter and jam with them as well. We also ordered pasta (so the kids could eat too). Nothing fancy there. But we ended with the blueberry ice cream for dessert and we were happy with that at least. Jordan Pond house is definitely a place you'd stop by for the views and to enjoy for historical purposes. 100% a place for tourists. It's a place I'd try once just to say I did it since I was in Acadia and likely won't get to come back, but I wouldn't necessarily come here for the food itself.
