This is the kind of meal your mom would cook for, like, a graduation dinner, or if she was trying to impress someone. I've never had a bad meal here, but the crab cakes are the best in Maryland. I know everyone thinks they know where the best crab cakes are, but they are wrong, because the Edgewater Restaurant has them - a softball of jumbo lump crab meat, perfectly broiled with very few added ingredients so the crab shines through. All of the meals come with 2 sides of your choice, including potatoes served at least 3 different ways and a salad bar that isn't even trying to be healthy. Truly, there is no better place in Edgewater for dinner.
