This is a small restaurant that is open for breakfast and lunch. Employees are friendly and the breakfast food is good. Never had lunch there. Very casual, meaning it is not for someone wanting a fast breakfast. It is not usually too crowded, give it a try. read more

I gave this place five out of five stars, cause they are amazing staff and truly great food. It was three of us, and we have been there at least four times, since spending time in or around Pismo Beach area. We will definitely go back, when we come back to visit the area. Lil Bits is my favorite place for hangover breakfast or Sunday breakfast with the family. The food is always fresh and the service is always amazing. I always cheat on my gluten free diet and have a" Lil bite"of the homemade biscuits and gravy. When I'm not in the mood for breakfast I get one of their super amazing burgers. We happened on this out-of-the-way place thanks to our navigation system. We walked away each saying it may have been THE best breakfast restaurant evver! Biscuits are awesome, home fries and hash browns are too. My wife had the Momlette, I had a bacon-avocado omelette; they were terrific! Our daughter had the polish sausage, and it was very good too! LittleBits is completely off the beaten path, hidden but truly a treasure waiting to be found. Wait staff are extremely friendly, so much so you feel like your having breakfast with family. Decor is homey and inviting, and kudos for use of mismatched mugs; this personal touch really adds to the at home feel. Even though we are out of towners they treated us like regulars. Food is ALWAYS freshly made, portions are very generous which you could almost split every plate into two meals easily. Though portions are very large they do not skimp on quality ingredients. All of the items are homemade with the type of love and care you come to expect from home. No matter what you pick off the menu you won't be disappointed. Whether its the decadent biscuits and gravy, sausage, salsa, jam, pancakes, or a hearty scramble. Everything my husband and I have tried has been more than. satisfactory. Skip your run of the mill breakfast joints like CJ's or The Girls (shudder) and head over to Lil bits. Pretty busy on weekends, and single patrons are only given the counter as an option for sitting when seating is tight. We tried this place for the first time on Mother's Day so the wait time was to be expected. I was glad to see this place was busy and people were willing to wait. It is off the beaten path and I wouldn't have known it was there if my Mom hadn't suggested it. The menu was a manageable size with options for different types of eaters. Food was good, portions were good. The salsa is hot and delicious! Service was friendly and accommodating. The back room for larger groups is loud when full - brick wall echos and you share a table in some instances, with strangers which can be a little awkward. This is truly a hole-in-the-wall place. However, from the moment we walked in the door, I knew we had made the right choice. The the other patrons plate plates look wonderful , with large servings. Then when we ordered and I asked about the Hollandaise sauce it is made here from scratch with actual egg yolks, butter and a little bit of lemon juice. Just like it's supposed to be made. They accommodated me with my needs for my diet, and the food was so very tasty the eggs were done perfectly. We went to this place 2 times and had totally different experiences each time. The first time our food was very good, our service was decent and we enjoyed it enough to take friends there a second time. We bragged about how good the biscuits are and how yummy the fries were. The second time we went was horrible. It wasn't busier than it was the time before. Our food took about 45 min to come. Others were served much quicker and had ordered after us. I ordered the chicken wrap with no avocado letting the server that I was allergic to it. All the meals were served at different times, my sandwich had avocado and I had to send it back. My kids' meals were burnt French toast, overcooked hamburger and my husband's eggs were burnt and hardly any gravy on the biscuits. The waitress told us there was new cook. When my sandwich came back it didn't have the egg, blue cheese mayo or pickles, just chicken and lettuce and tomatoes. She said it would be taken off our bill and took the sandwich again. By now everyone else was finished. I told her no need I don't want anything else. She said she would comp my sandwich but that never was comped because I never received the food that I ordered. Very disappointing. Unfortunately we will not go back. read more

We are passing through and decided to give this place a try. Pulling up, I remarked that this is definitely in the 'hole in the wall' category. Saturday morning, the place was full, but we only had to wait 5 minutes. During the wait, the staff made contact several times and were very friendly. Food was ordered for 4 and came quickly... All correct. It was all good. Eggs, toast and home fries were excellent. The home fries were excellent! Biscuits and gravy were fantastic. French toast was the best!!! Great service, too! First of all, friendly young lady to greet us & she had excellent customer service, convenient location & yummy breakfast! I had veggie omelet w/o spinach & bell pepper, add avocado. Delicious! B&G were excellent esp. mixed w/ homemade salsa. Hubby got breakfast burrito w/ bacon & he enjoyed it! We ate outside w/ our dogs & the tables were picnic style w/ no backs, but it was pretty comfortable. Next time, we'll eat inside & sit more comfortably to enjoy the great food. Only negative was that some of the potatoes were too done for my liking. Great find for us, we'll be back. read more
