Best dive bar in tremont hands down. The wings are me and my friends go-to order if we ever want food. Beers are cheap and the bartenders are always friendly. Don't go to this place is you are looking for something fancy. It's a gritty bar that the regulars love and want to keep it that way

4 stars for the spacious, well maintained patio and for the great wings. This dive bar is kind of grimy on the inside but that's also what gives it some charm. Will definitely be back for the wings.

Lincoln Park Pub is one of those places that you'd expect more people to know about, but thankfully most don't. Although it's packed on glorious Taco Tuesday, it's not to the gills with with weirdos. Mostly it's just Tremont locals who know where to find great food on the cheap, a chill vibe and good brews. I need to take a moment to discuss Lincoln Park's fantastical tacos, but note I've only been here for these nights. First things first: this place is going to be busy. Just know that. You'll walk-in and see lots of cool folks chatting it up at the bar, but trust me... be on a table-finding-mission. I've actually swooped tables right as people were leaving, that's how important this step is. Once you're seated, take a minute to notice the thrifty Mexican beer prices. Yup, you're seeing clearly. Nothing is better than cheap, tasty beers to wash down the delectable tacos you're about to consume. You'll have a choice of black bean, beef or a combo of both--$1 each! Lincoln Park Pub fries up their tortillas fresh and serves their tacos up hot, medium or mild. You read that right! They put hot sauce on their tacos! Brilliant! You can order extra toppings to come with your tacos, but I like to keep it simple. If anything, I'll order a side of guac and chips, which are made from pita! The service can be a little so-so on busy nights like Tuesday. I usually have to flag a waitress down to get their attention. But, it's a delicious food and drinks for cheap. It's packed! These people are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I like to cut them some slack. My next point of action is to get to LPP on a night other than Tuesday and try some of the other specials on their menu. Until then, you'll probably hear me crunchin' lots of taco-y goodness.

Ok, there's room for improvement because of two reasons: 1) this was my first time here 2) maybe other food options will be better So I LOVE tacos / Mexican. I saw the reviews for the tacos here and they were all or mostly all of them were good to very good. Naturally, I had to give taco night a go .. Well, I must admit I was very disappointed. They are definitely nothing I would brag about or tell my friends it's a place we need to go or go back to. Maybe they would be better at 2:30 am but taco night only goes until midnight.. I had the combo and the special. The special tonight was steak (the type of steak is escaping me) but the steak itself was actually pretty good as far as taste goes. The combo (black beans and beef) was not very good at all. I'm a sauce fanatic. When the waitress named off the sauces I asked for 3 on the side.. I got 1 and it wasn't one I asked for. Furthermore, the sauce was buffalo sauce! You know, the kind you would put on chicken wings...for tacos?! Gross. Finally, our waitress was pretty terrible. It took her forever to come to our table initially and the time or two she stopped to check in she pretty much did so in passing. I might give burger or wing night a chance but sadly I think taco night at LPP is a one and done deal.

The food arrived fairly quickly and I was impressed at the size of the meal. A large fillet perfectly fried and crispy. The fries were ok, but they do offer malt vinegar on the side and a the tartar sauce was good. The place definitely has that old English pub feel and appeared to be clean and orderly. You won't even be able to stand. As for my other visit, it was on a Friday night. A nice sized crowd, full bar. Sports game on the television. A nice atmosphere for a neighborhood bar. A great touch is the 1 pinball machine in the corner. Older game but it does take up something to do with friends. As with service we were told that the bar is extremely behind by a rude bartender named Meg. You can tell she was overwhelmed and just seemed to be having a rough day. A few minutes later we were told by staff that the kitchen was now closed. Pretty strange as the menu is mainly all bar served fried food or burgers etc. The bartender also announced that they were out of fish as well. I continued to order drinks, they were cold and tasted as advertised. About an hour or so later , the kitchen was then re opened when the bar was less crowded. I order a dozen wings, garlic Parmesan with ranch. The wings were real solid. Nice and crispy and the garlic and parm combo was just enough. The basket of fries we got were average fries. Not crispy, nor salty but atleast they were hot. The prices were about average, no complaints about that. Overall, the bar does not seem to handle stress or large crowds very well. My wings were good, fries were average like I said. My friends attend this bar often and did tell me that this bar is not like this usually. May have been a rough day. I assume I will be back again, I wouldn't pick this place to go to but the location is close enough to the area we hang out. Not so much of any certain type of theme at the bar but I did notice the staff recognize many patrons by name so it will continue to be the neighborhood bar for many. Overall a 6.7 out of 10.

Our server was great - very attentive but not overbearing, drinks replenished quickly and food didn't take too long. We got the seafood gumbo, crawfish etoufee, jambalaya and chicken basket. The food was good, not great. It was just kind of bland and I was expecting some flavorful broths for the gumbo and etoufee but we had to add a lot of salt, pepper and hot sauce. I don't even like overly spicy food but this had no kick at all. Thought the gumbo would have some depth of flavor from the roux but it just didn't. We skipped appetizers for dessert and told the waitress that is what we were doing when we ordered entrees. Would have been nice if she told us they were out of 2 of their 6 desserts. We were looking forward to the King Cake -only available on the weekend, and the creme brulee and they were out of both. They opened at 12 and we were sat at 12:30 so imagine they were out when we arrived. The beignets were very good, the key lime pie was just ok, not super strong lime flavor. I think the pricing is fair for the food, but don't like the addition of an administrative fee. I think it was around $5. I am guessing this is for credit cards? Although we were never advised of the fee or asked if we wanted to pay cash. I run a business and credit card fees are part of doing business, I find this tacky on top of a $210 bill. Also be warned a 20% gratuity is added for a party of 5 - which I have never seen before as it is usually for 6 or more.

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either.
