Lovely pasta. The top one in my photo was a bit spicy and the bottom or darker sauce one was like an adult chef boyardee flavor and the best. So cheesy and meaty. Smaller restaurant, seemed like few servers working though it could have been the day/time we went. Everything seemed fresh and was delicious.

I'm quite obsessed with Limoncello. I have loved everything I have tried here. I feel welcomed by the staff and always have a wonderful experience.

Went here during happy hour. Tried their MELANZANE PARMIGIANA. Very cheesy, but tasted mediocre at best. We also got their RAVIOLI DI ZUCCA. While the sauce was good, the portion size was not great - literally only 5 pieces. Would avoid getting this.

Hubby & I were in Seattle for a convention & we stayed at a hotel by the center. After, we moved to an AirBnB in the Belltown neighborhood. In researching what to do in Seattle, Belltown afforded us the opportunity to be in the middle of everything & close to a bunch of the attractions we wanted to check out. The best thing was discovering Limoncello Belltown next door to our AirBnB! After a long day of sightseeing, we stopped in for happy hour. We both ordered the Aperol Spritz & sat outside on their patio. The sun was shining, the cocktail was perfectly made, the owner came by to say hi, it was great people watching. We ogled the beautiful plates being delivered to our patio mates for dinner. For our last night in Seattle, we returned to Limoncello for happy hour dinner. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate so we couldn't sit outside on the patio but we got to enjoy the action inside the restaurant. We started with Aperol Spritz then opted to share a bottle of their house red: Banfi Chianti 2023. A perfect red wine for our dinner selections. We would have ordered WAAAYYYYY too much food because there were so many things that we wanted to try but we had a 4am wakeup call the next day to fly back home so it was a no can do leftovers kinda meal. Hubby wanted bread & I wanted a salad - so we comprised & got both. The bread service featured a warm Macrina Bakery baguette & a small round loaf. It was served with olive oil & balsamic glaze, we added grated parmesan cheese, black pepper & red pepper flakes. We ate it all. There were several lovely salad options & we ordered the Insalata di Spinaci: spinach, gorgonzola, sun dried tomatoes, roasted garlic, pecorino cheese, balsamic vinaigrette. I was surprised at the large serving size of the salad for $10. It was fresh with a good amount of toppings. We had to pick one: either pasta or pizza. The pasta option won out with us selecting the Ravioli di Carne: homemade ravioli filled with beef & ricotta cheese, tomato cream sauce, sage, calabrian peppers, pecorino cheese. The plate featured three large raviolis in a delicious slightly spicy sauce. If we could have had leftovers, I would have selected the Fettuccine al Ragù: homemade fettuccine, beef ragù, pecorino cheese - I am a sucker for a good ragù! I guess that means that we have to go back to Limoncello when we are in Seattle the next time! We were stuffed so we passed on dessert but enjoyed a glass of homemade Limoncello. The restaurant features three types of Limoncello - original, orange & cinnamon. It was the perfect end to a delightful meal! If you are in Seattle & want to check out a very special restaurant with an excellent happy hour menu for both drinks & food, check out Limoncello in the Belltown neighborhood. Highly recommend.

We went here with friends who chose it. Everyone there was very nice. We all liked our cocktails, except my husband, who ordered a shot of limoncello with a side of San Pelligrino. We had to ask the server for the sparkling water twice after she brought the drinks, before she brought it. We loved our first course, Burrata on a bed of pureed vegs including eggplant, and peppers. It was delicious! Our friends liked their Bruschetta Limoncello. They also liked their Gnocchi con Burrata and Ravioli di Zucca. We, however were very disappointed in our Cannelloni and Tagliarini with shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, but the so-called squid ink pasta was very pale and tasteless. Sauce blah. The Cannelloni was overcooked, kind of tough on the edges, and the sauce was overpowering. We all liked our wine, and 2 of us had limoncello shots which were great. Made me wish we'd gotten the flight of 3 limoncellos to compare them. The Cannoli was such a disappointment to my Italian husband, who loves it. The filling was way too sweet and grainy. We had told the server before we ordered to split the bill between the 2 couples. But when she brought it, it was all together with one total. She then read through every item ordered, to make sure she had it right. We kept saying, "But how much do we owe?", as we planned to pay in cash. Our friend was so flustered she didn't notice that they deduct 20% for tip, so she tipped 20%, in addition. Not a good end to the evening.

Honestly one of the top best Italian food spots I have tried this far. The ambiance inside was so cute and romantic. Perfect for a date night! Their chicken gnocchi dish was heavenly! Our server said that we would really enjoy it. We also had their limoncello drink which was so good and strong (which I like lol) Another great Italian place to check out in Seattle especially if you couldn't get reservations to the Pink Door on time.

This is a really cute place in bell town. Parking is street parking but nearby is a paid parking lot. The service was great. Almost borderline too helpful where we would barely get a convo in and we'd be asked how we are doing. Sometimes, it's too much. My girl friend and I shared a burrato app. It was delicious. The bread was great. She got the black cod for entree and I got the fettuccine ragu. The cod was good but I was sorely disappointed in the pasta. It was not al dente. I asked for it to be also. Going to give this place one more shot because it's so cute, but pasta at an Italian place should be cooked as if you are in Italy! I think Due Cucina has better pasta. Cocktail and wine selections were great. The Limoncello and Bellini wa delicious. We also got a bottle of sparkling wine.

The food was okay, the drinks were good, but I was disappointed in what I paid. I always check menus online with the understanding that they aren't always up to date. So I was "hoping" for happy hour pasta at $15 per plate. Upon arrival, I found out that HH pasta was $18 and I was too late for their shortened Friday HH (4-5p) anyway. My husband and I chose a couple of vegetarian options. I asked if I could substitute regular pasta for the gluten-free penne pesto ($23). The wait staff didn't say no but suggested the pappardelle because "it would be the same thing". I should have asked if I would still be charged full price even though I was ordering it without the chicken, but I already asked about the HH so I felt bad for sounding cheap. Then of course, I was charged the full price of $27. The pappardelle tasted good but the eggplant parmesan was less so. The roasted eggplants were great but the pasta was falling apart in the sauce. We also ordered a peroni and a bellini. Beer is beer but the bellini was super good. The peach puree was so delicious. I had done more than expected damage to my wallet ($74+tax+tips instead of $45+tax+tips). In this economy, I'm just trying to be mindful even though it was my birthday. My husband noted the special occasion on our reservation but I expected nothing and received nothing. Probably wouldn't come back.

Okay pasta - Quick service - Nice ambiance After getting turned away once (this place is popular, definitely make a reservation), I booked a Thursday table and came ready to vibe. Reservation wasn't needed place was nearly empty. Started with a glass of the rosé Prosecco, it was light, crisp, no complaints and dove into the pappardelle pesto e pollo. Honestly? It was fine. Not a flop, not fireworks either. Portion size was generous, and the pesto sauce had a nice flavor to it, but the chicken wasn't quite hitting. Some bites were a bit too fatty, and I was craving that dark, crispy sear to really bring it home. Maybe I just picked the wrong dish...menu hype might lie elsewhere. Ambiance? Really nice actually, especially if you can snag a table by the front on a sunny day. Overall, a decent experience, but probably not a next time

They had a lot of food options in happy hour and highly recommend giving it a try during happy hour. I don't think the food was good. It was average and not that flavourful. We tried the bruschetta which tasted fresh and probably was the only good thing we had. Though I felt it had a lot of tomatoes. I tried the ravioli which did not taste good was not that flavorful. The tiramisu was also not that good. The place is in Belltown and in a busy street and reservation is recommended. It is a cute place with outside seating. The service was not good, it was slow and was not friendly. They also take a service charge of 20% for 3 and more guests

Tucked away in Belltown, Limoncello feels like a warm hug the moment you step inside--charming, inviting, and effortlessly intimate. It's the kind of place where time slows down and every dish feels like a love letter from an Italian kitchen. We started with the Canaletto mocktail and Saronno--both were beautifully balanced and refreshingly nuanced, with a subtle elegance that set the tone for the rest of the evening. The burrata limoncello was a standout: lusciously creamy and paired with flavors that were bright, citrusy, and unexpectedly playful. The paglia e fieno with aragosta was rich and sumptuously layered, with the lobster adding a delicate sweetness that made each bite sing. Their insalata di ruccola was crisp and peppery, a lovely contrast to the heartier dishes. The pizza prosciutto came out perfectly blistered and aromatic, topped with melty mozzarella and salty ribbons of prosciutto that hit all the right notes. We also ordered the gnocchi al ragu, which was pillowy and decadent, with a ragu that tasted like it had simmered for hours--deep, savory, and soulful. Even the bread deserves a shoutout--toasty, golden, and delightfully chewy, the kind that disappears before you realize it. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely mouthwatering. The service was warm and attentive, without being overbearing. We left full, happy, and already talking about our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian fare in a setting that feels like home--but just a little more magical. Food - Gnocchi was too doughy and some parts tasted uncooked. As someone with ARFID it also triggered a gag reflex after eating half of the dish. May be hard to stomach for some. The tiramisu was very dense and would likely meant to be shared. Overall everything comes out in a shareable portion here. Service - Waitress was very friendly and talked to us as well as answered all of our questions. Ambiance - Has both inside and outside seating. The outdoor seating has flies that may interrupt your meal

The best happy hour deals in Seattle! Limoncello cocktails are potent but so fresh, and the food can be best described as collectively melty in your mouth. Loved the fettuccine Al ragu and the gnocchi with burrata even more, and the tiramisu was very uniquely rich. Amazing service as well!

The crust was on the thicker side and packed with rich garlic flavor. The center of the flat bread was more flavorful than the edges. Crispy Karaage Chicken Wings - The karaage seasoning comes as a powder rub. It wasn't my favorite because it didn't taste much like traditional karaage. It's also a bit messy to eat, so be careful not to get the powder on your clothes. Interestingly, the flavor reminded me of Maruchan shrimp flavored instant noodles. On the plus side, the portion size was generous and offered good value for an appetizer. Gambas al Ajillo - This dish features spicy garlic shrimp and chicken chorizo. The shrimp was fresh and well cooked, though it wasn't particularly spicy. The chorizo brought more heat and had excellent flavor. I highly recommend ordering this alongside the flat bread. We used the gambas garlic oil/ sauce from this dish as a dipping sauce for the bread, which added a delicious extra kick. Espresso Martini - They make their espresso martini using drip coffee, and surprisingly, it works really well. This was my first time having one made this way, and I enjoyed it. Service & Overall Experience - The service was excellent. Our server checked in on us regularly without being intrusive and gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal. Overall, both the food and drinks were solid, making for a very enjoyable dining experience.

But the only time we saw him was when we tracked him down to order or request our check. The blasted broccoli used to be my favorite. They've changed it and it's not as good. Other of our favorites were missing from the menu entirely. (Oh where did you go, spicy shrimp with shells?) We did like the karaage chicken wings. Liked them a lot. I'd say to be sure and order them. The ravioli and mushrooms would have been nice, but was so overly drenched in brown butter it was not pleasant. Who knew there could be too much brown butter? This dish would benefit by a bit of acid - maybe a balsamic drizzle? The best part of the tandoori style chicken by far were the interesting garnishes along with the tzatziki. The chicken was just a vehicle for the rest.

Nestled in the historic Belltown neighborhood, it perfectly blends classic Italian flavors with cozy rustic charm. The service throughout the night was attentive, welcoming, and never overbearing. I would definitely put this as your next date night spot. Normally I save an espresso martini for the end of the meal, but their Vanilla Bourbon Espresso Martini completely changed my plans. I'd never had bourbon in an espresso martini before, and honestly, I may never go back to vodka again. It wasn't overly sweet and had just the right amount of bourbon flavor to complement the vanilla notes without overpowering the drink. The complimentary bread was a great touch, but the real standout was the garlic, olive oil, and basil dipping sauce. It was unapologetically garlic-forward, which is exactly how bread service should be in my opinion. Somewhere an Italian grandmother nodded in approval. For mains, we ordered the classic pepperoni pizza and the Gnocchi Pepirosso. The pizza was excellent and absolutely better than any standard takeout chain pizza. Perfectly sauced, beautifully baked, and finished with just enough spice to elevate it. That said, the gnocchi completely stole the show for me. As someone who considers himself a bit of a gnocchi connoisseur, these were perfect little pillows of happiness swimming in an incredible sauce with Italian sausage. Honestly, I got hungry all over again just writing this review. La Vita E Bella feels like the kind of neighborhood restaurant you end up becoming a regular at without even meaning to.

We arrived, my friend chose this restaurant, apparently she comes here often. We came here on the Sunday before the FIFA stuff started with a lot of folks in town! We get seated, they bring bread and the dipping sauce. And we want more but they ran out of bread. Were there around 7:30p, so not particularly late...but how do you run out of bread? Anyhow, we ordered the spinach salad that we shared and my friend ordered Spaghetti al Porro and I ordered the mushroom ravioli...the salad was great. So the spaghetti arrives it looks/tastes amazing....the waitress brings me mushroom crepes...I didn't order that. So she takes the order to the table next to us. While waiting, we overhear that the same waitress brought to the wrong meal to the table on the other side of us. She brings my ravioli finally and it was so watery...I couldn't eat it. So I asked for the same dish my friend had. By this time I am pretty much done... I don't know if the waitress was having an off day or if that is her normal state....which I have a tendency to believe...some people are not meant to be waitresses. By now I am just ready to go....put my food in a box and let me out of here. I don't know if I will go back there...but I hope if I do....that I have it in me to be open to a better experience. The food at the end....was great....it was the process of getting there, that took me for a loop!

We waited for 3 hours in total to get the full extent of our meal. Half of us opted for the Seattle Restaurant Week menu since we were new to the area and wanted to get a sense of what the restaurant had to offer. The restaurant week menu was $50 for a choice of an antipasti, pasta, secondi, and dessert. For the antipasti, you get your choice of a house salad or bruschetta. The choices for the pasta are between the gnochi or the cannelloni. For the secondi, you can either go for the braised spring lamb or the eggplant parmigiana. The dessert options are between the tiramisu and lemon sorbet. The winner for me was the gnochi but someone else from my table could not stop raving about the cannelloni so multiple dishes stood out throughout the night. The braised spring lamb was tender and fell right off the bone. I would skip the halibut - it was too salty! We also ordered a bottle of wine to share and the recommendation by the server was a crowd pleaser. If you're not sure what to get for wine, ask the server! Maybe it was because each course took a while to come out, but none of us were satisfied with the quantity they served because we had to wait so long. The restaurant did experience a rush of people during dinner time but to wait three hours for the full dinner at this price point doesn't feel too great, especially when we had a reservation.
