Just got done eating my food and couldn't get here quick enough to write a 5 star view. What a blessing to have not only whole plant based food but ALSO gluten free?!! And it was sooooooo delicious. I had the carrot lox toast that was perfectly tender and smoked, the cream cheese was some of the best plant based I've had and loved the gf buckwheat toast points. I also had the pumpkin curry and the flavor profile is better than you can ever imagine. It is spicy which i love. Loaded with veggies and wild rice. Lastly, I ordered the goddess bowl with beetroot hummus, carrots, butternut squash, cauliflower, quinoa, kale, pumpkin seeds and a maple tahini and as soon as i ate it I felt the love. Saw a random article about this being some bomb vegan food. Wifey likes vegan food and I'm a simp so we went here yesterday. Menu sounded good enough but I was skeptical to say the least... The food here is awesome. My wife got the Mushroom Carne Asada bowl and the flavors were fantastic. I got the philly cheese steak bowl and it was also amazing. The mushrooms and potato hash work really well together. Yum. The Tuscan White Bean Soup was also great. Perfect since it was a little chilly. The only thing better was the service from their staff member. My new favorite spot!!! Literally has the most incredible food that is so, so, SO delicious!!! Tasty, healthy, and loaded with flavor. If you haven't tried this place yet, I highly recommend it. I got the Mushroom Asada and it was super yummy!!! I love that this place is not only vegan but it's soy-free, which is a major plus in my book! This is a great vegan spot. I got the ahi beet poke bowl. The portion size is huge. I would love if they did a smaller portion size (or maybe did a small and a large) for a little lower of a price. I've been here a few times now and the food is excellent. Hearty portions, really fresh ingredients, and everything tastes amazing. My favorite is the 7 Layer Slayer, a really nice burrito-type bowl with chickpeas, black beans, potato hash, and Mexican rice, topped with guacamole and crema. It's a big meal and a good value. The pumpkin curry is also amazing - a really good curry flavor with a bit of sweetness from the pumpkin, perfect for the fall season. The white bean soup is also an excellent accompaniment, though it doesn't seem to be on the menu. And I would be remiss not to mention the handmade frescas and juices, which are also really top notch. The restaurant cute, relatively small, with a few curbside tables. That staff are very friendly and helpful too - I usually like to get my food to go and the staff are nice enough to bring it out to me in the car. Wow, what an amazing find! The food is incredible! Plant based or not, this place rocks! I'm an expert at ethnic restaurants, like Indian, so when I tried their pumpkin curry I was shocked at how good it was. Usually vegan food is good at best. This place is great! The lentil chili was so good I almost ordered a second to take home. On top of all that, the menu is varied with lots of flavor options, the owner was a super nice guy, and the price point especially for food made from scratch with fresh ingredients was excellent. I already loved beets, but even if you're not sure how you feel about them, try them prepared this way because this dish is amazing! These meals really taught me something that if the seasonings and accompanying ingredients are done well, it almost doesn't matter what they're on (meat va. plant-based food). If you're a fan of hearty, filling, flavorful food, then this is the spot for you. Even if you're not vegan, I would recommend trying this spot out. My wife and I went for lunch on a weekday afternoon. Wasn't busy at all, so we got to meet Gus and get his recommendations. Great guy and really made our experience. We ordered the goddess and seven layer bowls, their creamy potatoe soup, and their little desserts. I really enjoyed the seven layer bowl and would definitely get it again. Everything was cooked well, and the potatoes with their creamy sauce and everything else in that bowl go perfectly together. Portion sizes are pretty generous as well. If you have a sweet tooth, I would recommend their chocolate ganache with sea salt. Their dessert is like a small sauce cup size, so I would recommend getting more than one. Pro tip, it goes great with a banana. There's plenty of free parking in the little plaza that it's in, and it's close to the beach so you can pick up food and go eat it there like we did. My friend isn't selective about the food she eats, but is open to trying other food and she loved her meal and mine. As a mushroom lover, I couldn't be happier with this dish! The salad was also really good, although I'd ask for lighter on the dressing next time. There were pomegranate seeds and yummy "bacon" bits made out of bacon that was so smoky and delicious! Can't forget about the tasty drinks! My husband and I like to explore healthy food places. Especially when they are small businesses because we own one ourselves and we understand how important are the little things. This place is lovely, truly a hidden gem. Dishes are curated carefully with precision. The owner is fantastic, super personable and attentive. Location is literally 2 min. drive or 10 min. walk from the beach. Two things that bother us a little are that there is no seating, I understand why there is none but it would be nice to have that option :) otherwise you can eat at the beach in nice environment! We ate 5 different bowls and 4 of them were really spicy... If you like spicy that's great, if you don't you will suffer like us lol. The Philly, BBQ, Carne and Curry should have a mark on the menu that there is some serious kick to it. We both truly hate spicy food and no one told us they are spicy... so... :( delicious but spicy. So keep that in mind. The Poke bowl was fantastic, our favorite, super refreshing and I could taste a little fish flavor yet it was none (perhaps seaweed hmm). Not spicy at all. We also had the deserts, chocolate and the blueberry cheesecake. Blueberry one was delicious, we didn't like the chocolate one as for some reason tasted a bit sour which doesn't pair well with cocoa notes on our palette. Rode a bike from the hotel to LilVegerie for some dinner. The soy free Vegan fare was what attracted me. Meet Jason and he explained the menu to me very well and kept me hydrated as the seating was in the sun (He did offer to move the umbrella if I needed) I was hungry so I chose both a salad and a bowl. The Chickpea 'Tuna' salad was great with an abundance of flavor and texture. The bowl Jason recommended was just as fantastic - Mushroom Carne Asada, it had a barBQue'y Mexican/Spanish vibe. I also enjoyed the refreshing 'Green Juice.' I am from out of town (ALA) but if I lived local I would eat here weekly. As I sat outside eating, I saw a steady stream of locals picking up orders to take home. Best vegan restaurant ever in southbay area. Portions are pretty big and the best part is that the people working their are very nice and friendly. The service was superb as well. We weren't planning on getting drinks but because it was so flavorful and the right amount of sweetness we decided to order them as well. We tried the cauliflower shwarma, goddess, Philly cheesesteak and the bbq jackfruit. The shwarma has a bit of a tangy sourness to it which makes it really easy to eat. You don't get tired of the flavor either. The goddess and bbq jackfruit had sweeter flavors and around eating 1/2 the bowl you start to get a little bit tired of the flavor. However the frescas really help refresh your taste buds and to be honest, after a bit you can't forget the taste and want to start eating again. The Philly cheese steak, I have nothing more to say. So keep my review in that perspective of a non-vegan, trying vegan food that they don't normally like. Aaaaaaand, I wasn't too into it. Just because I ate the dish I got, doesn't mean I liked it. It was okay. Great one-time experience. The food was filling, didn't make me bloated, but also made me tired with a slight tummy ache, but that's probably because I put extra hot sauce on my food. Service was excellent. There are no seats inside, only a few tables outside. Might not be comfortable on bad weather days. I'd say this is place is mostly best for takeout. We settled on the Ahi Beet Poke bowl and it definitely did not disappoint. The bowl was a fine balance of leafy greens, fresh and marinated veggies on a bed of wild rice. It was both light and filling, a bowl I would highly recommend! While the food was great, what really will have me coming back is the customer service. After taking my order, Jason and I sparked a conversation that ended up in him giving me a complimentary bowl for my mom who was being treated at the hospital nearby.
