What a blast we all had on Sunday! Our party bus carried about 40 of us to celebrate our good friend's birthday! The bus was clean, warm, and the ride was smooth. We had the our own music blasting with the use of an aux cord hooked up to a sweet speaker that covered the whole bus. Our driver, Priest, was awesome. He provided a safe ride, jokes, fun, and kindness. He waited for us for a few hours while we went into the party place, but the real party was on the bus. We brought our own drinks and snacks. He was willing to work with our budget and schedule to find the most appropriate bus. The bus was clean, comfortable and must importantly - staying cool for the entire ride. Having a wedding during the summer time in Chicago is not an easy affair, without the AC in the bus, we wouldn't make it through the photo sections and the day. I can't say enough about Limotainment and the company's owner, Mike. I got married in Sept. 2012, and we used Limotainment to pick up the wedding party at a downtown hotel, take us to three photo locations in the city, and then drop us off at the ceremony location in Lincoln Park. Everything went as smoothly as possible, beginning several months before the wedding when I first contacted the company. Mike answered all of my questions and responded quickly any time I had to call or email him. He checked in a few days before the wedding to confirm all the details. On the day of the wedding, the limo arrived at the hotel about 10-15 minutes early, but they didn't rush us at all when it took the last members of the wedding party a few extra minutes to get ready to go. They got us to the photo spots with no problem at all, despite heavy traffic in the city. We arrived at the ceremony venue a few minutes early, so we weren't rushed. Mike rode along on the limobus with us (another employee was driving), and he was a big help -- he kept an eye on the photographer's car during the photo shoots, helped people on and off the limobus, and generally made sure everything was going OK. He had the limobus stocked with beer and champagne for us, and they let us bring our own beer on, too. The limobus was clean and modern, and the sound system was great. About 15 minutes after we were all dropped off at the wedding venue, one of the bridesmaids realized she had left her cell phone on the limobus. I called Mike, and they immediately turned around and hand-delivered the phone to us at the wedding venue with no complaints. Everything about the company was extremely professional. Mike will be my first call if/when I need a limobus for any reason in the future. read more

I recently used Limotainment for transportation for my bridal party for my January 2016 wedding. I worked with Mike to book this trip and he was great to work with the entire time, very professional and responsive. We booked the E540 Limo Bus. We had 10 people in there plus some bags/flowers for the day of the wedding. I don't think you could have fit anymore than 10 people in here but for us, it worked out really well. The limo bus comes with some water, beer, champagne and cups which was perfect for driving around and taking photos. The driver told us we could make as many stops as we wanted and he was very helpful. You have the option to hook your own music up. I thought the prices were very fair as well. We got married in July. Not the beginning of July, the middle of July. In Chicago. We knew it was going to be hot and we knew that the weather could be temperamental. However, it was the only time of the year that my family could make it to the wedding. After chatting with Mike at Limotainment, we explained that our main concern was air conditioning working. He had me over and showed me all the options that were available and had the AC blasting. We decided to sign with them. Come the day of the wedding, the AC in our bus broke. Well it didn't completely break, but the driver didn't know how to keep it on so it would cut in and out the majority of the ride. It was blisteringly hot & humid. With everyone in suits or dresses, it was super uncomfortable and bordered on unbearable. The other bad thing is that when it rained, the bus started to leak from the roof and onto our guests. I know we went with an "older" model (2010) since we didn't want the stripper pole, but seriously. We're 30 years old. I don't need a stripper pole on my wedding bus. When asked about a backup plan like if the bus broke or the driver was sick, the response from Mike was "it's never happened before and I'll drive you myself if I have to." Not the most reliable plan. I will say that Earnest, our driver was really nice about it. He tried to fix everything and understood that it was important to us. He eventually got the air working, but we were 5 minutes from our destination. He did get us everywhere safely and took decent routes. He was also sweet to chat with. Mike was also super responsive. He was always quick to answer questions and it was great that he let us see the buses ahead of time. Bottom line, though, if we were asked to recommend Limotainment the answer would be no. Our biggest concern was the air conditioning and they failed. There are other companies with similar prices and more reliability. read more

We used Limotainment to shuttle our bridal party around on our wedding day this past Saturday. Everything went great. Used the large white limo bus from the pictures and it comfortably fit 21 people (including our photographers). Went from downtown to Lincoln Park, then stopped at a few locations for pictures on the way back downtown. We had a great time on the bus and Mike was helpful with any questions we had prior to the day of the wedding. Posting the thank you note I sent to them to save some time typing up a long review. Just wanted to say thank you to you, Limotainment, and our driver Ricardo for a great day on Saturday. The bus was awesome. Super spacious and comfortable for our whole wedding party throughout the day. Ricardo was amazing - he showed up early, got us to all of our locations right on schedule, stayed close so we could hop on and off as needed, and would check in to make sure we were alright as the day went on. We got to hit all of our photo locations and he was so good that we ended up arriving early to our final spot and had a chance to relax (and warm up) for a few minutes on the bus. My husband and I did not have a good experience using Limotainment for our wedding transportation. When I first submitted an inquiry through their website I got a call from Mike pretty soon after. He was very professional and helpful on the phone and sent me over their 8ish page contract to review. As soon as I signed the contract and sent it back to him he went MIA. I emailed him several times over the course of 2 weeks to get a counter-signed copy of the contract and after no response I actually had to call him to get him to send it to me. Closer to our wedding date I then again reached out via email multiple times to confirm the details and got no response. I again had to call him to ask questions and walk him through the details. The driver, Dave, on our wedding day was unprofessional. He called me the day of our wedding (about 1.5 hours prior to getting on the bus) while I was getting my hair and make up done to go over the details which Mike had said he would share with the driver. I also had asked for the driver to call our best man/maid of honor but instead he called me. While on the phone with the driver he asked me to tip him when I got on the bus. As soon as I got on the bus Dave came straight up to me and asked me to tip him. As the bride on my wedding day this was not something I wanted to deal with. While driving to take our pictures Dave would not listen to the instructions of our photographer and groomsman telling them that he knew where he was going. When we came back from taking our photos the hood of the bus was up and Dave informed us that we had run out of anti-freeze so he was going to stop to get some on the way to our venue.... Since being out of anti-freeze is not life or death we told him to take us straight to the venue. The bus started to get very hot while we were driving that Dave opened the bus door at a stop light to let in some air. When the light turned green he proceeded to drive with the door open while our two photographers were sitting right across from the open door way holding onto their belongings. Overall I was extremely disappointed in the professionalism of this company and the professionalism of our driver. Given the positive reviews I saw for this company I expected a lot more. read more
