Food is good you can't really go wrong with it, $7 for a taco is kinda expensive, but I mean it's good just don't think I could get a better price somewhere else. Service is a hit and miss , I've had some bad experiences with how they communicate with customers but today is actually pretty good he was friendly and helpful too. They're located at the wailuku food trucks across subway and lots of table so you can eat here during lunch. I got the Al pastor and carne asada's taco Al pastor was too dry for me, the carne asada is good tho

Tried this place out for lunch today. I ordered the carne asada burrito with beans, rice, cilantro, onions the taste was ok. I think the grill needs to be seasoned more. The portions were good for the price. The spice salsa was good but needed more flavor. As they are a new food truck I will be back to try them again after a few weeks. The service was good and fast. I like the ambiance of the place as they are located at the Da Tambayan Corner. Which is the new food truck spot in Kahului. I like it because there are covered tables to sit at. It's clean and I like several of the food trucks that are located here. I will definitely be back to try some other menu items.

Really recommend stopping by as they were one of the businesses affected by the Lāhaina fires! The faces behind the truck are always kind whenever I stop by, and I love all of their food selections. Personal favorite is the Birria, but also would recommend any of their quesadillas as well! - Miguel Morales Photography

Great food and even better service! The Al Pastor Burrito was action Jackson and the portions were major!!!! Fresh ingredients, stellar service, amazing food, and totally recommended 100/10

Took my baby to the Matcha/Boba festival after work today and bumped into one of my girlfriends. She recommended their Birria tacos and I was not disappointed. Can't wait to try her other items on her menu. Check it out

Decided to try Linda's based on my fellow Yelper Tris' review. Great suggestion on ordering the quesabirria tacos. We called in our order a half hour before closing on a weekday and the food was ready upon arrival. Great location and lots of parking. My husband got the quesabirria tacos, the kids shared a carne asada burrito loaded with pico de gallo, cheese and avocado and I did a 3 taco plate with chicken tinga, carne asada and al pastor. The quesabirria tacos were flavorful and fresh, topped with cilantro and onions and came with chile verde salsa and consomme broth to dip. My kids loved the burrito. Meat was tasty and tender and it was a good balance of rice, beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese and avocado. This was definitely filling and was the highlight of the night. I had a 3 taco plate each with a different protein. Carne asada was topped with onions and cilantro, al pastor had onions, cilantro and sauteed pineapple and chicken tinga was drizzled with chipotle and a tomato sauce. All very unique, great texture and bursting with flavor. Would highly recommend any of the dishes we ordered, but the burrito won overall.

So we were drinking a beer at Kohola Brewery (see my review) and told that just a short walk away was a collection of food trucks. We walked through a opened chain link fence, across some old, unused railroad tracks, on a dirt road and found what we were looking for. We wandered around the trucks 5 or 6, and decided on the Mexican Food. There are a few picnic tables with umbrellas if you want to eat it there. But we were going back to the brewery. We both ordered Tacos. I had the Pork Adobo, and my wife had the Carne Asada. I have to say that these were AWESOME. Some of the best tacos ever and definitely on Maui in this reporter's opinion. The pork was moist and very flavorful, cooked to perfection. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. Really GOOD! I had three of these tacos. The wifey had the Carne Asada and the meat had a GREAT flavor and was moist and tasty as well - served with the same salsa. All the tacos were all stuffed with as much meat as they could get in the tortilla. This was an INCREDIBLE Find. We're going to go by again before we leave Maui to get some more tacos! Addendum - Stopped by on Sunday Afternoon - They had closed so we missed out by like 30 minutes. BUT Swaghy Beef was open (See my review)

No worries; it's worth waiting for. She gave me a pager, and we watched the chickens while we waited for our 4 soft birria tacos. As always, it was worth the wait. The burria was plentiful, with cilantro and diced onion, on the tacos. The flavor was excellent, especially with their tomatillo salsa and a squeeze of fresh lime. Glad to see the sliced radish, the pickled jalapeño and (oh, man) the marinated carrot slices! As if that isn't good enough, we also got a burria burrito to go. Let's start by saying, they pulled into the pole position of my most delectable Mexican food bite and place in Hawaii (albeit only had on Oahu and Maii, lol). My order: Chorizo Burrito Bowl and maaayynnn Thai thing was loaded. Starts with a layer of rice, beans, chorizo, green and red cabbage, pico de gallo, avacado, topped with chipotle aioli. Then on the side is a lime, pickled carrots, jalapeño, radish, and I chose spicy salsa. The bowl is huge,, and i stuffed my face and finished every bite haha; it goes to say hot great it was. The rice and beans are a perfect layer of goodness, the crunch from the fresh veggies, that smoky and spicy (light) of the chorizo, richness of that avacado, and finished off with that nice creamy aioli. Then I hit it with the kick or the lime and extra spice of the salsa. I'm in heaven. Oh then add side tart, tangy, and crunchy bites of the pickled veg. Waaaaawhoooo was my tummy happy. I'd like to say, I want to come back and all their other options such as their soft and questo tacos or biria. However as I am not in Maui much, probably going back for my home run. Hopefully next time someone else is with me so I can try their choices haha. The staff were friendly and food came out in good time. They are located on the back side of the food truck area, so don't pass them by if you just jump into the main area. Definitely recommend them for all who havent.

They have an all day Breakfast Menu and probably still the only Mexican restaurant that offers Complimentary Chips and Salsa which is a plus. They have a Kihei location near my home but this Kahului location is where I usually frequent after work and they offer great daily specials throughout the week. I usually will get myself a refreshing glass of Horchata. This Cinnamon Rice Drink goes perfect with any Mexican dish to relieve that spice. I will most likely stick to a top 5- Ala Carte Taco (if you visit on Mondays, Tacos are $3.95!), Chicken Tortilla Soup, Caldo De Res (not pictured- Mexican Beef Soup with Potatoes and Carrots), Chicken Quesadilla with sour cream and guacamole on the side and Chorizo Con Huevos (Mexican Pork Sausage with Eggs). I have friends that are Regulars here and they usually get their Birria Tacos or Burritos and they love it! Unfortunately I got Chorizo Con Huevos on this last meal and the Chorizo & Eggs was very over done. (I should've said something but I was hungry). But the plate does come with your choice of Flour or Corn Tortillas and the most fluffiest Rice and Creamy Beans. I rated a 4 because mostly everything else I've ordered has been great and the service is always good even when they're pretty busy. The chips and salsa satisfy and help the busy waiting period go faster and you can always ask for a salsa refill.

When I initially called about the big black hair in my food it was dark and dinner time I just fed my kids the food for dinner. They told me they would give me a full refund when I called the night before but as of today because I didn't bring the food back immediately when I got there they chose to treat me like Im an asshole for wanting my money back and said they'll give me 4.50 cuz it was in the rice. I threw the food out after I took the picture and made my own food. Im the sole parent of two small children so I communicated that I couldn't make it back that night. Not I wouldn't, I couldn't because bedtime routine and school is important. They never communicated that I will not be refunded the same if I didn't come back immediately. There's no way they are taking proper health precautions if there was a hair deep in the rice and if they are then it was intentionally put in my food. I wasn't rude or upset to begin with. They made me wait outside for like ten minutes while the front desk girl went to talk to someone and saw the bartender laughing about it and everyone looking at me and talking. You could have made a happy customer and just taken accountability or offer me a drink or a voucher or something but you chose to be disrespectful and offer me 4.50 so yeah I got upset and asked to speak to the manager cuz that's wrong and she lied and said they weren't in after just telling me they were. As the sole parent i dont get to make a lot of money on my own to eat out and that was supposed to be a special thing for us, and your lack of hospitality was a horrible experience for me and I didn't get to eat the food I bought. It's the principle. I've worked in customer service for years and what you did wasn't right. Your manager refused to speak to me and made the front desk girl lie to avoid the issue and made her handle it. I mentioned the health department because how would a hair get in there if you take all proper health precautions? And I said how do I know you are all washing your hands, wearing gloves, and hairnets when there's a hair in the food? Front desk girl then said the manager can hear everything from the camera yet still refused to handle it themselves so no you don't take care of your employees or stand behind them, you let her deal with the angry customer alone while you watched from your desk. Valid crash out on my part.

Their big blue truck can't be missed as they are located right on the corner. They serve up a handful of Mexican favorites from tacos to burritos, quesadillas, menudo, and even a taco salad. What piqued my interest was one of their specialty items that was marked available on Saturdays and Sundays only -- their birria ramen. No one has this available on their menu regularly (that I know of) so if you've been wanting to try it... this is the spot. When I stopped by the food truck lot again for lunch, I was happy to see that it was actually one of their specials that was available so I didn't have to wait for the weekend. It didn't have a price on it on the specials board so I was a little shocked when my total came out to $19. (Their regular menu says $12, so not sure if it was served differently that day?). My order came out quickly and I was happy to see that it came with limes and 3 tortillas. It reminded me of how my birria taco order came when I was in LA. One bite and I must say it was pretty tasty. The broth had good flavor and the meat was very tender. Don't forget to squeeze in the limes for an extra hit of flavor; it makes all the difference! While it tasted good, I could have honestly done without the ramen. I would rather eat it all as just a soup, haha! Overall though, I enjoyed it and am glad I finally got to try it. The price was a little on the steep end, so it won't be something I have regularly. My coworkers who got their crispy tacos enjoyed their meal as well. The family that owns is truck is from Jalisco, Mexico so I definitely look forward to exploring the menu more and tasting some authentic Mexican flavors and food. Parking is available on the Kahului Library side and a really nice covered eating area with ample tables and seating is available. Some evenings they even do karaoke at the food truck lot.

I sat down and waited, she calls my order 3 times. I mean I don't have wings to fly, I was getting up to get it, apparently it was not fast enough for her. I had to say coming, that was ridiculous so I bring the plate to my table and start eating, and I only had gotten one chiller relleno instead of 2, mind you It was super tiny. They use Anaheim peppers, cheating the customers because chiles rellenos are made with poblano peppers .
