Went in on a Sunday morning after camping in the area. The place was fairly busy but the prices and smells looked good enough to wait for a table at the door. Not one server acknowledged us or told us a wait time. We just stood there for 10 minutes until another couple lined up behind us, and the server proceeded to seat them without checking who arrived first. We left. read more

Stopped by with friends. We were looking for a place to grab a solid breakfast; Yelp didn't disappoint. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It is in a strip mall and has two entrances. It isn't very big inside and is reminiscent of an old diner. How much do these things matter to you if the food is good and reasonably priced? The menu doesn't go on for multiple pages. It is your basic breakfast and lunch joint. You know it is solid because it was packed and you had people of all ages. Our group started out with coffee. While I can guarantee it wasn't a high end blend, it was hot and flavorful. Our cups were never empty as someone was always bringing around a refill. I ordered the country fried steak. It was prepared well and was tasty. My sunny side up eggs were perfect and the hashbrowns were crispy (as ordered). My toast was good, even though it wasn't rye bread, as I had ordered. My tablemates had omelettes and sides of pancakes. Both enjoyed their meals, but didn't like the processed cheese slices on top of their omelettes. This has become my new favorite cozy spot to grab a casual bite for breakfast. It is so unassuming but it's really the best place to get all the classics at a very reasonable price. AND they serve breakfast all day. I have been ordering the Two x Two x Two with sausage, scrambled eggs and chocolate chip pancakes or french toast. Finally the servers are always friendly and kind--I love the family-owned vibe. I'm so glad my boyfriend introduced me to this cute cafe! read more

This is an awesome dinner for a hardy breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are very nice. But the country fried steak and eggs are a home run!

While driving to West Bend I posted in a foodie group on social media asking for suggestions for places that serve a breakfast burrito. One of the first replies mentioned Lina's Cafe, which reminded me that I had previously bookmarked them but hadn't yet tried them. I made a slight detour to Slinger and placed a to go order for a bacon, egg, and cheese burrito with crispy hash browns. The hash browns were sort of crispy, the top moreso than the bottom. Unfortunately, they were bland. No salt or pepper and no buttery flavor from being grilled with butter. Just plain potato. It didn't dawn on me until I was in my car that I didn't receive a utensil packet, so I didn't have any salt or pepper that I could add on my own. The breakfast burrito was good, but not made like I ordered. I asked for bacon and it came with sausage. It took a half an hour for the food to be made because they were so busy and I didn't feel like going back in and waiting to have it remade, so I just ate it. I'd like to try it again with the bacon I expected. The dining area has around 12 to 14 booths and tables combined, most of which were added during a recent expansion, with maybe 10 seats at the counter and every seat was taken with a couple people waiting for something to open up. While sitting at the counter I was overhearing several conversations where employees were referring to customers that were waiting for a table by name and customers were making small talk with employee about how school is going, so this is clearly a place that has a strong, loyal following that allows for relationship building over time. My husband and I are big on trying new places and happened to be in the area for a wedding. Super cute little place with a very homey feel. It was a little on the busier side, so it took us just a little longer to get our food. With that being said, our waitress was very friendly and always quick to get us refills. I ordered the garbage skillet and the only thing I'd have to say is I felt like the portion I got was a little on the smaller side. Definitely could have had more hash browns than what came with it. It was absolutely delicious, I just wish there would have been more. Regardless, I can definitely see myself coming back in the future...I might just order an extra side of hash browns to add in myself. read more

A small home town cafe with big flavor. We met up with a couple of friends who frequent this business. It is small but the food was delicious and the menu big. I ordered the corn beef hash omelette with a side of French toast. I have not had French toast in years so it was a welcomed deliciousness. The corned beef omelette was tasty also. I can't decide if I would rather have my corned beef on the side or in the omelette- kind of a toss up. The others in our party had pancakes, hash-browns, sausage links and omelette and all enjoyed their food. Statement was made that this is not exceptional food but standards hometown cafe food with low prices. Service was fast and friendly. The staff alone is amazing in this cozy brunch spot. I personally haven't had the honor of trying all their menu items but golly their food hits the spot every time. Everything is amazing from their fluffy pancakes made with lots of love to their burgers paired with its load of fries. Their service is always done in a timely manner even when busy and the waitresses are fantastic. Large or small groups are bound to have a delicious meal and a great ambiance. This cafe is a hidden gem. I love super close and seldom visit, which is a shame because it is such a cost neighborhood cafe.

9.75 for a steak breakfast, what's even better is it was 23 dollars for 2 people to have a full breakfast... you cannot beat them prices, and it was very good food ... excellent and friendly staff... this is the diamond in the ruff people look for .. highly recommend read more

We stopped for breakfast with our grandson. We had a great breakfast! The grandson's pancakes were big and filled him up and he loved the chocolate milk. I went today with my mother asked for strawberry jelly they said they were restricted and they gave me 2 packages with great effort. asked for coffee 4 times to the waitresses there and none went they only told me "sorry trying to care for the orders" at last I was paying and they said oh sorry for the coffee with the worst attitude ever. Used to come here years ago to visit the tanning salon there. Was in the area noticed the name change and wanted to stop by. First time no place to sit, tried several more times since we are taking our dog to the pool. Finally we got a table. What I didn't expect to do was walk out hungry. I had a skillet which the food other than the eggs didn't cover the bottom. There was hardly anything to the Irish. It was canned corned beef and they couldn't even fill it to the sides. My friend had traditional egg, potatoes, meat and toast. Theirs was ok but again the plate wasn't full. The potatoes were sparse. This was a big letdown because I like to support local businesses but I can't afford to eat here and go to Burger King after. read more
