I had never had Indian Cuisine, so I decided to check out this place. (I am a courier for Skip The Dishes, and Lighthouse is a popular pickup location.) My fiance checked out the Takeout Menu, and decided on Lamb Curry. As I do not like Currey, I tried the Butter Chicken. (It had been recommended by my friend.) Eve enjoyed the Lamb Curry very much, and the Butter Chicken was pretty good.. Three days later we decided to go Indian again. Eve decided to try the Lamb Kabob, and I decided to try the Classic Chicken Tikka. The Chicken Tikka was marvelous, but the Lamb Kabob was horrible! It was dried out, and tasted like fish. Still coming here somewhat regularily when we want indian They have addes some new menu items sincd i was last here including califlower It is very good, thier pakoras are still excellent and I still think of these guys first for indian food. The take out line up some times can get long, but they do their very best to speed things along taking orders and doing the best they can to keep their food awesome. Still get 5 stars in my book. I just simply do not dig this Indian food. I've given it a second try, and I felt the same way I did the first time, lacks the pop of flavours it should have. I've had five different dishes, none that great. I said after the first time I would never eat here again, but boom, for whatever reason I decided to give is a second go, and it's just disappointing. BE WARE ,MISSING ITEMS FROM ORDER . I placed a large ordered through skip the dishes and when it arrived the order was not complete. I called the restaurant because they are responsible for making sure the order is correct, the lady was certain the order was correct , checked the counter and no order left behind. She puts a man on the phone who was so rude saying he had video of him personally packing the orders and did not believe the order was wrong. Basically calling me a liar. when I asked how we could resolve the issue, possible take a picture of the order in front of me , he said there was nothing that he could do and hung up. Thankfully skip the dishes credited me the cost of the items that were not received. We ordered mild because the kids don't like spicy, the food was so hot even adults were complaining. So disappointed , I will never order from the Mission location again !! read more

Fresh naan made to order and to die for! All good was made fresh...expect to wait a bit but it's worth it.

Indian go-to. Basic wholesome food yet fastfood feel: essentially comfort food. Get the paneer tikka and chicken tikka masala. Service is fantastic and sometimes I've received triple naan orders seemingly by accident. Sometimes I order mild and get spicey but this adds to the flavor profile. They're like my Indian drug dealer; i don't know what I'm going to get sometimes, but its always good. read more

Seriously disappointing! The butter chicken tasted like very spicy (even though we ordered mild) canned tomato soup and the paneer dish tasted like Chinese food. The naan was also stale and burnt. read more

We've heard good things about lighthouse so we tried it. The man we spoke to was very friendly and our food was ready for pickup quickly. However, the butter chicken tasted like tomato soup and there was no flavour of coconut in the korma. Also, the two chicken dishes were just six VERY SMALL cubes of meat in a dish of sauce. The rice was generously portioned though and the naan was very good. I'm thinking it might have just been an off day as when my husband tried it with his friend it was very good and we know others who love lighthouse so we'll give it another try sometime. Everyone has an off day. They deserve another chance. If it's better then I'll review it higher stars. read more

The fish pakora was delicious! Lightly battered and seasoned cod. The food was very fresh and tasty everything was served nice and hot. The restaurant was clean and well lit. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others. read more

Great restaurant to check out. Food is tasty and service is wonderful. The owner is nice and easy to deal with if have any issues. I had a bad experience with one of their dish when did take out one time and he was happy to listen to what I had to say and assured me that next time I could taste a sample of the dish before buying it to make sure it was to my liking. I went got my dish and he didn't charge me either. I'll be going there more often, it's my go to for punjabi/Indian tasty food:) read more

I ordered the butter chicken and the fish pakora and both did not disappoint. The butter chicken was rich and creamy with tender chicken pieces and the fish pakora was nicely spiced with great flavour. I would definitely order again. read more

We tried it one time and all the dishes were liquidy: not much in terms of meat or veg. And the tikka masala tasted more like butter chicken. Disappointing. We would never go back, it's just not worth it. Still looking for a good Indian restaurant in eastern Surrey (this is not in Langley). read more

Just had a nice lunch here for the first time. I had the cauliflower, potato, and pea curry dish with garlic Naan. Very nice and freshly prepared. Nice little slices of fresh ginger arranged on top. Very clean place. This is one of the best I have found in the Cloverdale South Surrey area. Definitely would come in for dinner with friends and have it with a nice cold beer. I have tried many local East Indian food spots and this one is a keeper. read more
