My family of 8 had the best hibachi style food and service that we have ever had. The waitress was fast Yet extremely efficient. She made us feel welcome and treated my 2 grandsons like the real customers they are. The chief was great with my grandsons, and called them by name and gave extra special attention to them. The preparation time was a real show for the boys which made us enjoy it even more. The food (scallops, chicken and steak) were all prepared perfectly. I was one of the very first customers. Sushi is always fresh and the Chef is more then happy to make something off menu. Habachi Show is the BEST of all. There were only two reasons i gave this 4 stars. The first was that we had a 6:00 reservation, and we showed up on time, but they made us wait until close to 6:30 to be seated even though there were clearly open tables. Not cool. I ordered off the hibachi menu, which includes many free extras with the meal (i.e. salad, soup, 2 appetizer shrimp, fried rice, and noodles). The restaurant is similar to Benihanna where the chef comes to the table and cooks your food in front of you. Dinner and a show. The miso soup was very disappointing, and this was the second reason for 4 stars. The rest of the meal was smooth sailing. The chef arrived at the table and started cooking our meals. The food was delicious and it kept coming--and lots of it! I ordered the chicken and scallops, and the scallops were cooked perfectly (not underdone or chewy) and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and was full of flavor. The chef was very nice and hospitable. By the time the chef left, I was so full that I could not even bare to look at the dessert menu (but I did, and it included fried ice cream and fried cheesecake (Oh My God!!!!)) Yup, he is the MASTER.... while the adjacent room with all the spatula and knife throwing entertain the diners and get the applause, the guys behind the raw fish and octopus. These soft spoken men master the raw fish game. Service is very good and attentive. The decor is upscale and hip. Not a big fan of sitting with complete strangers and being entertained by juggling knives and food particles, but am a big fan of the sushi and sashimi that comes over the bar ledge. The picks tonight were: Steak Fried Rice for our daughter Adult swim: Crunch Roll for $6.95 was OK for the $. Dancing Eel Roll was Rocking for $10.95.. would have again and again! The Sas Eel and Sas Octopus were healthy portions. We had enough food we didn't go for the goyza.. which we usually do dining this way. Wife opted for the house made (not frozen) Egg Rolls (more like gourmet spring rolls). They were very good served with a sweet-Sriracha sauce. My girls and I came here for an amazing night of food fun and laughter while in myrtle Beach. I did a vacation rental sales meeting and got $100 in vouchers to spend there, as a choice of many. Very entertaining. The chef was cute and very funny! The food was very good. I think I just really like Hibachi. In any event, I wish we came earlier in the day so we could've went shopping at the attached mall. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the 30 minute ride there. We stayed on North myrtle Beach and this was farther into the actual city of Myrtle Beach. But no biggie. We eat sushi regularly and thought we would give this place a try while on vacation. We were both extremely disappointed in the quality of the fish and rice (too much vinegar, bad consistency and taste). The raw fish(ahi) was very metallic in taste. My boyfriend's assorted six piece nigiri had no variety....all 6 pieces were poorly cut yellowfin on too much rice(and normally I would be fine with a lot of rice! but there was something about this rice that was very...off). Although they roll to order, nothing tasted fresh. I regret not saying anything or letting the waitress/manager know but we're not ones to cause a fuss in person, besides, our waitress (Susan) was absolutely wonderful and very friendly! I feel like we threw $50 out the window... :( If you do eat here, I would recommend the hibachi or maybe a specialty roll that's covered in tasty sauces/crunchies so you don't taste the fish. read more

I was excited to see they had outdoor seating so we ventured over on a Saturday afternoon for a light lunch. Or so we thought. There is nothing light about their hibachi servings. They will feed a small army. On weekends, they don't do a lunch size/special, but will honor the early bird specials all day. We ordered the hibachi dinners for $13.95/each. Albeight, a bit pricey for lunch ehh? It came with soup and salad. Both had zero taste. A clear broth soup and iceberg lettuce salad with nothing on it. There is no nutrition there. Why waste the effort? The main course was really good though and cooked well. The food came quickly for us, as it was Saturday around 2pm. Might be a different story during peak hours. They seemed to have a nice, good size bar inside and the drinks looked good. I'd be up for giving them another try. read more

But the air conditioning is not work is the employees take forever to bring out glasses of water. This is a huge problem considering we have an elderly person with us who is on blood thinners. So I hate givin this place a one star and its not abou the food but rather the Manager, we have been going to this place atleast once a month since we moved to myrtle beach area and love the food and staff is always a pleasure. So today we turn up for lunch knowing hibachi only starts at 2 pm we were ok with it but with a party of 5 with 2 small kids the manager shows us to a tiny booth also seating another customer who arived after us. First thing i noticed was a dirty booth food on the floor from prior seating and dirty tables, the manger points me to this seat and i simply stated its dirty and way to small with a basicaly empty resturant (maybe i know why now) she gave me serious attititude then rather seated the patron who came after me past us then pulled two tables together and gave me this facke enjoy your meal. I am sorry this place has disappinted me me and i doubt ill be returning. And the Manager was the last person i expected to treat a regular patron in this way! read more

After 1.5 hour wait time, we finally got a cook. I've worked in the restaraunt industry for 5 years. Typically the server or manager would come by and let you know they're experiencing a shortage of cooks. The waitress just avoided us most the time, until I asked whats going on.
