Chicken fried steak, eggs and hash browns.

Stopped by with friends. We were looking for a place to grab a solid breakfast; Yelp didn't disappoint. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It is in a strip mall and has two entrances. It isn't very big inside and is reminiscent of an old diner. How much do these things matter to you if the food is good and reasonably priced? The menu doesn't go on for multiple pages. It is your basic breakfast and lunch joint. You know it is solid because it was packed and you had people of all ages. Our group started out with coffee. While I can guarantee it wasn't a high end blend, it was hot and flavorful. Our cups were never empty as someone was always bringing around a refill. I ordered the country fried steak. It was prepared well and was tasty. My sunny side up eggs were perfect and the hashbrowns were crispy (as ordered). My toast was good, even though it wasn't rye bread, as I had ordered. My tablemates had omelettes and sides of pancakes. Both enjoyed their meals, but didn't like the processed cheese slices on top of their omelettes. Overall, the inside needs some TLC, but the meals were good, ample and reasonably priced. I'd give it another go in the future.

This has become my new favorite cozy spot to grab a casual bite for breakfast. It is so unassuming but it's really the best place to get all the classics at a very reasonable price. AND they serve breakfast all day. I have been ordering the Two x Two x Two with sausage, scrambled eggs and chocolate chip pancakes or french toast. Finally the servers are always friendly and kind--I love the family-owned vibe. I'm so glad my boyfriend introduced me to this cute cafe!

This place was great. I don't live in Wisconsin anymore, but I went home to visit family and stopped at Lina's to grab a quick bite for breakfast. All of the staff were super friendly and the breakfast burrito I had was delicious. I didn't dine in, but the inside was a nice little diner with plenty of room. Definitely recommend!

While driving to West Bend I posted in a foodie group on social media asking for suggestions for places that serve a breakfast burrito. One of the first replies mentioned Lina's Cafe, which reminded me that I had previously bookmarked them but hadn't yet tried them. I made a slight detour to Slinger and placed a to go order for a bacon, egg, and cheese burrito with crispy hash browns. The hash browns were sort of crispy, the top moreso than the bottom. Unfortunately, they were bland. No salt or pepper and no buttery flavor from being grilled with butter. Just plain potato. It didn't dawn on me until I was in my car that I didn't receive a utensil packet, so I didn't have any salt or pepper that I could add on my own. The breakfast burrito was good, but not made like I ordered. I asked for bacon and it came with sausage. It took a half an hour for the food to be made because they were so busy and I didn't feel like going back in and waiting to have it remade, so I just ate it. I'd like to try it again with the bacon I expected. The dining area has around 12 to 14 booths and tables combined, most of which were added during a recent expansion, with maybe 10 seats at the counter and every seat was taken with a couple people waiting for something to open up. While sitting at the counter I was overhearing several conversations where employees were referring to customers that were waiting for a table by name and customers were making small talk with employee about how school is going, so this is clearly a place that has a strong, loyal following that allows for relationship building over time. Good for them.

The food was great, service was excellent. My only knock was the serving sizes were on the small side.

This is an awesome dinner for a hardy breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are very nice. But the country fried steak and eggs are a home run!

This cafe is a hidden gem. I love super close and seldom visit, which is a shame because it is such a cost neighborhood cafe.

It's a busy place so we had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning, but I was OK with it. The building itself is pretty good sized. They have a couple of different rooms with lots of tables and booths. They also have some tables outside to wait at, but I'm not sure if they have an actual outdoor patio to eat at. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They all definitely work well as a team. I started out with just a plain black coffee. They also have iced coffees and Frappuccino type coffees. I believe they have juices and can even make some cocktails like mimosas. They did offer me sugar and cream with my coffee, but I just like my coffee black so that's how I ordered it. For my entrée, I ordered the village omelette and added gyro. It comes with spinach, tomatoes, and feta so the gyro meat sounded delightful in it. It also came with a choice of side, and I opted for fresh fruit. And then finally, you can choose between pancakes or toast. I went with plain sourdough toast. Everything was great and super fresh. The omelette was filling and well-made. They have a gyro sandwich and based on that omelette, I would definitely get the sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful. And the feta gave the perfect little salty tang. I actually want to re-create the omelette that I had there here in Kansas City because it was so so good. The fruit was fresh and was mainly just honeydew and cantaloupe. And the toast was a perfect vehicle for some of the omelette to my mouth. Overall, I loved this brunch spot. If I lived in the area, I would go pretty regularly. If you are up north in Wisconsin stop in and check them out because you will not be disappointed.

No one had to remind her to fill drinks, clear their place when finished, bring them the check etc. I mean she was definitely on top of things. The food was served in generous portions, and made to order. It was cooked well and served hot. The drink selection is Pepsi products with a variety of soft drinks, coffee, water, milk, juice, milkshakes, and a variety of beers. The diner feeling is ever present and this restaurant offers a relaxing experience. The food is good, the price is fair, the service is top notch.
