Cozy place to sit and enjoy a (very strong) drink with friends. Most of the patrons are "the hipster crowd" so if you're not down with that, you may want to move on to the next place. Bartenders are very friendly and provide quick service even at busy times. Never waited more than 5 min to order my drink. Try the dead mans chest or the violet drink. The combinations sound crazy but somehow really work well together. Enjoyed the art work and quirky decor throughout the place. Usually have live music for you enjoyment as well. read more

My husband and I came here after dinner one night. This was BY FAR our best experience here in Orlando. They bartender was a super nice guy who shared some of his knowledge on the surrounding areas. They really know their shizz here and we found out that they have meetings with all the staff to come up with unique cocktails for the ever changing menu. They take the time to make their own twist on some famous drinks using sauces or jam either made locally or by the bartenders them selves. Super low key. But phenomenal drinks. Such a chill and laid back bar down Mills. I would've never even noticed it if my friends hadn't invited me down on a Wednesday night. It's non-imposing and divey, with music performances to match. Live performances from a band who's atmosphere made the entire room come alive on a weekday. There's seating inside at the bar, by the stage and in the two rooms that look like your cute grandma's vintage living room (nude paintings included). There's also a back patio area, some seating on the side and in the front. Their drink menu is unique and apparently ever-changing, with eclectic and witty names drafted on a chalkboard and clear descriptions for those of us not quite ready to take the dive into mysterious drinks. We spent the entire time sitting on one of the couches talking and listening to the band, and it was a great vibe from everyone there. This place is great. Right next door to other bars so you can walk back and forth. There were tons of different areas to wander around with tables, chairs, even a sofa in one room to sit and hang out. There must be another bathroom but one we saw was awkward right off a small dance area. The back bar was kind of hidden down a walkway and really neat to go back to when the line at the bar inside was 3 people deep. i come here every week for our cornhole tournament. everytime i have come the bartenders have been great and the drinks were on point. Their alcohol selection is fantastic. This has the quality of a speakeasy bar with open accessability. They dont need any gimmicks to get you in the door. they may need gimmicks to get you out of the door because its hard to leave. I can't say enough good things about the cocktails or the bartenders. I've tried a few of the creations and they are all delicious. Most recently I fell for the Junebug. It wasn't just her good looks. Oh she's a looker with her bright red color and twig of rosemary for garnish. She also has character and good taste. Lil Indies has craft beer selection and wine if you are so inclined. They are smoke free which is great. They do offer a patio to have a smoke or to sip on your drink. The cocktails are around $9 but they are worth it. If you need some food there is normally a food truck outside. read more

Came to this bar because will's pub next door had a cover that evening. Stopped in with a coworker for a few post shift drinks. As a tip, it's a beer and wine bar only, which I found out after ordering a jack and coke. I ordered a pbr which they didn't have. I found this especially odd considering the hipstery nature of the area. The local art on the walls was pretty cool and the other customers seemed so as well. My only real complaint was that the music was way to loud to talk over and it's not even like anyone was dancing. read more

What a gem! My friend and I randomly wandered into this place after having a fantastic meal at tako. First off: the service here is amazing. The bartenders are extremely friendly and timely. Second, the drinks are delicious!! We had the Fired Up cocktail which is boozy, smooth and tasty. Highly recommend. Finally, the ambience here is very chill. It has a neighborhood bar feel to it and seems to draw an older crowd who are regulars. The decor is a no frills place with a strong emphasis on good, quality cocktails and drinks. Figured I try it since it is down the road from Barts bar. .. not sure if it was cause of the day of the week (Monday) but it was pretty dead they did have a live do spinning a very eclectic mix of music. They do have hand crafted cocktails and decent craft beer. . I'm a sucker for that. . This place is really easy to miss if you're driving by, but it's a very hispter-happening place. It shares a building with Will pub, like a duplex. The drink specials are hand made very, very tasty. I went here on the suggestion of a friend and I was so pleased! We went on a Wednesday night and there was this great band playing. The front man was like the love child of John Witherspoon, Willie Nelson, and Buddy Guy. The cocktails were really good and the crowd was friendly. Definitely worth repeating. read more

Worth staying up late on a Wednesday! You're probably phoning it in on Thursday at work anyway, so you might as well hang out Wednesday night. Eugene Snowden and his group (Ten Pints of Truth) preformed as if they were conducting a master class on Blues. It's the coolest history of music class you can take (info about the artist/year songs being performed and songs that feature different styles) and awesome drinks. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is chill and friendly with people of all ages. I will definitely come back on Wednesday nights to listen to Eugene Snowden and his group's lesson on various genres (fingers crossed for more Blues). Kudos to Lil Indies for supporting/featuring live, great art. read more

really great drinks but they need to fire their DJ. He's a major buzzkill. i was dancing, not seriously, kinda making a fool of myself. Typical stuff, not intending on ruining anyones fun or being a bother. He came up to me and said "if you dont like the music, you can just leave." IMO the DJ should be increasing business, not driving it away for the sake of his ego. Just really disappointing because i actually liked this place but probably wont return. i feel like he'll be watching me if I ever come back. read more
