Finally had a chance to check out this place after hearing about it a month ago ! I booked the last 30 minute session before they closed at 10 PM and was able to do four ( 2-3 minute ) mini plunge sessions in two of the warmest baths which were around the 47° mark I believe as well as hit the sauna a few times in between plunge sessions ! I've been working out for the past five days or so and I have had some pains related to playing wheelchair basketball as well as pain from a sprained ankle. After tonight's session, my pain levels substantially definitely went down which was really unexpected . Even though I had heard that cold plunges can help with recovery, inflammation and pain you really have to experience it I guess to really believe it. Money well spent . The place is also such a vibe and the customer service is a 12 out of 10 ! I feel so blessed that I live so close by to this hidden gem . Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

My friend and I are in town for work and this spot was around the corner from our hotel. We went every single morning. Couldn't think of a better way to start the day. We did the 30 minutes plunge/sauna. Just the right amount of time. And it's a beautiful little courtyard to meet people and chat. Lots of gorgeous plants and they even have a showers for after and coffee. What more could you ask for?

Main sauna - communal space that promotes "real life" connection. Rare thing these days!

Go pretty regular as a Venice local. Ideal to jump pop by to see friends and grab a drink ... or sauna and cold plunge for hours. Always good people, good vibes and good health with likeminded folks. Consistently 5 stars!

The masseuse went on top of my back on all fours lol. I started laughing when she did that, she started to giggle too. I told my husband she was so petite I didn't mind it. The spa areas were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I didn't bring a bathing suit, so I couldn't use the co-ed area which looked so peaceful and relaxing. The spa offered shorts for men, so my husband utilized the co-ed hot tubs. He said he was the only person in the co-ed area and men's side. In the women's area, where they had the hit tubs, women are nude. So, it's a little stressful at first because I never been to a spa where people are nude. But, I eventually got comfortable and enjoyed the hot tubs. The women's are that had the clay room, salt room, and sauna required robes. That area was so relaxing. The clay area was my favorite.

The skincare products they use feel nicer/better quality than what I've experienced at other spas. I also really appreciate that this is a 12+ facility, so there aren't small children running around. At some other spas, kids can be loud and make it harder to fully relax. Here, the atmosphere is much more peaceful, which makes a big difference when you're coming to relax

It's not crowded per se, but all the amenities are occupied - chairs taken, floor mats taken, etc. So, sure, it's not "crowded" but you can't really do anything in the co-ed area either. They also seemed to ration the towels, so you couldn't go into the spa multiple times unless you wanted to re-use your wet towels. Not really trying to do mental math on towel usage when I'm just trying to enjoy my life. The food was not it either. Solidly, 2 out of 5 stars. Not a lot of options. Ended up ordering two cold noodles. It wasn't very cold, and I could not chew thru the noodles at all and relied on swallowing them whole!? Last thing - I feel like the culture is different. Other korean spas I've been to really focus on the peace and quiet, and I understand there's always going to be yappers at whichever spa you go to. But, here, it seemed everyone disregarded the rule, viewing them just as general guidelines. Everyone was still quiet-ish but definitely making more noise than I've experienced at other places. Multiple people straight watching videos on their phones without earphones. The amenities are all there but just something not aligned here. If you're trying to relax a little bit, come during non-peak hours. Just know there are better options out there.

I work in LA but live in the IE and my hours are weird so sometimes if i'm too tired to drive home i'll stop by to rest for a few hours. always loved the convenience, however my last visit will be the final one. i've brought so many friends here, i've definitely spent thousands of dollars here throughout the years. I wanted to bring my 2 coworkers here to celebrate one of the girl's birthday. the others never been here before & we never actually made it inside. The security and the management were extremely rude and there was a major altercation which resulted in us going to Spa Palace (that place is actually so much better!) My friends have never been here as i mentioned so when we entered into the parking lot she made a wrong turn and went the other way so that we didnt check in with security. we are thinking no big deal we are literally about to go in and speak to them. the parking is free anyway so i didnt think it would ever be an issue. we were sitting in the car for a few minutes before we headed in. as we're getting ready to go, the rude security guard is walking towards us looking angry and bothered. i asked him multiple times what the problem was & he muttered something under his breath instead of communicating like a normal human being when somebody asks you a question. im thinking maybe he only speaks spanish so my friend who speaks spanish got out of the car to ask him what the issue is. this is when he says he's getting the manager and kicking us out for no given reason. then he starts arguing with my friend! a grown man at his big job is arguing with a lady, a potentially paying customer. the manager comes out & is telling us theyre refusing service because we turned the wrong way coming into the parking lot and said we were smoking which is not allowed. i told the manager ive been here many times, ive told the front desk before "im gonna go out to my car for a smoke and will be back" with no issues. i also said that had we known its not allowed to smoke in our car/on the property, we would have no issue respecting the rules but your security never actually spoke to us at this point my friends are extremely irritated. i tell the manager im taking my friends out for my girl's birthday and we dont understand what the issue is outside of you having a disrespectful and rude security guard. he tells us to stop yelling but nobody had raised their voice but this is when it escalated the manager straight up REFUSED to provide either his name nor the security. he did give an email which was " info@wispausa.com " to file a complaint. i asked how are we supposed to write a complaint without their names? he said to just include date and time of the incident. we went ahead and recorded them because clearly they are both trying to get out of consequences. this happened on 8/26/2026 at around 4:30 AM. really just disappointed after years of patronage to be getting treated unfairly for whatever reason and then when we were finally walking away the manager called us "p**sies" and yelling across the parking lot. Funny, when we were all standing right in front of him he had nothing to say. As soon as we walk away he wants to throw insults. I said "this is how you act as a manager?" he said basically that we started it. except we didn't, the security did, and one major difference is we are not on the clock sir. if my friends are irritated and they start talking back to you, thats your bad! you mishandled the situation. you chose a customer service job which means holding your composure when you have complaints and disgruntled guests. i also manage a business and have over 10 years of customer service experience. the way this man handled the situation was totally uncalled for and unprofessional. after all this, i was trying to keep the vibes happy with my friends. we found Spa Palace not too far away, and let me tell you!not only was it a much better experience because they actually let us in lol. but actually the facilities there are so much nicer, you have more privacy since its more lowkey (we ended up being the only ones there for a few hours which was awesome, total privacy!), everything was just way better. the shower areas are cleaner and more luxurious, the soaking tubs are bigger and the overall interior just looks really cool. from the security guard Big O to Alice at the front desk at Spa Palace they killed it. I definitely found my new place to spend my money at to the rude security guard and manager, i hope you get fired because you are bringing down the reputation of this place and its standards! what type of manager, a grown man, argues with 3 ladies across a parking lot calling us vulgar names? are you not embarrassed??

worst massage in town. no lie…read more at least for my experience. i brought my girlfriend here for a couple massage for her birthday. 90 minute couples massage. first five minutes was mild at best. we had to ask them to massage with a little bit more effort. shortly after it was pure sharp elbows, digging into our backs from the weight of their bodies, which overhang above. they use gravity and their elbows in an effort to avoid actually expanding effort or using their muscles at all. i don't know about you, but that's not a massage to me. shortly after i looked over to my side to notice that the man that was massaging, my girlfriend was sitting down on the bed lightly massaging her upper back with no more than a few fingers contact. there was no effort or work there. just sitting lounging doing the absolute minimum contact possible. this was almost the same for me however, my masseuse, also using only one hand, would pause for many seconds at a time before exerting some pressure then again another break of many seconds before pressure again. she was systematically conserving energy and then applying the minimum level of pressure from one hand only. after a couple warnings, she finally started to get that. i am not gonna leave us alone and she started massaging more correctly. then excuse the man who was pretending to massage my girlfriend and replaced him with a woman that was massaging me. then they sent one man to massage me who was lazy and barely doing anything so let him go when they sent him them yet. another one who is doing the same thing. at about 45 minutes i finally told him to leave me alone and just continue with my girlfriend. i don't know how it's possible that others aren't reporting this more often, but i cannot speak on what i do not know but what i do know is if you are sore, tired, and just looking for some muscle, relief and relaxation and you expect some discernible level of quality and effort than do not come here. these people do not care at all about giving you a good experience and i gave them multiple chances they are lazy and do not care about their customers at least not for my girlfriend and i if you doubt me at all, please read my other reviews. i'm very honest in my reviews and i take great care to be fair. and i write these to help others. it certainly doesn't provide me any benefit other than that. thank you for reading and feel free to contact me if you'd like more information

Did you know there was a Korean spa in Pasadena?? I didn't…read moreknow! So when my fiancé told me he booked us plus his dad a 2 hour spa in Pasadena I was pleasantly surprised that there was more to this than just a massage! Located on a main street with parking in the back - not much spaces and you have to be careful where you park because other spots are for other businesses. But once we found our spot, we went in and from the outside it looked small, narrow, and tall. But once we walked in it looked so different than it did from the outside! It was nice and dimly lit. There's a waiting room in the lobby as you wait your turn, cause get this - it's a PRIVATE session with us you and your party! They book sessions where you pretty much have this whole section to yourself without sharing with strangers. They let me in the dressing room first as two other women were still wrapping up their session. So my fiancé and his dad waited in the lobby until they were ready to let them in. They led me into the changing room that has a bunch of lockers, big mirrors, hair dryers, and bags for your wet swim suits to put in after! There's also 1 connecting bathroom to the changing room. Once I changed they led into the back room where the hot tub, cold plunge, and steam room was located. WOW. It looked so nice! Plus I was the only one there so I got to enjoy it by myself for a good couple of minutes! They told me that the other 2 ladies were wrapping up and once they left my fiancé and his dad could join me. They told me where to rinse off and let me just enjoy myself, and it was nice. The hot tub was nice and bubbly and the cold plunge was a nice escape from the heat. The steam room was nice but I couldn't last in there for too long. Our appointment time was 2pm but my fiancé and his dad couldn't get in till 2:10 and due to the 2 ladies that asked for a little more time to do a cold plunge and they let them rather than telling them that there was another party waiting. Once they finally left my group was able to come in and enjoy but they didn't get to enjoy these extra services long enough, maybe just 10 mins? Before we were told it was time for us to start our massages. They went to another room for a massage while I stayed in the wet room for my body scrub, I had to remove my swim suit so they can properly scrub me and UGH. They scrubbed me like they scrubbed away my sins! It felt so good and when they asked me to flip over I nearly slipped with how smooth I was! My masseuse/scrubber was an older women but she knew what she was doing! I had the body scrub, cucumber facial, body massage, and a hair wash/massage! It felt pretty worth it for me! After I was done they led me to the dry room to sit in the heated salt room and clay room. This was where I got to meet up with my group again and eh these rooms where just okay to me. You lay in there in a warm room with salt or clay balls around you. I got to chat with my fiancé and it seemed that there session was okay and he was quite jealous of what I got and wished he chose that too. After we were in the dry rooms for a bit we went back down to soak some more but they cut us out right on the dot at 4 and it was a bit of a bummer because my fiancé and his dad had much shorter times because of the 2 ladies before us. For me, my session was great but had to knock a star because my fiancé and his dad didn't have that great of a session and had their time cut short but still enjoyed it. Pros: You get the whole spa room to yourself but need to have a party of 2 or more Cons: If another group before you is late, they cut into your time and don't give you extra time to make up your full paid session

It is a sanctuary amidst the hustle bustle of Los Angeles in Korea town and safely located across from the police station. A plus parking is free in the plaza downstairs. The moment you enter you are greeted by the friendly office manager and you meet store owner Eunice. The hospitality is felt immediately. You are issued a locker and towels with a cute pink robe. You cannot wear bathing suits or shoes, but the robe is what you wear and the spa is so clean and smells amazing inside. They have various rooms such as charcoal clay sauna, infrared sauna, steam room, Himalayan salt room, Himalayan salt bath, cold room, oxygen room, mugwort tea bath where you pour the basin of mugwort tea and drench it over your body in a seated shower section. Mugwort tes smells earthy and helps with skin issues. You can do a body scrub to exfoliate your dead skin and your skin will be amazingly soft and dewy. They use a scrubbing mitten and you can request gentler scrubbing versus a new mitt which will be more firm exfoliating scrub. The massage is 1 hour long and extremely relaxing. You can choose green tea or collagen milk for your massage. The collagen milk left my skin so dewy and soft. In the end they wrap your hair into a cute bun atop your head and wrapped in a cute pink towel. The V steam is something new I never heard of before and tried for first time. You are in a private room and sit on a cushion seat with an circular opening and beneath are herbs heated and you wear a cute cloth robe to absorb the steam over your privates hence V stream -- benefits with cramping, hormones, constipation, fertility, etc They offer a biscuit and tea while you stay in treatment x 30 minutes. If it gets too hot you lift the robe upward and it is cooler for your body. There is an area for food that opens at noon. The menu is a variety like Bimbibap or ginseng chicken soup and more. I will definitely come back to try this eating area. Every room is meticulously designed, clean and relaxing. I felt pampered here and can't wait to return. From the moment my treatment began, the body scrub attendant's demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. Her tone of voice came across as harsh, and when she spoke to me, it was loud enough that other guests looked over. Since everyone is undressed during these treatments, that made me feel especially uncomfortable and vulnerable. The body scrub itself was much rougher than I expected. I wasn't asked whether the water temperature was comfortable, and the pressure felt unnecessarily aggressive rather than relaxing. I left feeling more sore than refreshed, which isn't what I expect from a spa treatment. This was also the second month in a row that I was assigned to the same body scrub attendant, even though I've never had her before and had always been treated by someone else in the usual wet room. It struck me as unusual, especially since I had previously noticed her speaking very harshly to other staff members. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it's taken constructively. I truly enjoy this spa overall, but I hope more attention is given to making every guest feel comfortable, respected, and cared for during their treatment.

Their bathrooms were great, and they have a huge vanity with hairdryers and basic items for when you were ready to leave. Both the shoe lockers and personal item lockers were secure and we had no issue or concerns with our belongings, but I did bring my Doc Martin's and had to spend a few minutes fitting them into a shoe locker. Eventually, we were told to download an app just to schedule the appointments. After going through all of that, driving 1.5 hours, and arriving at the spa, being told the appointments were not what we had scheduled was incredibly frustrating.
