Wow! My boyfriend and I came here around 10pm on a cold Saturday night and were amazed by how amazing everything was! The space is extremely clean and nice with lots of open space. The food was incredible! Great authentic Korean street food with so much flavor and freshness, we couldn't stop talking about how pleasantly surprised we were! Our waitress was so sweet and even wrote a handwritten note at the end of the meal with some free chocopie for dessert :). Will 100% be back and recommend it to everyone.

On a recent trip to Queens to pick up some artwork and visit the Louis Armstrong Museum (yes it really is in Corona Queens and amazing) we stopped at Lims. It wasn't very busy so service was fine. You actually order from an iPad on table, the waitress confirms and next thing you know you have delicious food. I had pork GimBap and kimchi. Both well made and tasty. My wife had a vegetable rice noodle dish that was truly phenomenal. My Japanese Kagua Rouge Belgian Strong Dark ale was a perfect malty foil to the Korean food. On the way out our waitress thanked us for coming and gave us whoopee pies with thank you notes attached.....a nice touch

The chicken was good as well as the bulgogi kimbap. It was nice and quiet because they're still renovating. We didn't know it was takeout only. But the server cleaned up one table so we could sit. It was so fulfilling, we got enough chicken to bring home to snack on later.

This place is amazing. I wish they had one in Brooklyn. Their gimbap is best in NY and my best friend is Korean and very picky and she agrees. I always order way more to eat later because it's so addictive. Well done. Hopefully they make the bar cool and hospitable so more people dine in.

Was craving Kim Bap and luckily that's Lim's kitchen's specialty! I went all out and shared the vegan and kimchi kimbap with my wife while I got the bulgogi. Only time I've really had kimbap is in California where it's more plentiful and this definitely hit the spot! It was tasty and a solid portion size. Love the punch of the radish. Ordered the boneless fried chicken too which was good but texturally, I think it could benefit from being white instead of dark meat. Fairly priced and I love that they deliver to the UES. Will definitely order delivery again when in the mood for Korean comfort food!

I ordered this on my way to a nearby hotel and it arrived just minutes after I did. Talk about delivery! The order was well packed with plenty of utensils. I got toBulgogi over rice and Kimbap. Review on customer service - Beware that this place has two locations, one in LIC and Bayside (worlds away). I called the restaurant directly to place an order and was instructed to order via a food delivery service (personally don't understand why you'd want to share profits with one of the apps if a customer is willing to order from you directly but, ok). I go to pick up my order and turns out I accidentally ordered from the Bayside location. I ask one of the staff at LIC if they are connected and the lady said no, but then I call the Bayside location and they say they are connected.... (why you lying???) It would have been simple if the Bayside location could simply transfer my order to the LIC location but the restaurant owner wants me to call the app to get a refund and then order again through the app. It would take the two locations less than 5 mins to transfer the order (I already paid for my food...) but no. Seems like a lot of people make this mistake since both locations seemed to dealt with this issue before. TLDR- be more customer friendly and distinguish your name on the apps!!!! I don't care if your food is top notch there are tons of korean fast food places around , customer service is what's gonna differentiate you! Also side note, I've had their food once before. It was ok but have had better!! read more

So glad that Lim's kitchen is delivering out to Hunters Point South. We've been craving some great korean food and we definitely found it here! The fried chicken sandwich was delicious and still super crispy which is almost impossible when ordering delivery. The kimbap was exactly what we were looking for and packed with delicious meats and flavor. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. I have ordered takeout twice from this place, and the food was awesome both times. I ordered fried chicken, kim bap, and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) with sausage and they were all delicious. I was impressed that the chicken stayed crispy even after sitting for an hour in my bag. The outdoor seating area just opened, and it looks really cute and has plenty of seating so looking forward to visiting in person next time. read more

I order from Lim's every week. I love their Kimbaps - best ones I've had in NY! I tried tuna, bulgogi, pork, pork cutlet and they were all really good. I also love how they send small side dishes. Unlike most asian restaurants, food is not too salty and reminds me of home. I am excited to try out all the other main dishes. Thank you for the great quality food and service :) read more

Everything is delicious!!! Will definitely be ordering from here again. Bulgogi Kimbap was great. Choco Pie reminds me of my childhood. Spicy Tuna Kimbap is the perfect spicy tuna roll. Spicy Udon Noodle dish was also really good would have been nice to add some chicken to it. Kimchi was fresh and tasty. Kimchi pancakes were also savory. A lifesaver during covid times. We've sampled a variety of Korean delivery options in the area and keep coming back to Lim's kitchen. Great fresh food with fast delivery (they have their own delivery staff) and large portions! We usually get the beef tofu soup or the army stew as well as their spicy chicken sandwiches. Staying in LIC for work, and ordered food for delivery. The app said 40-50 minutes for delivery time when I ordered. They delivered my order within 20 minutes, and included a cup of miso soup and a choco pie for free (with a handwritten note wishing me a great day, and asking for feedback on how they can improve). The beef was perfection and very flavorful, there's not a single thing I would change. The pork was on the fattier side and I got full after one bite but it was good nonetheless. Their pork buns is my favorite, it's a good ratio of soft bun to pork. The ambiance is very pretty and the prices were great! I definitely recommend this spot!

Came here on a Tuesday night to grab dinner w/ a friend from out of town. We walked into a completely empty restaurant. A nice and gentle aesthetic but no other customers eating at ~6:30 pm. This raised some suspicions but since we were recommended Lim's by a local friend, we were going to give it the try it deserved and boy did it deliver. We ordered pretty light- a bulgogi kimbap, a small order of honey garlic chicken wings and a seafood soondubu. There isn't that much to say besides that all the food was pretty impressive. No "knock-your-socks-off" type flavors but that's not really what you're expecting when ordering Korean food. Everything was executed really well: Kimbap was simple but had great texture in each bite, Chicken wings were super crispy and moist inside, Soondubu was flavorful and comforting. Honestly speaking, I'm not really one to crave Korean food. I've eaten a lot of it over the few years that I've resided in New York but it's more often than not an extremely middling experience, especially for the price. Lim's left me feeling great and I would return in a heartbeat. I recommend it to anyone looking for Korean food in the area- 5/5! read more

We came here around 10:00 PM for a quick dinner after landing and stumbled upon this spot by chance. The restaurant was quiet, with no other dine-in guests at the time, but the service was still amazing. They even gave us a bell to call the server whenever we needed something, which was a thoughtful touch. I ordered the bibimbap with bulgogi, and it was massive. Every part of the dish hit the mark.
