I take my nephew out for a special birthday meal every January, a tradition that has always been treated with care and attention. This was also our first visit to Limani. The restaurant was beautiful. Very quiet for a Saturday afternoon with only a handful of diners present. This is the first time I have ever booked a birthday reservation for my nephew through my OpenTable VIP account where the special occasion was neither noted nor acknowledged in any way by the restaurant. The complete lack of recognition made the experience feel impersonal and inattentive, which was particularly disappointing given the significance of the celebration. For reference - My boyfriend and I pretty much only go to 131 Main and Mano Bella because the service, value and food are excellent. We went to Limani for a change of pace. While it was my boyfriend's first time here, it was my second. I visited a couple of years ago with friends. I had the same experience both times. Drinks - A Mojito and a Belvedere martini with a twist. Mojito was unbalanced and had too much alcohol (I know some ppl love that, but not me.) The Belvedere martini was good. Boyfriend thinks 131 Main does a better job. Lemon/chicken/rice soup - Tasty. I'd have more "stuff" in it ie rice and chicken. Pita with Three Greek Spreads - Excellent. We would order again. Seafood/Lobster Pasta - Mano Bella makes a much better seafood pasta which I think they only serve seasonally. Limani's version gets killed by the tomatoes in it. The tomatoes mask the delicate lobster/ seafood flavor. Sorry, can't remember if it was just lobster pasta or a seafood pasta. Mano Bella's also had more seafood in their pasta. Either way Mano Bella's is far better because you can taste layers of flavor not just tomato cream. Spanakopita was ok. Not the best I've had which I would expect at a place like this. The flavor wasn't as rich as I would have liked. While they don't make it like they used to, Gateway to Athens in Concord used to make a thick square chuck of Spanakopita which was my reference point for this meal. The tomato salad on the side was too salty. Neither of us work for or are affiliated with 131 or Mano Bella. We simply support the places we like and with our budget this upcoming year even more pinched, we want to go to places that we know, for sure 100%, we are going to have a lovely meal together. read more

It was different that what I was use to but I love it. It was very comforting. I had the salmon that was served with mixed vegetables, finished with capers & lemon butter. Friends went on a Friday night for the first time and liked it so much that they took us there three days later! Lyman did not disappoint. Our server was the best. She had great suggestions and was personable as well as professional. Ask for Maria, at least I think I'm remembering her name correctly... I love a restaurant that actually utilizes the chat feature on OpenTable. I, as the consumer am able to update the establishment accordingly, and they are able to stay informed and respond. I had a party of nine persons. The service was lovely, the food was awesome, the ambiance was everything I wanted. We ordered the seafood tower, because why would you go to a restaurant and not order the seafood if you're with a group, lol (unless you're allergic). I ordered the scallops, lemon potatoes, an earl grey cocktail and a Greek dessert called GALAKTOBOUREKO. I looovveedd the dessert, oh my gosh. It had a crunchy, sweet, creamy taste. My wife and I came here for the first time on a Friday evening after work without a reservation, and we were lucky as we got a table right away. We were greeted by very professional and friendly hostesses who took care of us with a big smile. The menu has plenty of food and drink options with a full bar to choose from. We went for the lentil soup, the octopus, Limani chips (Paper thin cut zucchini and eggplant served with lightly fried kefalograviera cheese and tzatziki), and the scallops. For dessert, we went for the Karidopita (Walnut sponge cake, cinnamon, cloves, honey syrup served with honey lavender ice cream). Everything was delicious, especially the dessert. Oh, my!!! Limani is located in a centrally located area in a high-end shopping plaza with plenty of free parking. They also offer valet parking. They have an amazing wine list and cocktail list. So many new to me things! My friend had an empress French 75 and I had the Un-fig-ettable . Fig vodka, lemon juice, mint and sparkling wine. Both drinks were nicely presented and light and mine was a nice sipoer. Great start! We ordered a couple of apps to have with drinks. The truffle parm waffle chips and the Greek meze which had 4 dips and served with fresh pita. Both were really good the waffle chips even though presented nicely were hard to get out while trying not to spill everything in the vessel! Nice crunchy and very truffle forward!! The dips were tzatziki, olive hummus type , fish dip and a red pepper Greek yogurt. We could have skipped the fish one. The others were all nice and fresh and light. I loved the pita. A beautiful restaurant with tons of open space and high ceilings. When you walk in you are immediately welcomed by an enormous circular bar which is joined by the seating area with its teal/ aqua and white decor. The restaurant is well lite and very open. We had reservations (since it was Mother's Day) and were seated immediately. Surprisingly, the restaurant was not packed like I thought it would be. It was definitely busy but not the typical Mother's Day rush I'd expect. After we were seated, it took some time (5+ minutes) before anyone came to great us or offer drinks. We ordered a glass of wine and mocktail. The server was very knowledgeable about both and had great feedback. The mocktail was a cucumber, lime and club soda style drink. Very refreshing and very summer, hot weather style drink. Our food order was quickly taken after the drinks were served. We started with the Mediterranean Ceviche (fava beans, Lavarki, micro greens, tomatoes) which was really good and a nice, flavorful start. My wife ordered the Royal Dorado and Beet Salad, my son ordered Lobster Pasta and I ordered Giganti Beans with Tomato Salad (classic Greek Salad). The food came out in good time and cooked as expected. The Lobster Pasta stole the show as it is presented with an entire lobster (already cleaned and the meat was in the pasta). The Royal Dorado was a whole fish mostly cleaned and deboned. The spine was still in tack as expected. My Giganti Beans were great and a nice, flavorful dish as was the Tomato Salad. I wouldn't consider it fully a Greek Salad as I do not remember having green peppers or Italian/ Balsamic style dressing on any salad I had in Greece. Overall, food was really good. The downfall is the price. My Tomato Salad cost $28 and I was charged $5 for a club soda. It was about a six ounce glass of club soda and they charged me $5 for every refill. I had three so I paid $15 for club soda, which I had to repeatedly ask for numerous times. I don't feel the quality of the food was equal to the prices they charge. I understand, the location and it being an nicer restaurant will and should reflect on the prices but there were inconsistencies, at best. I felt the Lobster Pasta was priced appropriately as was the drinks and some other items. I haven't decided if I would go back or not. I loved the decor and the restaurant itself but the prices for the quality received was not aligned. read more

The inside is gorgeous, all white and teal/light blue accents. Incredible decor, really well done. I sat at the bar and the bartender was awesome in helping me pick out a great Greek white wine. Their wine by the bottle list is extensive, I did by the glass and there are tons of options as well. Their house made bread was so damn good. Perfectly cooked, not too crispy, not too soft. The olive oil to dip it in was great as well. I got the calamari and wow! It is the best calamari I've ever had in my life. HUGE pieces with two dipping sauces that were both perfect. It is a large amount, I didn't even finish it all. I didn't get anything else from being so full, but fully plan to go back. read more

There was a person waiting on us constantly refilling water, replacing dirty plates with clean ones, and just making sure our needs are tended to. The waiter was very nice and got our orders quickly. The specialties or starters are in shareable portions, the options for main courses are plentiful and diverse (land, sea, garden, etc)., and the wine list is extensive. I would love to see more cocktails on the menu. The ambience is lovely - the wine wall, the bar, and the dining room chandelier are elements that make the decor pop. I also enjoyed the music - it reminded me of Bridgerton. Service is impeccable. There is free parking in the lot behind the restaurant and there is street parking too if you're lucky. Pricing? The bread and olive oil were great to start as well. We tried the blood orange margaritas which were amazing. THE BEST PART was dessert...you must try the CRACKED "SPASMENO" BAKLAVA! We were literally speechless. The only thing is I hope they get their service up to match the outstanding menu and ambiance. We had about 4-5 different waiters, not sure if it was because of a shift change or what. Also, some apps were brought out and served to us on our individual plates instead of letting us do it, with the staff mentioning they were trying to conserve on plates...not sure that we needed to know this and probably best to leave the plate and serving spoon on the table for the guests rather than dividing up the food right then and there for them. Lastly, after our dinner plates came out no one checked on us for some time. I needed some more lemon wedges with the fish we ordered but couldn't seem to find anyone to help.
