    Fried oysters and Manila clams

Lovely mix of Pacific Northwest and Mediterranean cuisine. This restaurant is inside the Kimpton Monaco which recently went through a renovation and is an absolute beauty of a property. I highly recommend the Manila clams and loukoumades!

We had a lovely dinner here at Marin. Came in before a show. Started with excellent drinks and starters as well as a tasty burger!! Staff is extremely friendly. Highly recommend their tzatziki served with warm pitas. Was very quiet. Sad to see this part of Seattle so dead:(

Really underrated lunch spot in Downtown Seattle. I LOVED their $24 lunch option, where you get a choice of an appetizer, main, and dessert. I got the trout dip, steak frites, and chocolate torte cake. The service is fast and friendly, and the interior is beautifully decorated and modern. I'll definitely be coming back.

Came here once for happy hour drinks & a light bite, and once for breakfast. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious. I got a matcha latte, French toast, and some Greek yogurt. Everything was perfectly made and full of flavor. It's rare I have an enjoyable experience at a hotel restaurant, but this place was great. The happy hour was also pretty good. The drink selection was pretty limited, but the cocktails we got were good. We also got fries, mezze platter, and fried oysters. All were tasty, but nothing amazing. The fried oysters were very strange. Overall a solid spot, super spacious and pretty, and good service!

I had a great experience at Marin in Seattle! The restaurant itself is located in the hotel and it is beautiful inside. Service was great, very welcoming and attentive! I opted for the Caspian Trio prix fixe menu and it is such a great deal for the high quality and taste you're getting. I got the appetizer of the Smoked Trout dip and it was delicious.. it wasn't too salty and had plenty fish and roe! My entree was the Steak Frites and it hit the spot. The steak was perfectly cooked and the fries were crispy and hot. I went for lunch when they just opened and would love to check them out for dinner!

Quiet lunch on a Saturday early January, not too much happening in downtown Seattle that day. Marin was serving brunch so I ordered Eggs Benedict, hubby had southwestern omelette. Both were good, I like the crispy potatoes. The weekday lunch menu and dinner menu looked great, the server said their burger is delicious so we'll try that next time. Heads-up on the parking: just pull-up in front of the Kimpton Monaco Hotel & the valet will park for you. Marin validated 2-hour complimentary parking.

We stayed at the attached hotel and came by for dinner and LOVED it. Don't miss the caramelized onions on the burger and the great cocktail menu.

This spot feels like it's right on the cusp of becoming something really great, but still has a few kinks to iron out. The drinks were creative and well done, and the menu offers a nice variety of proteins along with vegetarian options. The space itself is bright and inviting, and the service was attentive, even though it wasn't too busy. For the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The fish and chips unfortunately had a burnt taste to the breading that wasn't appealing. For the steak frites, the steak was tasty but had some gristle that distracted from the overall experience. The highlight was probably the pita bread appetizer with a trio of sauces. It came with a red pepper sauce that was absolutely delicious, a tzatziki sauce that was equally as good and a garlicky hummus that I'd buy from them if they sold it. All this to say, the potential is definitely there to be a better restaurant. It needs a little refining to match the inviting atmosphere and creative bar program.

The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They are kid and dog-friendly, too. We ordered an NA IPA (which they have on tap!) and their hop water (comes in a can). Both beverages were absolutely delicious. I love that this place is NA-friendly. They offer some light snacks and free pretzels, which is awesome for a brewery without a kitchen. There is a food truck on site, but it was closed when we visited. No worries, though, you can bring outside food, which is perfect since there are plenty of great restaurants in the area. I asked the bartender if they brew at this location, and he said they've moved all brewing to a different location in Seattle, but it's still super fresh and tasty beer all around. This is a spot worth visiting in Seattle or getting together with a large group for a few drinks. Plenty of choices for everyone!

Smattering variety of beer (1-2 offerings per "kind" of beer, non-alc included), so I'd say this place is more for vibes and location, rather beer-focused. That being said, the vibes were good! Random barrels and umbrellas, as well as maybe 10 or so picnic tables across the two outdoor patios (dog-friendly). Saw they also have private event space off to the side. Plenty of indoor seating as well.

The…read moreambiance here is intimate and the music isn't too loud which is great while sipping some beers. There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.
