I so wanted to try the Lanzhou inspired soup and after a long day of walking, this soup healed me. The broth was so rich and the prefect amount of spicy. The noodles were chewy and the meat was so tender. The meat was a bit fatty, but I love that kind of meat. Something about the combo of spicy warm broth, tender meat, and noodles coming together to create a perfect meal.

Stumbled across this gem today on a walk so I planned a little DoorDash to give it a try. I think I would honestly request the dumplings with chili oil as my dying meal. Joking aside they were the perfect combination of flavor, not too spicy but fluffy perfection. So fresh. The beef soup was also one of my favorite things I've eaten. Perfect beefy flavor with fresh noodles. I am already planning my next order and will likely go in person next time so I can give more menu items a try. Don't wait. Give this place a try.

Deciding to enjoy local fanfare in NYC on Lunar New Year's. Lin & Daughters was featuring a New Year's special of Golden Potato Dumplings for only $10.99 for a limited time served two ways: in house chili or in broth. I opted for the broth and was not disappointed. So tender , flavorful and comforting. As a side I went with the Rangoon cheese Scallion rolls. OMG - the most delectable curated scallion pancake I ever tasted . Do order this ! Very nice atmosphere inside , so welcoming . The service was excellent, I wanted a Ginger unsweetened iced tea and was accommodated with a Ginger sparkling water unsweetened - perfect complement to a hearty comfort food meal. I picked the perfect spot to venture to and will be revisiting with friends .

Stopped by randomly while in the area and there was plenty of seating! We ordered a few things from the menu since we were hungry, and honestly everything was okay. Nothing truly stood out from our selections which included - signature dumplings - signature beef noodle soup - spicy cucumber salad - cream cheese scallion pancake The signature dumplings , beef noodle soup and cucumber salad were good, but lacked depth and tasted like any other place. the cream cheese scallion pancake was bland and doughy. This place wasn't bad overall, but just didn't hit the spot for me.

Came across this place by complete chance and left satisfied! Inside is small but well lit and woodsy. Decorations for the holiday season and all year around strewn about. For its size, there's quite a selection of dishes to choose from: soups, noodles, dumplings and even boba! I ended up ordering a plate of peanut noodles for $10 and it was served pretty quickly. The noodles had a nice chew, and the overall flavor was more umami than peanutty. Not a complaint! But if you're expecting a peanut punch, this might not be the dish for you. At its price point, I do wish there were a bit more noodles. But I didn't walk out hungry and service was really nice. Overall, if you're looking for a good set of peanut noodles, maybe hold out for Chinatown and its more affordable fare. But if you're in midtown and have a craving that can't quit, Lin and Daughters is your go to!

Wonderful place with great food and friendly faces. We will be returning as soon as possible. Plus don't forget the incredible bubble tea and drinks.

Nice little space that recently opened up. The original location is in west village. The inside is nicely decorated. You order up at the front of the counter with the cashier and then get a number stand to bring to your table so that the staff can bring it to you if you're dining in. The food is definitely more like Asian style with an American taste/twist so it doesn't taste like your typical Chinese food that one might expect. Not a bad thing but just don't come in head expecting fully Chinese flavors because it's more fusion/American style.

I was walking by and stopped by the new Lin & Daughters store in flatiron/nomad. They also have another location in west village. It's got a cozy interior and was really clean inside including the bathroom. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! Everything tastes homemade and we liked everything we tried. The house shrimp dumplings in the lime cilantro sauce were super tasty. Both the wonton noodle soup and beef noodle soup were super comforting on the cold day. I definitely recommend adding some chili oil from the sauce area in the back to the soup for some extra flavor! I'll definitely be back to try some other items soon!

Super quick and nice casual Chinese noodle spot! Got the dan dan noodles and they were solid! Very quiet and clean place and the staff were really nice. Also got a yuzu lemonade which was quite good as well!

I found Lin and daughters a few years ago and till this date its still my FAVORITE. I've been to the West Village location more times than I can count so I was quite excited to try the flat iron location, let me tell you it is EVERYTHING! The beef noodle soup is a deeply warming soup filled with layers of spice that soothe and energize at the same time. Hearty and incredibly satisfying, it's comfort in a bowl. The dan dan noodles are delicious, perfectly cooked, satisfying, and clearly made with care. Every bite feels thoughtful and deeply comforting. I absolutely love the presentation as well!!! it's beautiful, inviting, and really shows the pride that goes into the dish. Beyond the food, the atmosphere makes the experience even better. The space feels warm and welcoming, the kind of place you immediately feel comfortable settling into. The restaurant is inviting, and it makes you want to slow down and truly enjoy your meal. This is the kind of restaurant you find yourself craving and happily returning to again and again.

Everything was absolutely delish and the service was quick. They were also out of the dessert we wanted - the green tea cheesecake but we had the pumpkin dessert which was phenomenal! Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The skewer meat was tough and difficult to chew through, while the burger had a mushy texture and lacked distinct flavor. The service is standard for a quick-service noodle shop; the staff isn't overtly helpful or friendly, but they aren't inhospitable either. Stick strictly to the wide noodle dishes if you decide to visit.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

Once "dinner" hours comes around, they set out candles on the tables and dim the lights for a different ambiance. The service was a bit off at first, since we waited a while to get our appetizers.
