This was bad (no bueno). My sister was craving burritos and I was craving shrimp tacos so I decided to try this place out for the first time... & it will be the last. I got an appetizer and a beer to occupy myself as I waited on my food and honestly the only thing I enjoyed was the beer. The chips were stale, and the queso was cold. It only went downhill from there (like an upside down world). They got everything wrong and my whole meal seemed backwards, from the rice in the burrito being undercooked and hard (almost inedible) to the hard shell tacos from my shrimp tacos not being hard at all, instead they were super soft and soggy. Today I broke the screen on my phone and I had to drop it at Verizon to get it repaired. So I decided to have lunch at lime because it was going to take a few hours. I had always stopped here sometimes when I'm off during the week and have lunch food was great. I ordered the taco salad and a Frozen margarita. First thing frozen margarita fabulous. I didn't know that they had changed from the taco shell when you ordered a salad to just a regular Bowl so no chips. I believe it was the manager was very kind and gave me some chips and I you know appreciated that. But I have to say that that salad was the worst salad that I have had. The person taking orders was rude and unhelpful--any time we asked a question about the menu, her response was simply "I don't know." As a first-time guest, that set a negative tone for the whole experience, we didn't even order because of this. This was actually my second time trying Lime Fresh. I'd say it's just alright. I was having a serious craving for nachos and wanted something close by. They helped to curb but didn't fully satisfy my craving. Lime Fresh offers quick and easy ordering where you select a seat and your food comes out shortly after. I love being able to grab something in a flash. So yes, I ordered the nachos with which I asked to add queso and chicken. They came topped with refried beans, quac, sour cream, pico de gallo and lettuce. The queso was a nice addition, but the refried beans kind of over powered everything and the pico could've been drained a bit better because my chips got pretty soggy before I was a few bites in. I also think they unfortunately forgot the jalapeños, and because no one came by to ask how my meal was I never was able to inquire. Anyway, I made up for it by heading to the sauce bar. Their sauce bar offers a variety of salsas and they also have bottled hot sauces. I felt that a lot of the salsas were kind of bland, but I will say the pico de gallo was pretty good. It tasted great on top of my nachos (and I obviously added some extra from the sauce bar). Overall I just wasn't "wowed". Again, I got my fix, but I left wanting more. More flavor, more spice. I also thought that for the level of food and service, almost $18 for nachos and a drink is kinda wild.
