Gluten free pancakes

Absolutely amazing. There for USAV Nationals and needed this at the end of the weekend. Super quick and everything was amazing. Smaller place but don't let that discourage you. They have signs on table that you get an hour - because they crank it out. Highly recommend

This place was absolutely amazing and everything that was advertised. I had the Greek omelette and wife had The Entire Farm. I was jealous because hers was amazing. Mine was great too but hers was amazing. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is best described as a greasy spoon/ diner. Awesome visit! Wish we could have eaten it all.

Good breakfast spot in downtown Indianapolis. Service was excellent! Coffee was kept filled . Had the homemade corn beef hash. With side of pancakes. Over all pretty good spot for breakie. Happy they were open on Easter.

Go Pacers!!! Inside restaurant

Was in town for Pacers game and this spot hit the spot. Service was great, fast & friendly. Menu has plenty of healthy options. The pancakes are great and no syrup is needed as they are tasty on their own. Go with the turkey sausage even if you love bacon. Trust me on this. I always trust a place will be yummy when locals hit it too. VERY crisp diet Pepsi which is a must for me. Hahahaha Prices are great too.

I don't think we could change a thing!! We were greeted and served promptly, no wait for table, service or food! No real wait for food from kitchen and it was hot, generous and very tasty!! No order mistakes! It was quiet enough to hear each other, yet busy enough that tables next to us didn't hear our conversation. Wished we lived near this place because it would be our regular!

Everything here, went well. They were packed but moving and grooving. Our wait time wasn't long and our server was so nice. ( I forgot her name) She was nice, attentive and busy. I opted for the breakfast burrito w Chorizo. It was good, nice size and flavors. This came with salsa verde and guac on the side! Their menu is huge plenty to choose from and affordable. I see why they have so many locations. It's working!!! Shout out to the whole staff y'all our doing breakfast and atmosphere right!

Blueberry Stuffed Pancakes

Went to Lincoln Square Pancake House twice on my recent trip to Indy and thoroughly enjoyed the food both times! The blueberry stuffed pancakes were delightful, and I loved that I could substitute for them in some of the meal plates. The staff was friendly and prompt with the service, and the restaurant interior was clean. If I lived near downtown Indy, this would be a breakfast/brunch staple for me. But alas, I'll have to wait until I return to the city again to enjoy the food here.

This was a great spot to grab breakfast before leaving Indiana. It's within walking distance of the Conrad Hotel, where we stayed. This was a plus so we didn't have to worry with the hassle of trying to find parking. They were very busy, but we didn't have a wait time. It's well worth the wait though. For the portion size we received it's worth every penny. This diner had fairly decent seating and was filled with laughter and conversation from all the patrons within. I highly recommend the French toast platter. The toast was fluffy and soft with the bacon cooked perfectly.

Homemade Corned Beef Hash Meal with pancakes

Probably my favorite meal on my trip to Indy. Stopped here for breakfast after looking at the pictures and reviews on Yelp. In talking to some locals, they agreed that they all like this restaurant and there are several around the city. There are TONS of options on the two-side menu they bring you. Good luck narrowing it down. So many great looking breakfast items. I ended up choosing the Corned Beef Hash that comes with eggs & hashbrowns, and I chose pancakes (2) as my side. All the items tasted great. The server was super friendly and attentive. She stopped by a couple of times during the meal to check on me and my coffee. She also offered to get me a to-go cup of coffee on my way out if I wanted one.

Veggie Skillet & French Toast

YUM! Quality brunch food for a good price! The thick stack of blueberry stuffed pancakes, French toast with cinnamon whipped butter, veggie egg scramble and hash browns were all delicious. Now we are stuffed! This location is right next to the capital building and also only a block away from the circle, so the location was tough for parking, but a fun place to wander around before or after (especially if you're new to Indy). The staff was very friendly and attentive. They also didn't rush us even though it was getting close to closing time for them.

Chicken fried steak, biscuits and hash browns, two eggs on the side. All perfectly cooked
Shaun L.

Some of the most delicious food I've had recently. The chicken fried steak was incredible, crunchy but not overcooked. Perfect over medium eggs and hash browns. Also tried the Alex Skillet with fried eggs - incredible sauce and flavors. Highly recommend going here. Service was so good, we were very well taken care of three times in a row during a busy convention week. Classic diner vibes and seating. Can't recommend any more highly. So much food too!

Twain said "People who love sausage and respect the law should never watch either being made." While the west side of Capitol Ave. is responsible for the latter, the east side, although not making it, certainly serves wonderful sausage along with many other tasty diner plates at Lincoln Square Pancake House. I've eaten at other locations, and this one certainly meets the same standard. Very friendly service, a warm, inviting atmosphere, and no frills dining. I usually steer clear of skillets. Just never know if a catastrophe-on-a-plate will be served. But, I had the German skillet and it was terrific. They also have a nice menu of lighter options. Four stars, but the prices are such a great value, easy to give it five.

Breakfast burrito with hash browns, a side of fruit, and green tea

3.5 stars on the food; 5 stars for the friendly staff and speedy service! Despite being super packed, the Lincoln Square Pancake House moved through the waitlist quickly and got people seated in what felt like very little time! Similarly, once we were seated, servers promptly came to check in and get our orders, then brought out drinks and food very shortly thereafter. It's a very no-frills space, but bright and lively on our visit. The food was generally solid diner food -- lots of pancakes, omelets, scrambles, and the like. We got the Breakfast Burrito and the Pesto Omelet, as well as coffee and tea. My partner enjoyed his burrito, and said it was flavorful and filling. I was somewhat less keen on my omelet, though I didn't dislike it. The Pesto Omelet was supposed to have feta cheese, spinach, and sun-dried tomatoes in an egg-white omelet topped with pesto, but mine had fresh tomatoes rather than sun-dried and the feta was mysteriously absent, which was a bit disappointing even though the omelet still tasted good overall (mostly, I expect, due to the flavorful pesto on top!). I will say that the hash browns on the side were great. Zero complaints on the hash browns! I think it's likely that the missteps were due to how busy it was due to the convention. I'd still recommend Lincoln Square Pancake House for a traditional diner breakfast!

I went with a Malibu and ginger ale, and it was served in this cute glass, I loved it! We were all so hungry, so we started out with a large order of fries, and they are a standout. They disappeared fast, came served on paper, and were crispy, hot, and delicious. We ordered the 2 10-piece wings (the biggest order available), including one batch cooked extra crispy. The wings were good, and I especially enjoyed the Fat Dan's hot BBQ sauce over the regular BBQ. I really liked the extra crispy wings. My boys also wanted burgers. One ordered the Wake N Bake Burger and the other got the Fat Dan's Burger. Both looked tasty, and neither of them complained. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between sports bar and family friendly restaurant. There is seating both inside and outside, and when the weather is nice, they open the large doors to create an open-air feel. That's where we sat, and I enjoyed it. Service was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated since my family arrived hungry. This is a solid spot for burgers, wings, and fries.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!

The sandwich is about as long as my humerus, and I ate the whole dang thing in one sitting. New York Gourmet Deli is not to be confused with NY Gourmet Deli, also in Indy. New York Gourmet Deli is located on East 21st Street on the near east side; NY Gourmet Deli is on Ruckle Street, near The Children's Museum. Are they owned by the same people? I don't know, but someone needs to change their name so I'm less confused. Anyway, New York Gourmet Deli, on the east side, is great and located in an unassuming parking lot full of potholes. It looks like a liquor store from the outside, but step inside and you'll see the large deli counter where you order sandwiches, burgers, fries and other foods. The joint is also a convenience store, of sorts, with a wall full of refrigerated beverages, aisles of chips, candy, and lots of Mexican snacks. There's also a little corner of the store with goods like laundry detergent and other necessities. The hustle here is unmatched. The fellows behind the counter were flying all over the kitchen to fulfill the orders. I visited around noon on a weekday, which seemed to be a busy time because there were lots of people from all walks of life here, either waiting to order or waiting for their orders. The guys behind the counter were unflappable and took orders and made sandwiches at a speedy pace. Even if there's a line, you won't wait long for your food.

I've struggled with how to rate and review Goose the Market for a long time…read more I've struggled mightily. It's an Indianapolis icon in many ways. It's beloved. And listen, it's not the most wheelchair friendly place in the world. If you're a wheelchair user, you're in all likelihood not going to the cellar unless you're extraordinary with you're chair or you crawl. I remember attending a Yelp event here, and I just wrestled with these issues so much. It's not inaccessible - you can get in the door, though even the parking is a bit wonky and the curb-cuts a bit worn. This is an older building in an older neighborhood. So yeah, if you're a wheelchair user plan ahead. I am a wheelchair user. And I suppose I should knock off my usual 1-star for accessibility issues. But, I just can't do it. I, instead, choose to go 5-stars with my narrative disclaimer that there are accessibility issues here. But, my word. This is a great place and every single experience I've had with Goose the Market, including last night's Italian Film Festival, has been stellar whether I'm in their location or at an event they are catering. What is Goose the Market? First off, nearly everyone considers it one of the best - Indianapolis Monthly, Eater, Yelp, etc. Goose the Market offers a daily menu of sandwiches, soups, gelato, and small plates. It offers raw beef, pork, poultry, game, seafood, in-house made sausage/smoked meats, and more. It offers charcuterie - both in-house and from other producers. It offers farmstead cheeses, fresh produce, artisan breads, preserves, sauces, pickles, pasta, crackers, flours/grains, and a lot more. There's the cellar - Enoteca bar with Italian style wine by the glass and small plates (and it has all-ages seating). Goose the Market offers a wine of the month club, gift cards, catering, classes, daily specials, and more. What can I say? There are those places that are worth the effort. As a lifelong person with a disability, I long ago realized the world would never be perfectly accessible. It's never going to happen. I'll continue to work toward a more accessible world, though I'll also honor that there are those places where I feel welcome anyway. I feel welcome at Goose the Market, though I can't quite get the full experience. The service is exceptional, the products quite awesome, the environment warm and friendly, and there's simply no doubt it's one of Indy's treasures. So yeah, five stars. With a disclaimer that those with mobility impairments may need to plan ahead or have a companion along. Who wants to be my companion?

Bacon making class: overall I am glad I did the class, but think there are some things that could change. The information provided at the beginning of the class didn't flow the best, and used a lot of terms I didn't understand- knowing your audience is important. We were told we would get 1.5lbs bacon, and .5lbs bacon bits. When picking up the bacon, we only got the bacon, and none of the bits. This needs to be updated on the class description. Sandwiches: we tried a goose, and a batalli. The goose was good- nothing spectacular. I was a fan of the batalli- nice amount of mayo, appropriate spice, and good amount of meat/cheese. Would definitely get the batalli next time. Overall, I enjoy the sandwiches, think the sandwich class could be improved.
