This is a beautiful spa. The amenities are beautiful and well maintained. Unfortunately the service I received during my last visit was less than ideal. As others have mentioned, 'spa etiquette' is not enforced and some of the other women who go here speak loudly on their phones or wear bathing suits or take photos in nude/ dressing areas. This can make enjoying the nice amenities difficult. I received the goddess treatment and my friend received pure bliss. The massage area was semi-private but I was cold during the treatment. and I did not see the benefits I usually see after scrub treatments I've received at other Korean spas. The treatment was also shorter than I paid for despite spending more than 10 minutes in the steam room trying to warm up midway. Being cold and naked is not the norm during a scrub/ massage treatment. Most spas will use warmed products and towels to make the experience more comfortable. I would hope that spas that include gratuity automatically would offer more accomodation. That was not our experience here. There are other spas in the area that offer better services for a better price. BUT if you're going during a less busy time just for the amenities it could be worth it.

WOW, just WOW! So, I got invited here by my bonus mom as a wedding gift to myself. That same day she told me that it was an "ALL female" establishment if you know what I mean. I am talking about YOU in your birthday suit soaking up all the relaxation you could possibly imagine. I was beyond terrified at first because I clearly did not know what to expect. You are given a robe, an endless supply of towels and slippers. Once I got comfortable the experience was magical. Nothing like being lathered in essential oils and being flipped over like a rotisserie chicken on a massage table. I was impressed. I not only left the place feeling like a million dollars I also had such a confidence I didn't know existed. I highly recommend this place. I enjoyed the outside patio area. I truly cannot wait to go back, just healing from my C-section. I did snap a few pics but I was very mindful and respectful of my environment and surroundings.

No you have to be dress to eat here, yes there is food 3rd floor

Does anyone know what happened to the restaurant I know it closed but where did it go? Food was so good

they closed it and it's gone for good (If you're trying to ask if the cook went to work somewhere else, I highly doubt it). Olympic just isn't the hole in wall we used to remember and love, it's now overpriced, appointment only and doesn't seem to…

Is this only for women' or are there Mens services?

women only, period.

Is there food?

Nope! No food anymore :( BYOF or order with a delivery service.

Where can I find a current menu with descriptions and costs? Looking at scrub with massage & possible facial.

Masks have been lifted in LA. Do you still have to wear masks at this establishment? Do you still have to show proof of vaccination?

Yes, you need proof of vaccination but masks are optional. Temperature check too.

How much is day pass fees to use sauna and pools?

They don't allow a simple soak anymore. You have to book a treatment over a certain amount and/or be a member. But their prices are insane for both non-member and members. It's the most expensive spa prices I've seen in LA thus far.

Does anyone know when they will be opening again?

Website now says Monday August 16!!!!

Can I wear a bathing suit or is nudity mandatory?

Bathing suits are not allowed at this spa. If it helps... It is female-only, however, and no one will stare or make you uncomfortable. You will see a wide range of body types…

I would love to get a facial/extraction done here for my first time. Who should I book an appointment with?

Just call (323) 857-0666 to book an appointment

Is there an Age Limit?

I believe it is 18 and over

Is this woman only?

Yes, women only.

I have an unredeemed $200 gift certificate. Anyone interested in purchasing? Will be moving in 3 weeks and I do not have the time to visit.

me!

Best person to ask for when doing the goddess treatment?

I really dont think it matters. I went with 2 other woman and we all had three different women doing our treatments (one each obviously) and we all had thr same feedback at the end. I don't believe these ladies are meant to be sweet and friendly but…

My husband loved it. The massages are a little rough, so I asked for them to be a little softer. But, I'm kinda a baby with massages, like I don't book deep tissue type of massages. The masseuse went on top of my back on all fours lol. I started laughing when she did that, she started to giggle too. I told my husband she was so petite I didn't mind it. The spa areas were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I didn't bring a bathing suit, so I couldn't use the co-ed area which looked so peaceful and relaxing. The spa offered shorts for men, so my husband utilized the co-ed hot tubs. He said he was the only person in the co-ed area and men's side. In the women's area, where they had the hit tubs, women are nude. So, it's a little stressful at first because I never been to a spa where people are nude. But, I eventually got comfortable and enjoyed the hot tubs. The women's are that had the clay room, salt room, and sauna required robes. That area was so relaxing. The clay area was my favorite.

My day started with being shown where the changing/locker room is, what to do next and where the lounge area is. There are waters and cups and plenty of seating to choose from while you wait. The fireplace really elevates the lounge. Lana did my CBD oil massage. She was very kind and made sure I was comfortable. I'm not experienced with massages so I had a bit of trouble letting go control of my arm at one point, but she reminded me to relax. Afterward she brought me a drink which is probably normal for them but it was really nice lol. Again I'm not a seasoned spa goer. I really enjoyed the massage though. Next I tried out the sauna for a few minutes which was clean and very relaxing. Up next was my copper bath. When I stepped inside, I felt like royalty because it's set up so pretty with candles and flowers, it's a really nice tub with jets as well. I didn't want that to end haha. Next came my clarifying facial with Arely. This consisted of chemical exfoliation, extractions, an LED mask and a peel. She massaged me a bit as well which was nice. I wasn't sure if the extraction process did anything however because she applied no pressure to extract, it felt like just tapping on areas of my face but it's not a big deal. I can extract at home. The rest was relaxing! I finished the day off with Danielle, who was absolutely phenomenal. She told me exactly what we're doing and made me feel comfortable. First was the scrub, then she got a shower ready for me to rinse off and then brought me fresh water for after. Next came the body melt which smelled fantastic and felt really moisturizing. Danielle went out of her way to even give me a scalp massage and she sent me home with some of the body melt she used. I finished my day feeling at peace, soft and in a great mood. I do think I accidentally left my socks in my robe pocket but it's ok. No pictures because this was a total unplug day for me. No devices, no social media, just being present in the moment. Went on a Saturday evening and it was a bit busy but definitely not crowded. There still lots of space in the co-ed areas, including the dry saunas. They have a kitchen in the co-ed area that serves full menu until 11:30 PM, then after that its a limited menu. Its slightly overpriced...$23 for beef tofu soup that hardly had any beef. The taste was very meh and it made me wish I had spent it at BCD instead. Each of the men and women spaces have their own wet area that includes 3 different pools and steam&dry sauna. That made a huge difference. The spa itself has everything, it's 24 hours, and the valet situation makes it convenient for LA. If you're someone who actually knows how to use a Korean spa properly and wants to hang out for a while, I can see why people like this place. That said, it was busy. Like very busy. They had even run out of robes at one point, so we had to wait for one, which was kind of wild. And compared to the other spas I've been to, the massage prices here were also crazy expensive. I'm still personally a little shy with Korean spas in general, so I don't think I fully relax the way other people do in these spaces, but this was the first time I felt like I actually understood the flow of it better. I'd come back to use the facilities, especially since it's open 24 hours, but I probably wouldn't come here for a massage at those prices.

My husband and I came to Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa to celebrate our wedding, and I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. We were being treated by a friend as a wedding gift so we had a specific budget to work within, and I had absolutely no idea which treatments to choose or what would make the most sense for us. Before our visit, I called and spoke with Carla, who was incredibly patient and helpful. She walked me through all of the services they offer, answered every question I had, and gave us amazing recommendations without making me feel rushed or pressured. When we arrived, Samantha checked us in and happened to overhear my husband mention to me that he's always wanted to try red light therapy. She immediately offered us both a complimentary 10-minute session. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and only the beginning of how special everyone made our day feel!! My husband had his massage with Nadia and said he has never felt better after a massage. She appreciated his direction and tailored the entire tx to exactly what his body needed rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. He cannot stop talking about how amazing he feels!! I had my cucumber and honey body cocktail with Melissa, and she was an absolute angel. She was so warm and sweet, and the tx itself was incredible!!! From the moment she introduced herself I could tell she's not only exceptional at what she does, but genuinely cares about creating a wonderful experience. When I mentioned that we were celebrating our wedding, she completely surprised us by arranging a complimentary 45-minute couples Moroccan bath after our individual treatments. Blanca, the bath attendant, had everything beautifully set up for us in a private room with ambient red lighting, two huge tubs filled with essential oils and jets, full glasses of champagne, tea, and snacks. It was romantic, luxurious, and so so thoughtful. Just the perfect way to relax together and *soak* in this new chapter of our lives. Every single person we interacted with made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Everyone seemed genuinely excited to make our experience special, and it was overwhelmingly beyond anything we could have hoped. We can't wait to come back!!!

Tomoko Spa is located on a very busy street, but you forget all that as soon as you step inside. They do a really great job of creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The masseuse puts the perfect amount of pressure, and that combined with the warm water, almost put me to sleep, haha. For the body massage part, the masseuse asks you what parts you want focused on and how much pressure you would like. They are also really good at checking in at various parts of the massage to make sure you are completely satisfied. I really appreciated how thorough they are with the massage and also how proactive they are in making sure you are enjoying the experience. At the end of the massage, we were given hand-whisked matcha tea to drink, and they also provided us jelly, a handwritten note, and a rose to celebrate our anniversary :) We had such a lovely experience, and I cannot recommend this place enough, whether to celebrate a special occasion, or just to treat yourself! ** If you book a couple's massage, they provide complimentary parking in the lot next to the spa, otherwise there's paid street parking or parking garages available nearby
