Delicious smash burger and candied pecan salad
    Kat B.

LOUD AF on a Tuesday night with incredibly slow service. I like to eat in local places while we're on the road. Read about this place being historic with a beautiful bar and lovely tin ceiling. And that is all true. Walked in and could not believe how loud the single singer with an acoustic guitar was. There was a sound engineer, working a board, so he must've thought that level was OK. But you could not have a conversation at all. I was wishing for earplugs. When we first stepped in, I considered just looking at the carved mahogany bar and going somewhere else. But, we figured it should be fast and we could endure the cacophony for a short time. We were so wrong about it being fast. There was only one wait staff working that night, and she was also behind the bar. When she finally moseys over to us, she admitted she had forgotten all about us. She then took our drink order, and the drinks came quickly. But then she literally never came back to take a food order. Watched her go to all the other tables, watched her clean off the bar, watched her answer a phone call for a takeout order, and then I finally went up to the bar and asked her if we could put in a food order. Once the food was ordered it came out quickly. My husband's smashburger and candied pecan salad were both really delicious. I am a sucker for a local food item whenever I see it on the menu, and I made the mistake of ordering the cashew chicken poutine. The cashew sauce had zero flavor and was just overly salty. The chicken was fried very tough. At least the cheese curds were good. But I barely ate any of it. Nothing but regret about this choice.

Lindberg's...get it on your list if you haven't been here. It's a bar - yes. But the food isn't typical by a long shot. The best tasting entrees you'll have in a bar.

On our road trip home we found Lindberg's Tavern. It was a great! The Original Wood Bar - Nostalgic, Can't find that anywhere. Burger and fries ALONG with a SPECIAL KETCHUP was just what we were looking for. Moe (spelling) ? Our server was very friendly along with everyone else!! WE RECOMMEND

Wonderful atmosphere and adventurous food choices. We stopped here on the way through and they did not disappoint. The service was wonderful and the food arrived quickly and was delicious.

Roast beef salad, great flavor and size, some of the roast beef were very chewy... but still tasty.

This place is gorgeous, downtown style red brick building with all the nostalgia and decor of a very old place, immediate service and great menu, great beer selection and awesome drinks, food came out fast even though we were there on a Saturday, overall a great experience

Got the House Smash Burger, ordered it with an egg. It was amazing! Fries are great, house made ketchup and ranch is great. Service was amazing, our waitress was really nice. Went during lunch time but I'm sure the atmosphere is even better at night!

Great experience! The bar seating was comfortable and service was great. Our burgers were absolutely delicious. My husband still hasn't shut up about the Dubliner and how good it was. We got the bread pudding to go--maybe we should've eaten it there while it was hot, but it was a bit disappointing. Worth noting, check their event schedule on Facebook before going. They often have bands with a cover charge.

I would actually give it a 3.5. The vibe is cool - old place with eclectic decor. Tunes playing, but not overly loud. We were seated right away on a Friday afternoon. I really liked my beer battered shrimp tacos! The fries that came with them were okay. My husband did not enjoy his Cuban sandwich. He said the mustard and picked were the only flavor and the pork belly and smoked pulled pork were flavorless. Our service was lackadaisical.

I was staying overnight in Springfield and was looking for a spot to grab dinner. Of course I turned to Yelp and Lindbergs Tavern popped up. It's located in the historic area of Springfield. Lindberghs isn't much to look at--more bar than restaurant. While the bar wasn't hopping on a Sunday evening, the patio and food were buzzing. I opted for the turkey club and fries. The turkey club was served warm and was incredibly delicious. The portions were large--more than I could finish. And the price was incredibly reasonable. The only reason I Lindberghs four stars instead of five was because of service. I'm not sure if they typically have servers in addition to the bartenders, but these two were definitely overwhelmed.

They took my order right away and let me enjoy a ginger beer while the magic happened inside. The curry chicken dinner player came with steamed cabbage accented with some bell peppers and a side of rice. By all accounts, this was probably too much food but for the price it was an absolute bargain! This plate was loaded with so much flavor I forgot that I was sitting in the corner of a parking lot. With the palm trees swaying to my side and the sun shining, I was transported to the island myself! The amount of options on the menu is enough to make any customer happy. Before you even walk in the building looks amazing, it's more spacious in the inside than it looks on the outside. Big open space and a little shop and showcased so many great items. There was jazz music playing and everything just felt cozy. Also it might sound weird but go use the restrooms! They look fantastic and will give you many ideas just for decorating. The food was delicious I had gotten the S'mores Iced Latte, Caprese Toast and shared Berries & Cream Pancakes. You might say wow $14 for some Caprese Toast but it was so filling you really don't need anything else. Everything was reasonably priced due to how elegant and delicious the food was. The service was really quick and it was fairly busy the food was hot and everything tasted really fresh. The people were very kind and helpful with any questions. The service was very professional and enjoyable!

Nothing special. Dry. Just not a good menu item. To the owners if they read this: The place is too nice to have counter service to order. Both times I've been here, it is always backed up and takes a good while to order. We were the 3rd group back last night. Parties of 2, each group was. And it takes too long. To end on a positive note: the place is neat and always great to have people revitalize an old building in our town.
