So I came here about 3 and a half years ago when I had the most horrifying and disastrous experience of my life!! Nail techs not listening to what I wanted and what I'm paying for but giving me services of what "goes with my hands" I finally came back! Reason being is I REALLY wanted my nails done andddd the technician by the name of Amanda working here. I'm going to tell you I'm SOO ecstatic that I came here despite my past experiences wit this place. I know something's have had to change if they're still in business. Yes FOUND that reasoning. Amanda! Yes, she is a family member BUT she also does amazing nails. I got a mani pedi gel and the price listing is $53. It's solid especially for the services she provided. She really changed the game for me. I did a gel top for my nails and she shaped them so perfect!! They look like acrylics but they're my nature nails!! I'm so excited since it was crunch time and they closed at 7pm. I decided on not doing negative spaces or any designs but I will in 2 weeks oh and might I add this is the first time that I've got a "matching" set. lol I'm highly satisfied. And I now highly recommend. But you gotta book wit amanda! She will fix any mistakes before moving forward and she will give opinions of what colors or designs to tack onto your nails. Yay yay. I went to get a pedicure and they offered a manicure as well. I accepted it but after it was done I was not impressed. The acrylic was thin and after a week or so all my nails snapped off, breaking in half. I went to get them removed and she said it'd be $20. Worst place to get a pedi. Some very inappropriate things were said. The value of the pedi I received today was ridiculous. I paid $20 for a spa pedicure and the man didn't even scrub my feet or anything. It's an extra $5 for dead skin to be removed when I can go to Kings canyon and get all it done for $12. Service: horrible. The owner was rude and had an annoyed tone the whole time. The man doing my mother's toes were telling her things like you like it when your husband spanks u? Your toes at so nice. For the price I guess it's okay. You get what you pay for. But I won't be going back. They keep the place clean but their tools are not. They kept me waiting forever (and I was the only one in there). One of the workers came in so late, Lily was complaining to me about her. She came in late, loud. I don't know where to start if I could give this place a zero stars I would . It was the absolute worst experience I've ever encountered. My husband usually gets a hair cut next door at Monchis barber shop and I usually go with him and would always see lily Nail spa open next door so I decided to give it a try since I would see some people walk in from time to time . I wish I would have read the reviews on yelp before I entered that door ! I walk in and they sit me down and ask what I want. I show them a picture of simple semi short French tip nails I got done at a salon called queen bees previously. I don't get my nails done often. I've only ever had them done a few times. Well as soon as she started I knew I made a mistake. Lily was aggressive and rude. Two teens walked in together and went straight to the back maybe to use the restroom and lily looks at me angry and ask if they were with me? I said no and she looked at me like I was lying. She didn't ask how long I wanted my nails and cut them super long and I told her if she could cut them shorter because the picture I showed her was so much shorter. She got mad and said "I only cut once" and grabbed my hand aggressively and cut them shorter but again she didn't ask me if the length was okay. And she smashed my hand on her lamp while applying the nail gel and messed up the nail and I showed her and she just pushed my hand away. She made me pay before she even finished her job. When I left I showed my husband and he saw that the nails were crooked and uneven and different lengths and told me to go back and ask her to fix them. So I did and she fixed them but was obviously upset the whole time and when she was done they were still ugly. I ripped my nails off less than a week later. DON'T COME HERE this place is HORRIBLE the owner is super rude and BEWARE of the pedicures they burned my mother's food here and the lady that did the pedicure (the owner) made her foot Bleed. Also the acrylic nails are HORRIBLE looking the don't even push back cuticles or anything.
