Limani is THE best! It is the classiest and most amazing location for ANY occasion. I had my engagement party there two weeks ago, and from start to finish our family was handled with phenomenal service. Karouko (sorry if it's mispelled) was amazing and Melissa helped with planning and ensuring my vision came to life! Danny was my Captain for the day and he made sure that my guests and I had EVERYTHING we needed. The food is amazing and there are so many options. I never wanted the day to end! Four of us went for the holidays. Food was excellent as was the service. If you can't find something on the menu that you like, you're not looking very hard. The only reason I gave only 3 stars was the price. This place is prohibitively expensive! I go to some of the most expensive restaurants around and the bill still shocked me. While I understand this is an upscale place, this place is waaay out there. I am glad that I went and I enjoyed my meal, but next time I want Mediterranean style seafood I will go somewhere else. read more

I love Limani's decor the restaurant has high ceilings and is very beautiful. We have come many times because the location is perfect for us. The food is simple and straight forward and the food has always been good every time we come. We usually get the pre-fix early dinner menu which runs until 6:30 I believe. It comes with 4 courses and is consistently tasty. The cocktails are also so good and unique. Must try if you are up for a tasty meal. A lot of things make this place great. The food here is so fresh and flavorful, and the chef personally gives you insight on each dish so you know exactly what to expect. We really enjoyed our early dinner here at Limani. We did not have the pre fix menu but it looked good and seemed reasonable for what was offered. I had lobster as an entrée it was great grilled seasoned as I have never had a lobster before. One person got the cowboy rib eye and another got the sirloin steak. It looked wonderful and both diners loved their steak. My mom got the shrimp with feta and she raved about the dish as did the people who ate lamb chops. Went back to Limani last night after a long hiatus (ah -- the joys of being a new business owner!) and couldn't help but relish in an evening of sheer culinary delight! We ordered the Sunday prix-fixe menu which included a soup/salad, appetizer, main dish, dessert per person. My favorites included the calamari and scallops appetizers and the whole (deboned) sea bass - all cooked to perfection. Each course was punctuated by the distinct flavors of Mediterranean cuisine (olive oil, sea salt, lemon, capers!) and the portion sizes were quite generous for a prix fixe. We left feeling thoroughly satiated sans the dreaded "food-coma" aftermath of indulgent meals, smiling blissfully from ear to ear :)))) Yes, the place is beautiful and the service is attentive...but I chose to finally write a review because it was lovely to see that after [at least a year of] having last dined at Limani, the elements that had initially won my "seafoodie" heart were still present. I have been to Limani a few times for dinner and enjoy it every time. Monday I was there for lunch with my mom. We enjoyed it SO much! It was such a relaxing experience, mostly ladies in for lunch. We took the prefix lunch menu, appetizer-main-dessert. We has the Greek Spreads and tomato salad to start, Mom had whole fish and I had grilled chicken. We each had the walnut cake with ice cream. They used old food while pretending it was new. What is this, Sizzler? I went with my family for dinner and ordered two steaks, one fish, and some appetizers. My son thought the lobster bisque was too salty, so they exchanged the soup. The fish was fine, but the first steak was well undercooked and the second steak was burnt to a crisp; both were supposed to be medium. Now, this isn't a big deal, as I've had undercooked steaks given to me at restaurants in the past. I asked for the undercooked steak to be cooked a little further, and for a new steak to replace the overcooked one. Twenty minutes later, the waiter comes back with two steaks, claiming that the overcooked one was replaced with a new one. This couldn't be further from the truth; the steak was the exact one which we returned, which the waiter tried to disguise by giving each of my kids a piece. It was obvious it was the earlier one, however, because it was cold and had a KNIFE MARK from when I started cutting. I was bewildered to discover this. What infuriated me is when I asked to speak to the manager. Instead of apologizing for his staffs inexcusable acts of lying to me and giving me old food, he claimed I was the problem. Why? Because my son returned the Lobster Bisque. The audacity it takes for a manager to not only apologize for the gross misconduct practiced by the chef, but to then blame the customer with absolutely no rationale, is astounding. I've never had a worse experience with a manager in my life. You'd think that if I'm willing to pay $45 for a steak at a high-end restaurant, they'd be willing to treat me without the third degree. After 45 minutes of arguing with the manager, I still never got an apology. I've never been treated so poorly at a restaurant.. At least at Sizzler, they stand behind their product. read more

Because my fiancee didn't have rhinestones on her fingers and I wasn't wearing a button down shirt with cuff-links (I was wearing a button down though!), we were ignored by the servers. On numerous occasions our server would look us straight in the eye and walk away. We weren't told the daily specials, while every other table around us got to hear them. We were never checked in on during the meai, even though the manager stopped at the tables on either side of us. Really felt like second class citizens. The food was nothing special. I'm in between 3 and 4 stars. Everything was good, and some things were excellent, but I still can't get over how it felt like it was the nursing homes night out. Seriously every time a group of people passed my table to sit, at least one person had a walker or cane. Now sure I went early on a Friday night (6 pm) but we left at 8ish and it was still a geriatric unit. So in terms of recommending it, sure I would... to people over 70, but not to a young hip couple. The food is simply done, but it really lets the flavor of the fish through. If I was to rate it solely based on food it would be a 4/5. But would I go there again? Had to ask three different waiters for a diet coke, and had to ask four times for a hot coffee. I came here on a Monday night for dinner. The place has a pretty nice and fancy decor throughout the restaurant. For the appetizer I got to try the fried calamari, the mushroom, the octopus, and greek salad. The salad was pretty fresh and felt very clean. The calamari was your typical fried calamari but nonetheless pretty tasty. For the entree I got to try the Bronzini grilled fish. It was very fresh and delicate and very moist. I also had a taste of the lollipop lamb chops -- they were delicious but a bit on the gamey side. My friend asked for medium but it came out pretty well done. Overall, the food was really delicious and I would recommend this place to try for your Greek / Mediterranean cravings. read more

Beautiful space, lots of light, airy. This is the place to see and be seen, think Ferraris in the parking lot, Herve Leger dresses and lots of nips and tucks. Atmosphere aside the service is top notch, very attentive, water always filled. Complimentary pita bread with hummus and baba ganoush on the table is a nice touch. The best deal hands down is the prefix lunch and dinner. Here you can try four course for $39, you can't beat that. They also offer select wines for $7 a glass as part of the menu. The food was very fresh and well presented. The best items were the lemon chicken soup and lamb chops. The charcoal grilled lobster was good too. As much as I really want to love the place and give it five stars, I can't. I can't even give it four stars, the food was good, but not spectacular, nothing jumped off the plate or stood out. While the restaurant is nice inside my biggest issue is that on Saturday nights you regularly (and we tried 3-4 times over past 2 years, mostly due to friends wanting to try the restaurant) have to wait 45 min to well over an hour past your reservation time. They do not know how to pace their reservations or they don't want to. Last night was the same, our party of 4, like other parties had to wait 55 minutes for our table. I heard another patron tell the manager "you should be ashamed of yourself" and it mirrored our collective feeling. The manager came out to us to say he's sorry we have to wait "a bit" and we told him that "a bit" is a few minutes not close to an hour. Again, this is a repeated experience and we're not going to fall for it again. Noise level is high and so are prices but the food is tasty. read more

Came here for dinner last Thursday night with a friend. For an "upscale" restaurant, I was not impressed by the décor or atmosphere. Meant for the crowd they attract, who are mostly in their mid to late 40s, it's a bit too conservative and boring for me. Service was on point all night, and I really liked the fact that they had a coat check. But the Greek-inspired menu was only mediocre. The grilled octopus and crabcakes were good, but not the best I've had. And although the Sea Bass for Two was the perfect texture, it was bland and could use more seasoning. Oh, and the Greek Fries we ordered on the side were basically just potato chips with cheese powdered over it? Not appealing to me. Overall, I don't think this place is anything special. For a similar price point in the same town, do yourself a favor and go to Kyma instead. read more

Came here on Saturday with my family, two of which were my older grandparents. It is a very nice big restaurant with a mixed crowd of young 30s to 70s for the most part. We were seated by the bar to make it easier for my grandparents to get around, although I think this is the worst spot and also not beneficial. It's very loud the bar crowd is kind of in your face and it's far from the bathroom. Regardless it was slow to get the waiters attention to order drinks and food but eventually it happened. The mezze appetizer and salads were what we started with. I loved everything!!!! Then there was a absurdly long wait in between courses. However, everyone enjoyed there meals. My mother got the Bronzino, my grandpa pork chops and my dad some other sort of meat dish. Everyone enjoyed there meals and because the restaurant felt bad they gave us 3 free desserts which included yogurt, baklava, and carrot cake. It was all delicious and very gracious. The only negative I would say is that the restaurant was incredibly loud, I felt like my throat was sore after that meal. I wouldn't frequent this place but I did enjoy my meal. read more

Very good brunch, but it would be nice if someone had explained what was included and where everything is. When you first walk in you will see the prepared hot food directly in front of you. Parallel to this table is another with fruits, cheeses, cold meat and salad. Directly off the bar is the carving station and straight ahead of all of this is the shrimp and lobster bar!!!! The lobster was not 100% consistent some were over cooked and it was all presented very very chilled. Now to the right, directly off the kitchen is a made to order omelette bar, pasta station, pancakes, waffles, French toast. This is all right next to the assorted fresh berry bar with strained Greek yogurt and fresh whipped cream. They also have a variety a of breads and desserts. Included in this is also your first drink, mimosa, Bellini or bloody marry. It is truly a bounty of food! But it will cost you...a whopping...$55.99/per person. Personally I think it is very expensive. Yes they do offer a lot but unless you plan to eat you 3 daily meals here in one sitting and put away a few whole lobsters you aren't going to eat $56 worth of food. Very nice place though, excellent service. Great place to celebrate a holiday or event but I'd imagine you would never get in without a reservation on Mother's Day or Father's Day and I'd imagine they probably charge extra.
