I wasn't even hungry but the smell of bread convinced me otherwise. I just got a slice of their margherita pizza, and it is filling! The crust was crisp with a nice char. The bread was tall, nicely aerated, and pillowy soft. The tomato flavor was soft against the basil and olive oil, but still delicious. The inside space has a few tables, but my slice came out fast so I imagine turnaround time to be quick too. And it was nice listening to some Italian pop/rock music while waiting. I'm definitely coming back to get a sandwich!

We got a large pepperoni pizza and asked for it extra toasted, and it came out really good. The extra crisp on the crust definitely made it better. We also got the chicken wings and honestly, they were SO good. They weren't small or dry at all, just how wings should be. Definitely would order those again. We also got the jalapeño poppers, which were really good too. Everything was a fair price for what we got. Overall, really happy we found this spot. I actually tried the cheesesteak sandwich at a fast-food pizza place next to our downtown hotel but I really enjoyed it. My only memory is that it was about the bread. Fast forward to now and there has been buzz about this sandwich spot in Embarcadero 2, an unlikely spot, known for their roast pork sandwiches. I made my way here on a Wednesday afternoon. It is just past the elevators from the Clay St. side on the left. As usual, I wanted to try a few things to get a better idea of what they make. Not knowing the setup, I intended to get everything to go, but noticed there was counter seating inside and several tables and benches outside, so I decided to dine in. I was glad that I ate it fresh instead of bringing it back. I ate the other half a few days later.
