Music is always incredible here especially in the outdoor area where we were. Sun was beating but umbrellas over the tables were plentiful. We were seated promptly and some one came to our table with water and took our drink order quickly. It was wine so nothing to complex. When it came to the food there was a pretty straight forward menu. Slight mix up with the menu when we ordered crab cakes which was actually a crab burger. The crab burger was somewhat dry. I had the Lobster Gruyère Grilled Cheese which was very cheesy so no issues there. Felt there was just a little more that could be done with food but it was great overall! read more

Stopped by Lilly's to grab a bite for dinner, pictures online looked promising and food looked good. Walking up to the restaurant on a Sunday evening it was verryyy loud, a very talented man was perched nice and pretty on their stage singing with the speakers on the highest volume you could set them to. He was a very talented gentleman and blessed the place with his voice. But they could've turned it down a tiny bit. We got sat outside because it was way too loud to even think or read a menu to pick out my feast. The little Patio area was nice and pretty. There were flowers and tiny trees that the branches would catch my hair but it's alr I kinda liked the tickle and surprise attacks when the wind would rustle them. The waitress was very nice but a bit slow. Got our food in quick but took a while to come out considering it wasn't crowded at all. No water refills and no spoon for a soup we got. Our family was there last night following a memorial for our family who lived in LB. We had the private room and really can't say enough about the love, service and dedication of everyone there. We were a chaotic, emotional group celebrating the loss of a loved one, and the team handled everything with elegance, grace and seamless teamwork. Last night, my parents and I got together and wanted to explore the West End of Long Beach!! So, naturally, we walked into Lilly's because it looked very lively. The hostesses were very welcoming and friendly, and we got to choose our table. As for the menu, it's an okay selection that offers dishes ranging from fried foods to burgers to tacos and some Irish options. We were very hungry, so in addition to each of our entrees, we got an appetizer of mild wings to split. I ordered a veggie wrap, my dad got the grilled chicken panini, and my mom got the shrimp tacos. My wrap was soggy and dull in flavor, my moms shrimp were quite undercooked, and my dads panini was not panini-like at all. It was not pressed or warm. The saving grace of each of our meals were the sweet potato fries, and they weren't even that good. Also, we expected the wings to come before the entrees (since they were an appetizer), but it all came at the same time. In addition to the subpar food, the service was not too great. There was a table behind ours that took over thirty minutes to get bussed and the birds were all over it. Also, besides from taking our order, our waiter was pretty much nowhere to be found. We all wanted ketchup and mustard during the meal, but we had to wait around 10 minutes to ask for it because none of the servers were in our area. Brunch review: pleasantly surprised! Lilly's pulled off a good brunch! It was 6 of us girls and we all opted in for the bottomless drinks. It came to around $40 a head including tax and tip. Waitress was great. Our drinks were always full and she didn't rush us. I went for the egg sandwich and it was yummy. Very cheesy and the English muffin was nicely toasted. The brunch menu is a little small and it's very "egg" heavy, but there were some good options. They had live music which started around 2pm on a Saturday. We were at Lilly's today, the noise level was extreme but we overlooked it as it's usually the case there. We had noticed a change in the menu recently but we were fine with that. However, we were over charged by $14 for requesting waffle fries rather than regular fries as a substitute with our meal. No additional charge for that change was listed on any menu and we were provided with all menus by the waitress upon seating. The very efficient waitress Grace flagged the overcharge but was told by management that she could only reimburse us $8. We asked to speak with management. A woman came to speak with us who informed us that the menu states that we would be charged $3.00. Extra per plate. We told her no extra charge was listed on the menu. We explained that we frequently dine at Lilly's and in fact have never been charged extra, providing a receipt from the previous day to indicate that, and asked to see that menu. She instead came back over with no menu and informed us that she was giving us the refund but that it would fine if we return but best if we never returned to this establishment because a month prior we disputed a different over charge. We were shocked by her hostility as you should always feel free to point out a discrepancy in your bill. We procured the menu by going to the hostess station and getting it for ourselves. There was no mention of an up charge. She admitted that fact. She could have apologized and corrected the mistake that was made by them but she did not, she made it our problem. We will take her advice and not return. I'm saddened that a place we always enjoyed has changed so drastically. read more

Wanting to take advantage of these beautiful summer days especially on the weekends, I traveled from queens to Long Beach when I saw someone else's picture of their buffalo wings. I most definitely ordered them and my friend had them "reversed" which I recommend both orders. I completely forgot to take a picture of all the wings because we were just so hungry lol... but her margarita and my summer mule were really really good. Disgusting staff and treatment of customers. This is a review directed towards the nightlife of the establishment over Memorial Day weekend. At about 11:30pm my three female friends and I each payed a $10 cover to go inside and bought a $10 drink. After being inside for less than 10 minutes, someone threw a drink that landed all over my friend in the crossfire. There was some commotion and as we were standing around, a man in a black tshirt hit my leg 3x very aggressively as he was bending down to pick up a credit card. I said excuse me please do not put your hands on me, a simple excuse me would've done the trick. He proceeded to tell me he worked there and got all in my face and immediately threatening to kick me out. He says, "You wanna f*cking leave I'll kick your ass out I don't f*cking care." Keep in mind he's a solid 2 inches from my face. I'm not someone who gets into altercations but this was a man on a power trip who looked like he was on something!!! His anger was through the roof in a matter of 3 seconds and his eyes were so wide staring at me it was scary. He was walking away because I didn't want to interact and I was grabbing my friend's arm, which he saw, and he comes BACK TO ME to get in my face again. He proceeded to take the drink I had just gotten out of my hands and scream at me to get out, all while threatening my friends. I turned around and walked out. The guys in the front, a bouncer and what looked to be an owner, refused to give me my money back!! After being inside for 10 minutes, being screamed at by an employee for no reason. They said they would "look at the cameras" ... yea I'm sure. I understand these bars get a lot of drunk crazy people looking to fight, but to be aggressive like that from the jump to a group of women who did absolutely nothing wrong is absurd. The people this place hires are disgusting and that guy needs to be fired, and please drug test this man. I will never give this place a cent of my money ever again and I will be telling all friends and family to never return as they clearly don't respect their customers. I recommend everyone hears this loud and clear!!! Bar and staff is dangerous, Minnesota's is 100x nicer, organized, and respectful. read more

This was not planned but wanted something outside and next to the beach. It was near the beach not on the beach but close enough! The set up was very nice and the staff were friendly we got seated quickly and the food came very fast. The drinks hmmm not sure if due to it being bottomless that they made them the way they did. I am used to orange juice but it was more like watered down champagne with a splash of OJ. The food was really good I could not complain but we did order wings and they never came out but that was fine I was full off the breakfast burrito . The inside looked nice but it has a dive feel and sticky floors like most Irish Pubs or bars but I would give it another try read more

Came here with a friend for Lilly's nicely-priced Happy Hour, and the ambiance was so inviting that we stayed for dinner. Our bartender, being a local (like us), made us feel like a part of the gang. After our second round, she even bought us drinks. Being that it was before the late night Thursday rush, we had nearly the whole bar/restaurant to ourselves and could have an audible conversation. I gave 3 stars for two reason. One - due to having to use plastic utensils. If you can serve food on plates, you can give non-plastic utensils. Two - when I called to make reservation, 5 days in advance, for 8 I was told they only have outdoor seating for up to 6 people so we would have to be seated at two tables of 4 and could not go between tables to socialize. We understood and respected their keeping with guidelines. Once we got there we noted two tables of 8 who proceed to socialize between tables the whole time. Came here to take my boyfriend to show him the night life in the west end. The bouncer saw that he's from Washington state and didn't even bother to check his ID and immediately gave him the no. Mind you he is turning 22. Made excuses saying his ID was expired when it clearly showed May, 2023. He looked at my ID saw New York and let me in. Whoever is the bouncer needs to stop gate keeping and needs to actually check IDs. He didn't even check the two girls IDs behind us and let them in. I came here for brunch with a few friends and had such an odd experience. Three of us got the "unlimited brunch" which was described to us as "You can pick any item from this menu and you get unlimited mimosas, bloody marys and light beer" by the waitress. The prices ranged from about $10 to $23ish for the steak and eggs. We specifically asked about the steak and eggs since it seemed like a really good deal to have unlimited drinks for only $3 more and the waitress agreed that it was a good deal. There was no mention of any extra charges for anything either on the menu or by the waitress. Do, two of us ordered steak and eggs. When we got the check though there was a $5 upcharge for the steak. When we asked about the charge the waitress acted like we never had a conversation about it (there was only one other table so it's not like she was busy or confused us with someone else) and then said "I guess it's more because it's a higher cost dish" Wtf does "I guess" mean? Either you know or if you don't go ask a manager to come over. We brought up the fact that we specifically asked about that exact dish but she didn't seem to care and it wasn't taken off our bill. Now, we go out to brunch a lot so I know not to expect high quality drinks but the champagne tasted terrible and the orange juice came out of the gun soda comes out of. The champagne tasted almost like when wine starts to turn and tastes like vingear. When we asked what kind of champagne was used she asked if we liked it (and sounded surprised) and when we said it tasted kind of weird she literally said "well any place you go for unlimited brunch is going to use cheap champagne". The kicker though is that one of us didn't get unlimited brunch, he paid $8 for his mimosa and it was exactly the same. If you're giving crappy ingredients because it's unlimited then the people paying per drink should be given decent quality ingredients. The food was ok. I've had better eggs benedict at a diner, my eggs were undercooked (the white was still clear and gooey) and my friends eggs and steak were overcooked. I wouldn't go back even if someone was paying for my meal, solely because of the terrible service. read more

Then they tell us they will give us a free round because of their terrible mistake. (They also claimed the kitchen was so backed up, last place I would want to be I bet all the food was rotten). So we find another place. We come back to get our "free round" to go because why would we want to stay and get a drink there. THEY THEN SAY THEY WONT GIVE US DRINKS TO GO??? I was with a group that ordered wings. Wings were soggy and we each got different amounts. We all ordered 10 wings each and some of us got between 8-13 wings. The waiter we had was horrible. Only saw him twice for the order and check. Different waiter brought out food and drinks. (There was a total of 5 people there) A table of 5 had just finished and left). The burger was very good according to my husband and the fish and chips would have been delicious if the batter had of been crispy. I ate the fish and and left the soggy batter. Pity as it was very tasty otherwise. We asked for the check and when I looked at it they had put a credit card fee on before totaling the check..usually restaurants now give you the cash price and price they charge with a credit card. This pissed me off and I think they are trying to scam people. I asked for a check without the cc fee as we were paying cash and the waitress informed me they will take it off when the ring it up.
